Abstract

Seperti  Ulumul  Qur’an  lainnya,  qira’at  merupakan  salah  satu senjata yang dapat menyingkap dan menelanjangi teks al-Qur’an agar ia benar-benar bugil di hadapan umat. Oleh sebab itulah, sebagian  besar  mufassir  al-Qur’an  menjadikan  qira’at  sebagai salah satu senjata ampuh untuk mengungkap makna di balik teks al-Qur’an itu. Mayoritas mufassir al-Qur’an memiliki pandangan bahwa qira’at adalah sunnah yang wajib diikuti dan diriwayatkan secara  mutawatir.  Dengan  demikian,  tidak  sembarang  orang memiliki  otoritas  untuk  membaca  al-Qur’an  dengan  berbagai bentuk bacaan yang itu tidak bersumber dari Nabi

Abstract

Terminus takwil dalam tradisi penafsiran Syi’ah identik dengan interpretasi esoteris-sentris, yang telah dirilis sejak abad pertama hijriyyah.Penggunaan teori tersebut termotivasi dari keyakinan orang-orang Syi’ah tentang sosok Ali bin Abi Thalib yang kompeten dalam hal ta’wi>l. Di awal-awal perumusannya, teori ta’wi>l yang dibangun bersifat bebas-ekstrim. Namun dalam perkembangannya, terutama sejak periode modern-kontemporer teori ta’wi>l telah digeser dan orang-orang Syi’ah mulai menjadikan kesusastraan sebagai tingkatan metodologi penafsiran mereka. Di antara tokoh Syi’ah yang melakukan perombakan teori ta’wi>l adalah Muh}ammad Ba>qir al-S{adr. Menurutnya, ta’wi>l adalah istilah lain dari tafsir al-ma’na>, yaitu tafsir yang penekanannya pada eksternal (al-mis}da>q al-kha>riji) atau inner (hakikat) teks. Kemudian Muh}ammad Ba>qir al-S}adr membagi pembaca teks atau penerima wacana menjadi dua yaitu manusia secara umum dan para imam yang ma’s}u>m. Menurutnya, setiap manusia memiliki potensi untuk memahami seluruh ayat al-Qur’an dan mengeksplorasi maknanya. Namun pemahaman manusia terhadap al-Qur’an berbeda-beda sesuai dengan kapasitas keilmuan yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing dari mereka. Kemudian para imam yang ma’s}u>m. Mereka memiliki kualifikasi terpercaya untuk menafsirkan dan memahami makna inner (makna terdalam) al-Qur’an. Namun bukan berarti bahwa interpretasi al-Qur’an hanya merupakan hak otonom mereka. Karenanya, Muh}ammad Ba>qir al-S}adr menolak sementara riwayat yang menyatakan bahwa pemahaman al-Qur’an hanya diberikan kepada para imam. Karena selain bertentangan dengan al-Qur’an dan hadis, perawi riwayat-riwayat tersebut lemah dan dikenal sebagai orang-orang yang ekstrim.

Abstract

Berawal dari ketidakpuasannya terhadap bentuk dan sistematika tafsir klasik (taḫlili) yang menurutnya telah melahirkan pandangan-pandangan parsial (not complete) dan atomistik serta belum mampu menyuguhkan pandangan solutif terhadap problem-problem kehidupan, juga karena motivasinya terhadap pernyataan sayyidina Ali bin Abi Thālib “Istantiq al-Qur’an….”, maka untuk menambal kekurangan-kekurangan dalam tafsir-tafsir klasik tersebut dan mengaplikasikan tesis ‘Ali, Muhammad Bāqir al-Şadr mengajukan sebuah metode tematik yang ia sebut dengan metode tawhîdi. Istilah tawhîdi, bukan dalam arti kesatuan tema dalam al-Qur’an sebagaimana metode tafsirnya Ḫasan al-Turābi dan yang lain, akan tetapi yang dimaksud tawhîdi oleh Bāqir al-Şadr adalah penyatuan pengalaman-pengalaman manusia (realitas sosial) dengan al-Qur’an. Metode tawhîdi adalah metode tafsir dimana penafsir tidak menafsirkan al-Qur’an secara membujur ayat per ayat, tetapi mengetengahkan pandangan al-Qur’an mengenai persoalan atau tema-tema kehidupan yang menyangkut masalah akidah, sosial dan kosmologi seperti tema tentang tauhid, kenabian (nubuwwah), ekonomi, norma-norma sejarah, penciptaan langit dan bumi dan lain-lain. Sehingga ketika ada tafsir yang disusun berdasarkan tema-tema tertentu dalam al-Qur’an dan tidak tuntas menyelesaikan problem sosial, maka Muhammad Bāqir al-Şadr menyebutnya dengan Dirāsah Qur’āniyyah, bukan tafsir tematik. Abstract

