Abstract

The objective of this action research is to improving language skills through audio visual media. Researcher observed young children’s from age four to five years using audio visual media and attempted to learn about their spontaneous language skills. The research was conducted at TK PGRI II Serang Banten. It was done in two cycles with reference to Kemmis and Taggart model. The result of this research are average value of children in language skills on pre-research 28%, then in cycle I increased to 41%, in cycle II experienced a significant increase of 70% and having success on indicators targeted.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out if there is a relationship between parenting and parents' cultural background. This study used quantitative methods with correlational analysis data processing. In this study, 30 parents who have children aged 5-6 years in Benda Village, Sukabumi District, West Java, became the research subjects. Data collection methods used survey techniques and documentation. The analysis test used was Person Product Moment correlation between variable X and variable Y. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between parents' cultural background and parenting. This is based on the sign value. 0.000 > 0.05 is considered valid and the Pearson Correlation value of 0.757 indicates a strong interdependence between variables. Thus, there is a clear relationship between parents' cultural background and early childhood care.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia dini merupakan salah satu perkembangan bahasa anak yang harus distimulasi sejak dini sebagai bekal anak di masa depan. Kemampuan membaca dapat distimulasi lewat berbagai macam media pembelajaran salah satunya gadget. Penelitian ini didasari dengan adanya covid-19 dan berkembangnya revolusi industri yang berdampak sangat besar pada kehidupan Masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi marbel terhadap kemampuan membaca anak usia 4-5 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif quasi eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu pretest, treatment, dan posttest pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistic uji-t dengan hasil terdapat pengaruh aplikasi marbel terhadap kemampuan membaca anak usia 4-5 tahun dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,000<0,005dengan nilai rata-rata pretest 26,07, posttest 33,13 kelas eksperimen dan pretest 24,27, posttest 28,40 kelas kontrol. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi marbel memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan membaca anak usia 4-5 tahun.Kata kunci: Membaca, Aplikasi Marbel, Anak usia 4-5 Tahun
