Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the influence of digital comic media on students' understanding of the diversity of Indonesian music among grade VI elementary school students in Blora Kota District, Blora Regency. The research employs a quasi-experimental design. The population consists of all elementary schools in Blora Kota District, Blora Regency. The sample was determined using the cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected using a test method in the form of pretests and posttests. The hypothesis was tested using a t-test. The study results indicate that the use of digital comic media enhances students' understanding of the diversity of Indonesian music. Comics motivate students and help them understand material through images. This is evidenced by an increase in the average posttest score (86.590) compared to the average pretest score (68.409). Moreover, the significance value from the t-test is 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating a significant influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable.

Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this classroom action research is to describe the application of the project based learning model and increase the active learning of students in class V at SDN Kalijoso. This research involved teachers and all fifth grade students at Kalijoso Elementary School, totaling 26 students. Interviews, documentation and observations were used to collect data. Source and technical triangulation is used to determine the validity of the data. Interactive data analysis as a data analysis method. The findings of this study show that the implementation of the project based learning model is carried out according to steps including (1) starting with basic questions, (2) making a product plan, (3) making a schedule, (4) monitoring, (5) testing product results, ( 6) evaluation of experience. The application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can increase students' learning activeness through three cycles. The average pre-action learning activity was 31.95% then increased in the first cycle to 58% and increased in the second cycle to 76.27% and again increased in the third cycle to 88.45%.Kata kunci: project based learning, active learning, science learning, elementary school

Abstract

The study's goals were to: 1) explain how project-based learning can help students become more creative when studying Science Theme 8: Our Friends' Environment; and 2) use project-based learning to help students become more creative when studying Science Theme 8: Neighborhood of Our Friends. This kind of inquiry is called class action. In order to gather information, researchers used observation, interviews, product originality evaluations, and document reviews. To verify the accuracy of the data, researchers utilized source triangulation and technique triangulation. Techniques for data reduction, data visualization, and inference were employed to evaluate the outcomes. The study's findings indicate that project-based learning in the classroom can help pupils become more creative. Student originality for Cycle I was rated at 74.35, Cycle II at 86.85, and Cycle III at 91.02. demonstrates a rise in student creativity. Cycle I to Cycle III saw an increase of 16.67. Students' creativity falls under the categories of moderate creativity in cycle I, high creativity in cycle II, and high creativity in cycle III.Kata kunci: Creativity, Project Based Learning, Science.

Abstract

Many schools have not successfully empowered students’ critical thinking skills in science subject learning due to inappropriate learning models. This article aims to describe the impact of the project-based learning (PjBL) model on the critical reasoning skill dimension of P3. This quantitative research method is using quasi-experimental with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design type using a pretest-posttest on the sample class. The selection of the sample class used a multistage random sampling technique. The sample used 73 students, and it consist of 26 experimental class students, 22 control class students, and 26 test class students. This study data were analyzed using paired sample t-test and independent sample ttest. The data had previously met the prerequisite test analysis. The findings indicated a significant positive impact on the benefit of PjBL models toward the critical thinking dimension (on Profil Pelajar Pancasila/ P3) of 4 th -grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study on the implementation of dance education in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum for Grade 4 at SDN Gedongan 01 is studied from the perspective of holistic arts education. The main thing studied is the integration of the implementation of holistic arts education within the framework of the new curriculum. This study aims to describe dance arts learning in improving students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills. Using a qualitative case study methodology, data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis involving dance educators and Grade 4 students. Based on the study, it was found that a holistic approach to dance education contributed significantly to students' physical alignment, strength, balance, and self-control, which is in line with the principle of holistic education that integrates mind, body, and soul. This approach not only improves dance movement skills but also improves students' self-confidence, cooperation, and communication skills, which provides a strong model for arts education in elementary schools. The implications of this study are to provide important information for teachers in terms of the benefits of holistic arts education for student development. The researcher's suggestion is that holistic arts education can be further integrated into further efforts by the school.
