Abstract

Indonesian language as the part of the Indonesian struggle for independence through the Sumpah Pemuda in 1928 confirmed the Indonesian language as the national language and unifying language of various races, religions and ethnicities. Post-independence, the Indonesian language strengthen its presence as a "state administration". If viewed from both sides, the Indonesian language has contributed to the development of social, cultural and political activities for the Indonesian nation. After the reform era, the Indonesian language continues to grow. One of the usesin political communication, especially political campaigns. The use of this language is to gain sympathy, attention, and perception of the public to make a choice in the general election. The method used in this study is descriptive method with qualitative approach. Data was collected by literature review. The results showed that the political campaign is the one of the implementation of political communication from the candidates to the public.Performance shown when delivering his message in front of the audience/public needs to be supported with appropriate variety of language and clear message. The variety of Indonesian language in political campaign with open campaign model should be informal language, then the dialogic campaign model should be formal language. Some snippets of campaign text that have been discussed show that the uses of language there still has not been proper use of the word. The application of variety of language is a reflection of the candidatespersonality so that appropriate usage of words also give effect to the audience/voter in determining their choice. The study recommends collaboration among political actors with language experts in creating political communication integrity.

Abstract

Dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, harus ada keberlanjutan kinerja dan peningkatan kualitas. Peningkatan kualitas berkelanjutan berfungsi sebagai langkah untuk mengatasi masalah pendidikan berkualitas rendah yang mengandalkan pendekatan konvensional. Pendekatan jaminan kualitas memimpin institusi pendidikan tinggi untuk belajar dan menerapkan Manajemen Kualitas Total (TQM). TQM adalah manajemen mutu terpadu yang dilakukan oleh setiap tingkat manajemen dan semua unit dalam sistem organisasi yang bertujuan untuk memberikan layanan yang memuaskan kepada pelanggan. Jadi setiap Pendidikan Tinggi harus mengoptimalkan manajemen untuk meningkatkan kualitas. Ada empat lingkup manajemen pendidikan tinggi yang berhasil, seperti: (1) siswa merasa puas dengan layanan pendidikan tinggi; (2) pelanggan pendidikan puas dengan layanan kepada siswanya; (3) pemegang saham merasa puas memiliki lulusan berkualitas tinggi dan memenuhi ekspektasi; (4) dosen dan staf puas dengan layanan pendidikan tinggi di beberapa bidang: pembagian kerja, hubungan dan komunikasi antara dosen / pemimpin, karyawan, gaji / honor yang diterima dan layanan.

Abstract

The use of technology has a very positive effect on the process of imparting knowledge in education. The use of good information and communication technology is able to play an active role in providing assistance in the field of education. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian through the application of ICT. The method used is classroom action research in a collaborative form, where researchers are directly involved in the research process from the beginning to the end of the research. The results of this study were an increase in student learning outcomes of SMAN 16 Makassar in each cycle, namely in the pre-cycle in class X MIPA 3 as many as 2 people reached the KKM, in cycle 1 as many as 15 people, and cycle 2 as many as 34 people. In class XI MIPA 2 at the pre-cycle stage no one reached the KKM, Cycle 1 as many as 18 people, and cycle 2 as many as 33. Furthermore, in class XII IPS 1 in the pre-cycle stage there were 2 students who reached KKM, cycle 1 as many as 13 people. , and cycle 2 as many as 28 students. The results of this study indicate that the application of ICT in SMA Negeri 16 Makassar can improve student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

Abstract. Discussing research that aims to develop student motivation and learning outcomes with the application of non-examples learning models  class XI MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 16 Makassar. This research is in its stages using class action research. The data in this study is an observation sheet and test results with primary and secondary data sources. The data analysis technique is to use criteria and assessment rubrics. The results of the study found that there were significant positive changes related to students' interests and motivations for learning, such as activeness, curiosity, and student responsibility. Evident from the increase in the average observation sheet containing these indicators which reached 75.2 at the end of cycle II. Meanwhile, the average student learning outcome also showed an increase in prescience of 54.39 increased to 62.14 at the end of cycle I and experienced a good increase at the end of cycle II to 75.14 or 81% with the number of students reaching KKM as many as 29 out of 36 students.Keyword: Motivation to learn, learning outcomes, examples non examples

