Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the correlation between the extensioner 's role and the Member's participation in the farmer 's group activities. In accordance with the aim ofthe study, this research applies survey method with descriptive correlation type. The population of the study are th farmers who become a member offarmer 's group in the District of Banyudono. 50 farmers are taken as the samples ofthe study by using multi stage cluster random sampling. The data collecting technique is questionnare methode for all ofthe instruments. The analysis result at 5% level ofsignificance show that there is significant correlation between the extensioner 's role And the Member's participation in the farmer's group activities ( rxyl = 0,561 > r,ab = 0,279 ).

Abstract

This research aim detects connection between extension agent competence with member participation in farmer that be farmer group member at district Banyudono regency Boyolali. Research sample is taken with technique multistage cluster random sampling as much as 50 person.  Second research data that is extension agent competence and member participation in farmer group activity is gathered to pass inquiry formed instrument. Instrument validity is tested by using grain validity, while to detect reliabilities used internal consistency test with fomula alfa-cronbach. Furthermore data is analyzed with correlation technique. Analysis result in standard signifikansi 5% show that: found connection significant between extension agent competence with member participation in farmer group activity (rxy = 0,561 > rtab =0,279).