This research highlights the divergence in writing between the 1974 Menara Kudus Quranic printing and the standardized Uthmānīc style in sura Yāsīn. Having examined literatures related to the history of the Kudus version including the text itself, this research concludes that the formerdoes not follow the later in three cases: the omitting (ḥadhf) of the alif and the skeleton of the alone hamzahas well as the connected two hamzah at the beginning of a sentence. Keyword: Sura Yāsīn, rasm Quran Kudus 1974, Uthmnic style.

Abstract

This article examines the answer of Abdul Ilāh Ḥūri to the accusation of ideologization in tafsīr ayāt aḥkām (Qur’anic exegesis on the legal verses) through  his work Asbāb Ikhtilāf al-Mufassirīn fī Tafsīr Ᾱyāt al-Aḥkām. The tendency to ideologize these schools of tafsīr can be understood not only because of the writer's background as a demonstrative school activist, but other factors are also very influential on the resulting tafsīr ayāt aḥkām products, such as: differences in using the rules of al-'ibrah bi 'umūm al-lafẓi lā bi khuṣūṣ al-sabab or vice versa, differences in choosing qirā'at, differences in interpreting siyāq (context) or in his term that is called mā fī al-Qur'ān and mā ḥaula al-Qur'ān.

Abstract

This study examines the Manuscript of Mushaf al-Qur`an Ancient Paper A (MMKK-A) a collection of the Jenang and Gusjigang Museum in Kudus. The purpose of this study is to describe the physical form of the manuscript through codicological studies and its textual content through analysing it on the basis of the code of writing hamzah formulated by Abū Amr al-Dāni dan Abū Dawūd Sulaimān al-Najāh known as shaikhāni fī al-rasm. The physical form of the manuscript through codicological studies and its textual content through analysing it on the basis of the code of writing hamzah formulated by Abū Amr al-Dāni dan Abū Dawūd Sulaimān al-Najāh known as shaikhāni fī al-rasm. The results of this study reveal that the Manuscript of Mushaf al-Qur`an Ancient Paper A (MMKK-A) was written around the 18th-19th centuries AD using European paper with a writing model in the form of khat naskhi. This manuscript consists of 30 Juz bound using thread, with a size of 33 cm long x 22.5 cm wide. As for the text analysis, the analysis of the rasm with hamzah rules is generally in accordance (ittīfaq) with the rules formulated by shaikhān fī al-rasm, and some words violate the formulation of one of them (ikhtilaf baina aḥadhihima)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interactions and responses of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) community toward the attitudes of the Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Institute (LDII) by examining the moderation practices implemented by NU figures and the community in Dasun Village, Lasem Sub-district, Rembang, Central Jawa. The research employs a qualitative approach with a field research methodology. The selection of research subjects was conducted using purposive sampling, focusing on informants with in-depth knowledge of NU's moderatism in Dasun Village. The primary subjects include religious and community leaders, village heads, officials, and religious figures affiliated with both NU and LDII, as well as four community members actively engaged in local activities. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings, analyzed through Talcott Parsons' theory of social change, reveal two key aspects. First, the social interactions of NU members reflect positive engagement, which extends beyond mere spatial coexistence to active participation in both social and religious activities. Second, viewed through Parsons' AGIL framework, NU religious and community leaders in Dasun successfully eliminated socio-religious barriers by fostering unity in communal events without emphasizing specific organizational or ideological affiliations. This approach aimed to build solidarity, cohesiveness, and shared responsibility. Furthermore, the integration of religious and community leaders played a crucial role in leveraging social dynamics to mobilize residents toward harmonious coexistence. This was achieved by maintaining togetherness, social cohesion, and latent solidarity, as well as preserving local traditions and cultural practices. These findings contribute to the theoretical discourse on religious moderation and social integration by demonstrating how grassroots leadership fosters harmony in pluralistic communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of empowering women who work as halal assistants at LP3H UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Women's participation and gender equality that places women in a position equal to men are an important part of the success of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program including women's empowerment and economic independence. The method used in this research is field research (faild research) with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation about halal assistance and halal women assistants at LP3H UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The results of this study indicate that in the midst of a patriarchal culture that is still rooted in Indonesian society, women who work as halal assistants are able to survive and there are even practices of women's empowerment, this is indicated by cooperation, collaboration, and even mutual support between female assistants. The formation of an organization/community as a forum for halal assistants is very influential on the productivity of assistance carried out by women. In addition, the factor of strategic positions filled by women both as chairman / management of communities such as Pumikop and Forkom (Communication Forum) UMKM makes women more active and productive in providing assistance to business actors