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to describe the influence of constructivistic models on improving the ability to write lecture texts for students in class XI of IPS Sma Negeri 16 Makassar. This research is a class action study. The subject in this study was the students of class XI ips sma Negeri 16 Makassar which amounted to 36 students. This research data was collected from tests of the ability to write lecture and observation texts. Furthermore the data is analyzed using quantitative description analysis and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the activities shown by students from activities that had been carried out in cycles 1 to 2 showed different attitudes. After the action is carried out in cycle 2 students become more active in learning, students are not silent and passive in cycle 1 but students follow the instructions given by researchers, besides that students also show interest and enthusiasm in the learning process. The spirit of students in the learning process is very visible and students more often ask related questions that are not yet understood. Student test scores at the time of student presiklus activities that reached KKM as many as 2 people or by 5%. In cycle 1 activities, students who reached KKM as many as 10 students or by 27% in cycle 2 students who reached KKM as many as 32 students or as many as 88%.Keyword: Reading, Talk Text, Constructivistic model

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of character education on the learning outcomes of Indonesian class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Takalar. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, namely, the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation and evaluation stage, and the reflection stage. The results of this study indicate that the process of implementing the first cycle of learning is not optimal, namely 60.34%, it is different in the second cycle which changes more effectively, which is 84.17%. It is proven that in cycle II, students are more enthusiastic and motivated in participating in the learning process. It shows that the influence of the application of character education on Indonesian language learning outcomes in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Takalar can successfully change students' character optimally. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the influence of the application of character education on the learning outcomes of Indonesian class XI IPA 4 students at SMA Negeri 1 Takalar can successfully change the student's character optimally.

Abstract

This action research aims to improve the poetry writing skills of SMA Negeri 5 Makassar students through a quantum writing approach. This research was conducted using data collection instruments, namely tests and non-tests. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. Qualitative data analysis technique is done by comparing student progress between before and after the cycle takes place based on the results of writing poetry. The improvement of poetry writing skills can be seen from the process and student learning outcomes. The results showed that the results showed that there was an increase in poetry writing skills in class X MIPA 1. The results of the initial test showed that students were less successful in interpreting poetry with an average score of 56.91%, after treatment in the first cycle there was an increase. of 71.58 the first cycle. Based on the development of the second cycle, the researchers continued the second cycle of treatment so that learning outcomes experienced a significant increase, namely 84.52%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the influence of the quantum writing method can increase students' poetry writing skills in class X SMA Negeri 5 Makassar in writing poetry.

Abstract

The curriculum is something that must exist in every component of learning because the curriculum is used as a reference for the success or failure of an educational institution in carrying out the learning process. The purpose of the study was to find out about the 2013 curriculum and the driving school in Indonesian class X subjects in terms of content standards and a comparison of the 2013 curriculum and the driving school curriculum in terms of content standards in the Indonesian class X subjects. The results showed that the 2013 curriculum had a similar concept. good in the educational process, however, implementation in schools is not fully running properly. Meanwhile, the implementation of the driving school curriculum was carried out in the first year quite well. Based on this description, the implementation of the 2013 curriculum is better, but that does not mean that the driving school curriculum is not feasible, only because it has only been implemented this year, so there are still many shortcomings when compared to the 2013 curriculum which has been used for a long time.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Send A Problem technique on the ability to write an argumentative essay. Techniques in data collection in the form of test techniques in the form of descriptions, observations and interviews. The data obtained in this study were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. Student learning outcomes in learning to write using the Send A Problem technique, then calculated using the formula for the average value. This is evident in the results of research that the ability to write argumentative essays has increased gradually. Cycle 1 the average value of students is 64 with a KKM value of 72, including the low category, then it is continued in cycle 2 with the results of the average score of students above the KKM which is 84. So it can be concluded that there is a significant increase from the application of the Send A Problem technique to argumentative essay writing skills of class X SMA Negeri 5 Makassar so that it is stated to have been successful and quite effectively applied in the learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

Businesses in the field of sewing clothes are mostly carried out by housewives. This community service activity aims to improve the skills of the Sanrobone Collection sewing business group through non-formal education in the village of Sanrobone, Takalar district. Activity partners have technical and management problems. The method of implementing the activity is training with a participatory method, which involves partners directly and participates as much as possible in the training. The product output produced based on the activity plan is the mukenah or prayer veil. The training is carried out in stages. For the first stage, material is given about some of the errors that occur in making mukenah which cause discomfort when worn and how to overcome them. After that, it was given how to measure, then how to cut the cloth and finally how to sew so that it was neat. Management problems are carried out in the form of organizational assistance. This community service activity has been carried out and the partners enthusiastically participated in this activity
