Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk kandang sapi dan Super Bokasi AOS Amino memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi kacang hijau. Penelitian dilakukan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area yang berlokasi di jalan Kolam No.1 Medan Estate. Penelitian ini di laksanakan bulan Mei sampai bulan Juli 2015, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial, dengan dua ulangan, 16 kombinasi. Faktor pertama yaitu pupuk kandang sapi yaitu S0 = tanpa pupuk kandang sapi, S1 =  pupuk kandang pada dosis 2,25 kg per plot, S2 = pupuk kandang sapi pada dosis 4,5 kg per plot, S3= pupuk kandang sapi pada dosis 6,75 kg per plot. Faktor kedua adalah Super Bokasi AOS Amino yaitu A0 = Tanpa pemberian AOS Amino, A1= AOS Amino pada konsentrasi 0,375 %, A2 =  AOS Amino pada konsentrasi 0,75 %, A3= AOS Amino pada konsentrasi 1,13 %. Hasil  penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang sapi ( S ) nyata meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan berat basah per 100 biji tanaman sampel kacang hijau (Vigna radiata L.) varietas vima-1.Perlakuan konsentrasi pupuk super bokasi AOS Amino (A) nyata meningkatkan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun kacang hijau (Vigna radiata L.) varietas vima-1. Serta perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang sapi dan konsentrasi pupuk super bokasi AOS Amino (SA) nyata meningkatkan tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun kacang hijau (Vigna radiata L.) varietas vima-1.

Abstract

Corn is one of stupple food to support economic growth in North Sumatera. The purpose of this research was to obtain data on the ability of compost derived from coffee husks and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in the growth and production of sweet corn plants (Zea mays sccharata Sturt). The method used in this study is a randomized block design (RDB) in factorial, with 2 (two) treatment factors, namely: 1) Factor coffee skin and  2) arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (M), each treatment was repeated two (2) times so that there are 40 experimental plots. The parameters observed are plant height, number of leaves, cob length, sample crop production per plot, crop production per plot, top wet weight, bottom wet weight, percentage of pest attack, colonization of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, effectiveness of treatment application to all parameters. The results obtained from this study were: 1) The giving of coffee skin compost did not significantly affect the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, cob length, sample plant production per plot, crop production per plot, top wet weight and bottom wet weight; 2) The allocation of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi has no significant effect on the parameters of observing plant height, number of leaves, cob length, sample plant production per plot, crop production per plot, top wet weight and bottom wet weight; 3) The combination of coffee husks compost and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi did not significantly affect the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, length of cob, sample crop production per plot, crop production per plot, top wet weight and bottom wet weight.

Abstract

The Response Of Liquid Waste Utilization Of Palm Oil On Growth And Production Plant Of Kailan (Brassica Oleraceae L.). Under the guidance of  Ir. Gusmeizal, MP as the commission chairman of counselor and Ir. Ellen L. Panggabean, MP as the commission member of counselor.  This research was conducted at the experimental garden of Agriculture Faculty University of Medan Area, located on Jl. PBSI Medan Estate. This research was conducted began in April 2016 until June 2016. The purpose of this research was to determine the response of liquid waste utilization of palm oil on growth and production plant of kailan. This research was conducted by using Randomized Block Design (RBD) non factorial which consists of 4 levels of treatment are: L0 = Control (NPK 20 g/plot),  L1 = 1 l/plot,  L2 = 2 l/plot,  L3 = 3 l/plot. Parameters observed were height of plants, leaf number, stem diameter, fresh weight of harvest by plot, fresh weight of harvest by sample, fresh weight of sell by plot, fresh weight of sell by sample. The results of research showed that utilization of liquid waste of palm oil did not show significantly different results in all parameters of observation, but the liquid fertilizer from palm oil waste is able to compensate for the growth and production plant of kailan (Brassica oleracea L.) that fertilized with NPK.

Abstract

Utilization of Lamtoro Leaf Green Manure (Leucaena Leucocephala) and Banana Weevil Liquid Organic Fertilizer on Growth and Production of Long Beans (Vigna Sinensis L). Under the guidance of Mr. Ir.H.Gusmiezal,MP as chairman and Mr. Ir .H.Abdul Rahman, MS as a member. The study was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area. Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra in July-October 2021. The study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK), with 2 (2) treatment factors, namely; the first is (1) the factor of giving lamtoro leaf green manure with 4 (4) levels of treatment, namely; L0 = without treatment (control) L1 = dose of 10 tons/ha (1.44 kg/plot) L2 = dose of 20 tons/ha (2.88 kg/plot) L3 = dose of 30 tons/ha (4, 32 kg/ha)The second (2) factor for giving liquid organic green Pupuh Banana weevil, namely; P0 = without organic fertilizer (control) P1 = application of organic fertilizer with a concentration of 5% P2 = application of organic fertilizer with a concentration of 10% P3 = application of organic fertilizer with a concentration of 15%. Parameters observed were: Plant height (cm), Stem diameter (cm). Flowering age (days). Production per plant (g). Production per plot (kg). The results showed that the green manure of lamtoro leaves showed significant results in the L3 treatment with a dose of 30 tons/ha (4.32 kg/plot) and for the application of liquid organic fertilizer the Banana Bonggol gave significant results in the P3 treatment with a concentration of 15%. For the combination of the 2 treatments, the real treatment was L1P3 (Lamtoro application with Banana weevil POC).

