Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the forms of language errors in the interaction of learning Indonesian in class X MIPA 1 students of SMAN 1 Bantaeng (2) the factors that influence language errors in the interaction of learning Indonesian in class X MIPA 1 SMAN 1 Bantaeng. The subjects of this study were all 36 students of class X at SMAN 1 Bantaeng. The objects in this study were pronunciation, diction, and sentence structure errors in group discussions about short story reading. Collecting data in this study using observation techniques, recording techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that 52 sentences containing errors were found, namely (1) 30 pronunciation errors due to the influence of the Makassar dialect, namely phoneme changes, phoneme omissions, and phoneme additions, (2) 8 diction errors due to inadequate word selection. correct, and (3) sentence structure errors totaling 14 errors caused by limited vocabulary in delivering good and correct sentences. It is hoped that the results of this study will provide feedback to students, Indonesian language teachers, schools, other researchers, language users and related parties.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the process of using film media on students listening abilities and to describe the results of improving students listening abilities. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this research were 35 students of class XI MIPA 2 SMAN 7 Wajo. The design in this research is that there are four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The data analysis technique used in the research is qualitative descriptive analysis and the results are analysed quantitatively. This research was carried out in 2 cycles, the results of the cycle I of research were 5 students who achieved completeness with a percentage of 14.2%, students who hed not yet achieved completenesss totalled 30 students with a percentage of 85.7%. while in cycle II there were 26 students who achieved completeness with a percentage of 74.6% and there were 9 students who had not achieved completeness with a percentage of 25.1%. The findings in this research are that the use of film media can improve students listening skills in class XI Indonesia Languange SMA Negeri 7 Wajo. Its was concluded that the listening skills using film media for class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 7 Wajo were declared successful.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the language politeness of students towards teachers and students towards students in the learning process. This analysis is shown from the form of polite language used and applying the principles of polite language. Qualitative descriptive research methods were used to answer this research. Techniques for collecting data include note-taking, observation, interviews and documentation. The research population is the language events of students and students to teachers and students to students in the Indonesian language teaching and learning process. Data analysis in this research uses qualitative descriptive analysis methods. The results of the research show that the forms of language politeness in student-to-teacher and student-to-student interactions are (1) declarative sentences complying with the maxims of wisdom, respect and consensus; (2) interrogative sentences obey the maxim of wisdom, and are appreciated; (3) imperative sentences obey the maxims of wisdom; (4) exclamative sentences obey the maxims of wisdom.
