Abstract

The research aims to determine the impact of economic growth and open unemployment rates on poverty in Tulungagung district in 2009 to 2022. The research method is a type of descriptive quantitative research using double linear regression analysis and data with data used such as macro data of economic growth, open unemployment, and poverty of districts of Tulungagung which originates from BPS Tulungabung. The results of the study showed that economic growth had a significant negative (reversible) impact on poverty with a count t value > t table (-14,985 > 1,795) and a significant 0,000 > 0,05. Open unemployment had no significant impact on Poverty with the count T value < T table (1,278 < 1,795), and significant 0.228 > 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of remittances and gross regional domestic product on the level of community welfare as seen from the value of public consumption in Tulungagung. This study is of a descriptive quantitative type, using multiple linear regression analysis and data used in the form of secondary data on remittances, ADHK GDP, and community consumption value in Tulungagung obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Tulungagung. The results showed that the Remitan variable had a partially significant positive effect on the level of community welfare in Tulungagung district with a T-count value < T-table (6,480 > 1,672) and a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) variable has a significant positive effect on the community welfare in Tulungagung Regency with a T-count value > T-table (3.267 > 1,672) and a significant 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, remittances and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the level of community welfare in Tulungagung Regency with an F-count value > F-table (38,993 > 3,16) with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

The level of welfare is a very important thing considering that welfare is a measuring point for the progress of a society that is in a prosperous condition. This research aims to determine the effect of public sector investment in education and health on the level of welfare in Tulungagung district in 2008-2022. This research is descriptive quantitative, using multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that the T count for the education level variable (X1) is 6.033 while the T table is 1.782 so that the T count < T table (6.033 > 1.782). So, the level of education has a positive and significant effect on the level of community welfare. T count for the health level variable (X2) is 5.622 while T table is 1.782 so T-count > T-table (5.622 > 1.782). So, the level of health has a positive and significant effect on the level of community welfare and together the variables level of education (X1) and level of health (X2) have an effect on the level of welfare in Tulungagung Regency (Y).
