Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman terhadap metode dan penerapan teknologi penelitian tindakan kelas serta pemahaman guru dalam menilai kredit untuk promosi jabatan fungsional merupakan sebuah permasalahan yang harus segera diselesaikan. Permasalahan yang ada tersebut diakibatkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman terhadap metode dan penerapan teknolgi penelitian tindakan kelas serta pemahaman guru dalam menilai kredit untuk promosi jabatan fungsional guru. Pada artikel ini diusulkan sebuah kegiatan pelatihan yang difokuskan pada mitra dampingan yaitu guru-guru yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Cilacap untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan secara berjenjang dimulai dari tahapan asesmen awal, persiapan kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan yang dilaksanakan memberikan sebuah peningkatan ilmu pengetahuan bagi peserta yang menunjang pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah serta karir guru yang bersangkutan. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan, hasil evalusi penilaian yang diberikan kepada peserta kegiatan 80% peserta diklat menilai bahwa pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan dapat memberikan ilmu yang data diterapkan.

Abstract

Mangrove Forest which is located at Karang Talun village, Tritih Kulon sub-district, North Cilacap, Central Java has a various potentials to develop. Its development can be conducted by utilizing local community for participating to improve with mastery of English language. Thus, it is necessary to conduct empowerment of local community through English language training to create qualified ones who can support in tourism field. The purpose of this training is to improve their English language skill and increase their economy and be able to survive by being local tour guide in the New Normal. There were 15 participants consist of traders and some employees who work in Mangrove forest. It was conducted for three days and used some methods, namely preaching method i.e, giving theory and practice learning on each unit of learning and drilling and repetition method. In addition, they were given pre test and post test to evaluate each participant’s skill. From the result, the participant’s skill in pronunciation, vocabulary and practicing dialogue has improved, but it still needs more practices. Drilling and repetition method in learning activity has been success to be applied for participants

Abstract

Hutan mangrove selain berfungsi sebagai kawasan konservasi tetapi juga dapat menjadi agen pembangunan pariswisata dan perekonomian penduduk yang tinggal di sekitar kawasan hutan mangrove. Berbagai potensi  hutan mangrove di Kelurahan Tritih, Cilacap belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh penduduk sekitar, khususnya hasil dari pohon mangrove seperti buah-buahan mangrove. Buah Tancang merupakan salah satu buah mangrove dengan kandungan karbohidrat yang tinggi belum diketahui oleh masyarakat yang tinggal  di kawasan hutan mangrove tersebut. Kurangnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan masyarakat di sekitar wisata hutan mangrove terhadap teknologi pemanfaatan produk dari buah tancang menyebakan potensi pengambangan produk olahan dari buah tersebut belum optimal. Ketersediaan buah tancang yang cukup melimpah di daerah tersebut, mendorong tim pengabdian masyarakat untuk memberikan pelatihan pengolahan buah tancang. Tujuan dari pelatihan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah buah tancang. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan metode diskusi dan praktek. Hasil pelatihan yaitu berupa adanya peningkatan kemampuan masyarakat yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya hasil pengembangan produk pangan olahan dari buah tancang.

Abstract

Every educational institution, both state and private, has the same main task and is important in carrying out lecture activities. These three main tasks are in the form of lecture or academic activities, research activities, and community service activities. These three main activities are commonly referred to as Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi. To carry out these three activities or Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi, health and safety are needed at work. It is known today that all parts of the world have experienced the outbreak of the Coronavirus disease 2019 or Covid-19. This has a very direct impact on the process of implementing Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi. To reduce the spread of the Covid virus outbreak, the actual action is needed that can prevent the transmission of the Covid virus outbreak. The government through the Ministry of Health issued 3M guidelines in preventing and reducing the spread of the Covid virus outbreak. 3M stands for wearing a mask, washing hands, and keeping your distance. However, 3M is not enough, there need to be other actions to prevent and reduce the spread of the Covid virus outbreak in safeguarding all the academics and students of the Cilacap State Polytechnic. One of the other forms of efforts taken in handling the spread of the Covid outbreak in the Cilacap State Polytechnic environment is the manufacture of WHO standard disinfectants and the holding of regular disinfectant spraying.

Abstract

Abstract               There are many beach tourist destinations in Cilacap Regency, Central Java that can be visited, one of which is Widarapayung beach. Widarapayung Beach is located in Binangun District, Cilacap Regency which is managed under the auspices of the Cilacap Regency Tourism and Culture Office whose implementation is managed by the KODIM 0703 Cilacap Cooperative. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of the PSBB caused the manager to have difficulty in providing information regarding the facilities available at Widarapayung Beach to potential visitors.                During the pandemic and the implementation of the PSBB, all information publications on Widarapayung beach were limited. Not all information about Widarapayung beach is known by the surrounding community or people from outside Cilacap. One of the multimedia developments that can provide visitors with the introduction of Widarapayung beach landmarks to make it easier to find more interesting information about Widarapayung beach by developing Augmented Reality technology. The result of this research activity is to implement Augmented Reality technology for the introduction of Widarapayung beach landmarks, Cilacap Regency so that visitors can more easily find out the facilities and information in Widarapayung based on Android. Keywords: augmented reality; landmark; widarapayung beach

Abstract

Improving education and training of teacher as a focus on reformation of educational system which is a goal that must be achieved in EFA (Education for All). As a tangible manifestation of the mandate through efforts to improve the quality of education and development of competency based on educational game tools or APE. PAUD teachers should also have the ability to design, create, utilize, maintain, and self-assess the tools for early childhood games because well-developed game tools will be more interesting than tools that were not developed first. This community service program activity is needed because the education level of PAUD teachers varies. Based on the results of the identification of the target audience, most PAUD teachers do not meet the academic qualifications and competencies properly. The ability to read, write, count, think actively and critically and the low implementation of learning models in the form of quality and fun educational teaching aids in PAUD institutions is very necessary. The expected output of this activity is the increasing, competency and quality of PAUD teachers towards educational game-based media learning programs (APE) and increasing the creativity of PAUD students by implementing APE-based learning media programs.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct an initial analysis of the characteristics of rice husk silica to be used as a membrane for purifying used cooking oil. Rice husks were obtained from Cilacap district. Rice husks are pyrolyzed at 650 0C for 6 hours until rice husk ash is produced. The rice husk ash is ground to a size of 50 mesh. Then 50 grams of rice husk ash was weighed and washed with 1 L of distilled water at a temperature of 80 0C. The washed ash was then extracted with 1 L of 5% KOH for 2 hours at a temperature of 75 0C. The silica extraction was divided into 5 and 10% HCL was added to obtain a pH of 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. The analysis carried out included rice husk ash yield analysis, silica yield, water content analysis, and iodine absorption analysis. The best results were obtained at pH 8 in the silica yield obtained, the water content at pH 6 was 7.4%, and the iodine absorption capacity at pH 8 was 1271.71%.
