Abstract

AbstrakDengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi saat ini, banyak universitas yang telah memanfaatkan teknologi dalam sistem perkuliahannya, seperti melihat jadwal kelas, jadwal ujian, atau informasi kegiatan secara online. Namun, hal tersebut ternyata masih belum cukup, dikarenakan saat ini jumlah masyarakat di Indonesia yang menggunakan perangkat mobile sudah lebih dari 50% dari jumlah penduduknya. Saat ini kampus Ukrida belum memiliki aplikasi mobile untuk informasi perkuliahan. Untuk itu, diperlukan sebuah aplikasi mobile untuk meningkatkan fitur-fitur dari informasi tersebut. Beberapa contoh manfaatnya adalah dapat memberikan notifikasi jika adadosen yang berhalangan hadir dan juga mendapat pengingat dari kegiatan yang harus diikuti oleh mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mendapatkan informasi perkuliahan dan informasi kegiatan yang ada di Ukrida, yang terintegrasi dengan smartphone Android. Aplikasi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan teknologi web untuk pengambilan data yang ada di server dan Android Studio dalam pengembangan aplikasinya. Aplikasi ini juga dilengkapi dengan push notification yang akan memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mendapatkan informasi mengenai perubahan jadwal kuliah. Hasil pengujian terhadap aplikasi ini dilakukan melalui uji coba secara langsung dan menggunakan kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner, responden merasakan aplikasi ini berguna untuk menunjang perkuliahannya.Kata Kunci: Android, informasi perkuliahan, push notification

Abstract

Neuroblastoma is a type of embryonal cancer of the nervous system that is mostly found in children. Most etiologies of neuroblastoma are unknown, so many patients undergo treatment at an advanced stage. The importance of detection as early as possible is very necessary in neuroblastoma cancer so that children diagnosed with neuroblastoma can get a good prognosis. Through this study, it is expected to be able to know the feasibility of research with regard to artificial neural network procedures and the proposed PCA method. The lack of knowledge of investment products lead many people decided not to invest for their future. This can be overcome by utilizing the information and communication technology development by making a web application of Smart Investment Planner with the aim to recognize various types of investment product as well as the character investment and tips for users. This application uses a set of data as knowledge base which obtained from the literature, discussions with economic experts, database design, user interface design, as well as tests and evaluations by experts. The result of these applications concluded that this application collect the information as well as investment products that suit into their needs and also encourage them to start invest.

Abstract

This paper presents the modeling of face recognition using feature extraction based on Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) as a classifier. Three PCA techniques were compared, they are 1DPCA, 2DPCA and Bi-2DPCA. Meanwhile, three type of SVM kernel functions-linear, polynomial, and radial basis function (RBF) were used. The experiment used the ORL Face Database AT&T Laboratory, which contain 400 images with 10 images per each person. The leave one out method is used for validating each pair of extraction and classifier method. The highest accuracy is obtained by a combination of linear kernel and Bi-2DPCA85%, with 94.25%, and also the fastest computation time, is 15.34 seconds. Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif adalah sistem penyelenggaraan pendidikan yang memberikan kesempatan yang sama bagi semua siswa, termasuk yang berkebutuhan khusus, untuk mengembangkan keterampilan mereka. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berbasis pemrograman menawarkan platform untuk mengasah keterampilan teknis, terutama dalam bahasa pemrograman Python. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh penerapan Tes Awal (Pre-Test) dan Tes Akhir (Post-Test) terhadap inklusivitas dan efektivitas kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Python di kalangan siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif, pengabdian dilakukan dengan melaksanakan observasi kelas, wawancara, serta analisis hasil pre-test dan post-test dari dua sekolah di Jakarta. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tes awal membantu mengidentifikasi pemahaman awal siswa, sementara tes akhir efektif mengukur peningkatan pemahaman mereka. Selain itu, ditemukan pula bahwa program ekstrakurikuler ini memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pengembangan hard skills siswa dari berbagai latar belakang, mendukung terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang inklusif. Diharapkan temuan ini dapat memberikan panduan bagi guru dalam menerapkan metode pengajaran yang lebih adaptif dan inklusif di era digital.

Abstract

Vehicle license plates are the identities of motor vehicles that are often used for record-keeping when using paid parking lots. Recording vehicle license plates requires the application of information technology so that parking service administration is more efficient and free from recording errors. Information technology offers the application of OCR (Optical Character Recognition) methods to help the process of recording characters found on vehicle license plates. OCR has many techniques that can help the character recognition process, starting from the initial image capture process to the recognition stage. The initial image stage after being captured is to perform the initial image processing process by converting the image, determining the vehicle license plate area in the vehicle image, performing character labeling and segmentation on the plate image, and performing character recognition. The approach to character recognition on vehicle license plates that will be used is Hough Transform for determining the vehicle license plate area, character labeling and segmentation with Connected Component Labeling, and Template Matching as a character recognition method. The vehicle license plate character recognition model was tested with a scenario of 25 images captured directly from the parking lot. The test results produced Hough Transform and Connected Component Labeling could determine the vehicle license plate area and perform character labeling and segmentation on the vehicle license plate. Whereas in the template matching stage, the character recognition accuracy on 25 vehicle license plates was 94%. Other findings in this study are that the lighting conditions of the image environment, the number of images that become the database, and the condition of the paint of motor vehicle license plates can improve accuracy.