Abstract

Artikel ini menyoal bagaimana ukuran kesahihan qirâ’at al-Qur’an dalam pandangan al-Zamakhsyari sebagai tokoh rasionalis Mutazilah yang sangat fanatik terhadap premis mazhabnya. Namun dalam artikel ini, hanya akan dipaparkan tentang fanatisme al-Zamakhsyari terhadap mazhab nahwunya yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap pandangannya tentang kesahihan qirâ’at. Bagi al-Zamakhsyari, tidak ada istilah bacaan kanonik (qirâ’at mutawatirah) karena qirâ’at menurutnya adalah inferensi dan hasil ijtihad para qurra’, bukan dari Rasulullah melalui mata rantai periwayatan (asanid) yang independen dan otoritatif. Pandangan tersebut berdampak pada kebiasaan al-Zamakhsyari untuk menyalahkan dan menganggap tidak benar sebagian qira’at, mencela dan menganggap para rawi sebagai orang yang tidak mengetahui keindahan dan keagungan susunan kalimat al-Qur’an, mengunggulkan, memilih dan memilah sebagian qira’at dan mengklaim salah para sarjana qirâ’at, baik itu dari kalangan sahabat maupun tokoh-tokoh qirâ’at pasca sahabat.   Kata Kunci: Kesahihan qirâ’at, bacaan-bacaan kanonik, mazhab kebahasaan

Abstract

This paper examines the text of the science of qirā`at entitled al-Mukarrar fī Mā Tawātara min Qirāati al-Sab'i wa Taḥrir with a focus on the physical aspects of the text, the text, and the analysis of the context surrounding the birth of the manuscript. This research is a type of qualitative research, with the approach of codicology, textology and history of horizontal history of Muhammad Arkoun. The results show that the condition of al-Mukarrar's manuscript is quite good, complete, and all of his writings can still be read clearly. The base of the manuscript is European paper with a PROPATRIA paper stamp, and a GR (Georgius Rex) match paper stamp. The year of copying is thought to be around the early 19th century. There is information that until the end of the 20th century there was not a single qirā`at book that was taught to students in the archipelago. However, the existence of the al-Mukarrar manuscript in the midst of the intellectual relationship between Nusantara scholars and the Middle East which is increasingly solidly built, and the massive writing tradition in various Islamic boarding schools, naturally explains that prior to the 20th century, there had been teaching and learning activities regarding the science of qirā`at, which in turn led to the need to copy manuscripts in handwritten form.
