Abstract

The success of Japanese companies in improving productivity is because they have a culture and a high work ethic to the application of KAIZEN management system. One such application is the Cultural 5S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke). In the Astra group, 5S is known as 5K2S (Order, neatness, cleanliness, sustainability Discipline, Safety, and Service). This study aims to assess the success of the application of the system 5K2S of PT. Andesen Jaya Plastik relating to opportunities for productivity. The method used isquantitative method with a descriptive study. The type of data used is primary and secondary data. While the techniques used in collecting the data are interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. The number ofrespondents was 31 employees. Analysis of the data used is descriptive and multiple linear regression analysis. The real success rate reachs 82.24% at the stage of familiarization (effective) and they have not yet advanced tothe next stage (prevention). The response of employees is between the Agree and Strongly Agree that is 4.11 point. The correlation between 5K2S to the opportunity of significant Productivity Improvement is Seiri/Order,Seiso/neatness, and Seiketsu/Sustainability.

Abstract

Kunyit mengandung komponen bioaktif alami meliputi kurkumin, bisdemetoksikurkumin, demetoksikurkumin, serta minyak atsiri yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menurunkan populasi bakteri patogen dan meningkatkan produktivitas pada ternak ayam broiler, namun komponen bioaktif kunyit yang bersifat antibakteri tersebut rentan untuk terdegradasi dalam proses pengolahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi peran kunyit dengan penambahan modified cassava flour sebagai bahan enkapsulan yang ditambahkan dalam ransum terhadap produktivitas serta pengaruhnya terhadap nilai bakteri patogen. Rancangan Acak Lengkap digunakan sebagai uji statistik dalam penelitian dengan menerapkan 5 perlakuan (Z0, Z1, Z2, Z3, dan Z4) serta (U1, U2, U3, dan U4) sebagai ulangan. Analisis Varians (ANOVA) digunakan untuk mengolah data, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan bila terdapat pengaruh nyata. Data yang telah diolah menunjukkan peningkatan level pemberian kunyit yang dienkapsulasi dengan modified cassava flour (KCF) pada ransum terbukti mampu meningkatkan produktivitas dari ternak ayam broiler, diantaranya konsumsi ransum yang mengalami peningkatan, meningkatkan nilai bobot badan pada ayam, menjaga kestabilan nilai pH daging, meningkatkan nilai water holding capacity (WHC), serta mampu menurunkan populasi bakteri patogen sampai dengan 6,79±0,14 Log CFU/g. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang pengaruh kunyit dengan penambahan modified cassava flour sebagai bahan enkapsulan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan level pemberian kunyit terenkapsulasi modified cassava flour sampai dengan 8% pada ransum terbukti mampu meningkatkan kualitas dari ayam broiler.

Abstract

The use of electricity in the world continues to increase over time, the main source of producing electricity in the world is coal which is a basic material that takes a long time to form. Since 2021, British patrol has recorded that coal supplies in the world are available at 1,074,108 million tonnes. In Indonesia, coal still provides 60% of the country's electricity supply and the other 40% uses other energy such as water, steam, gas and other energy. New renewable energy development goals through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in utilizing wind energy through vertical axis wind turbines. The research made three turbine models with different shapes, which then collected voltage data with an air compressor. The experimental results show that the average voltage generated by the two turbine models is 240 mV and 229 mV respectively. For the third model using two sampling methods obtained 353 mV and 292 mV. The use of vertical shaft wind turbines can be used in urban areas, especially in some tall buildings and parks. Research can still be developed by adding several other factors such as wind speed, turbine rotation speed and the aerodynamics of the turbine shape. and using a dc generator that requires a small torque so that it can increase the electric power produced.