Abstract

Bitter melon is fast-growing favorable vegetable these days. Nevertheless, there is limited study about it. The study aims to determine the Response of Giving Bokhasi Cow Cages and Various Organic Mulch Against Growth and Production of Bitter Melon. The study was conducted at the University of Medan Area Experimental Garden on Jl. PBSI No.1 Medan Estate with a height of 23 meters above sea level. The design used in the study was a factorial Split Plot Design (RPT) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the provision of organic mulch which is placed as the main plot of 4 treatments, namely: M0: without mulch, M1: rice straw mulch, M2: alang-alang Mulch, M3: rice husk mulch and the second factor is the provision of cattle cages placed as a subplot of 4 treatments, namely: B0: without bokhasi cowshed, B1: bokhasi cowshed 10 tons/ha, B2: bokhasi cowshed 20 tons/ha, B3: bokhasi cowshed 30 tons/ha. This research with 3 replications. Observation parameters of plant height, number of leaves, fruit length, number of fruits, fruit wrap, sample weight, and plot weight. The results showed that: 1) Organic mulch administration significantly affected plant height observations with the best treatment of M1 (rice straw mulch). 2) Giving bokhasi cowshed significantly affected all parameters. 3) The results of the interaction analysis have a significant effect on observing the weight of the sample with the best treatment of M3B3 (rice husk mulch + bokhasi cattle cage 30 tons /ha).

Abstract

To improve the quality of pepper products through organic cultivation using organic growth regulators. This Research aims to investigate concentration and long immersion effect of golden snail meat (Pomacea canaliculata L.) on the growth of pepper cuttings (Piper nigrum L.). the method was experimental with a randomized block design (RAK) Factorial design with two factors namely various golden snail meat concentrations and long immersion ranging from several hours. The parameters observed in this study was Growth Percentage (%), Bud Height (cm), Number of Leaves (Strands), Root Length (cm), and Root Volume (ml). The results showed that the treatment of snail meat zpt concentration did not significantly affect the shoot height parameters but significantly affected the percentage of growth, number of leaves, root length and root volume where the effective zpt concentration was 50%. The long immersion treatment significantly affected the percentage of growth and shoot height where the best treatment at w1 was 3 hours’ immersion. The treatment combination of ZPT golden snail meat (Pomacea canaliculata L.) and long immersion did not significantly affect all observations parameters.

Abstract

Testing of Compost Waste Baglog Media Fungus and Biochar Palm Kernel Shells in Rubber Grafting Seeds (Hevea Brasiliensis) intercropped with Rice Plants. This thesis is under the guidance of Ir. Gusmeizal, MP as supervisor I and Dr.Ir. Sumihar Hutapea MS, as supervisor II This research was conducted in Sampali Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, on May 28-September 8, 2018. The research method used was a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 2 treatment factors, namely, mushroom baglog compost media waste (K) and oil palm kernel biochar (B) where compost treatment was 3 levels and oil palm kernel biochar treatment was 4 level. Factor I: Compost of mushroom baglog media waste with 3 levels of concentration ie K0 = Control (without compost), K1 = Baglog compost of 50 grams / polybag, K2 = Baglog compost of 100 grams / polybag. While Factor II: Biochar palm kernel with 4 levels, namely: B0 = Control (without Biochar), B1 = Giving Biochar Palm Kernel 10 grams / polybag, B2 = Giving Biochar Palm Kernel 20 grams / polybag, B3 = Giving Biochar Kernel 10 grams / polybag, B2 = Giving Biochar Palm Kernel 20 grams / polybag, B3 = Giving Biochar Kernel Palm Oil 30 grams / polybag, each treatment was repeated 3 times.The parameters observed in this study consisted of shoot bud rupture time, shoot height (cm), number of strands (leaves), leaf area, leaf color, stem diameter. The results showed that the treatment given had no significant effect on all parameters.

Abstract

Okra plant is becoming to be one of favortite vegetable in Indonesia since then the deman of this plant is growing very rapidly. The aim of this research is to Utilize Palm Oil Liquid Organic Fertilizer and M-Bio Biofertilizer Against Growth and Production in Okra Plants (Abelmoschusesculentus  L.  Moench).  This  study  used  a  Randomized  Block  Design (RBD) with 2 replications. Factorial consisting of II treatment factors, Factor I treatment given P0: Without Liquid Palm Oil Organic Fertilizer, P1: Provision of PKS liquid fertilizer and Factor II, treatment of giving M-Bio. Parameters observed in this study were  vegetative dan generative. The results showed that the treatment of oil palm liquid organic fertilizer had no significant effect on vegetative and generative observed parameters. The treatment of M-Bio biofertilizer significantly affected the vegetative and generative observation parameters where the best dose was treatment  6%. The treatment of the combination of liquid organic fertilizer from palm oil waste and M-Bio biological fertilizer has no significant effect on all parameters of vegetative and generative observations.
