Abstract

This study aims to analyze the acceleration of academic supervision of madrasa principals in improving the quality of learning at several Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN)  in Aceh Jaya Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type in understanding the meaning behind the phenomenon of the acceleration of the madrasa principals academic supervision in the learning process. Methods of collecting data were carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires and document studies. The data analysis technique uses data triangulation theory by utilizing data sources from document studies, observations, interviews and questionnaires related to the acceleration of the madrasa principal academic supervision and the quality of learning. The results showed that: 1) the form of the acceleration of the madrasa principal academic supervision at MIN in Aceh Jaya Regency was carried out individually and in groups. 2) the acceleration of academic supervision has not been carried out properly by the madrasa principals, starting from the planning stage of the academic supervision program to the stage of implementing academic supervision, and the stages of evaluating and following up on the results of supervision. 3) the quality of learning carried out by classroom teachers has been classified as good, this can be seen from the aspect of readiness and seriousness in preparing learning tools, implementing learning activities and evaluating / assessing learning activities. The implication of less optimal acceleration of academic supervision can result in less optimal quality of learning processes and outcomes. These findings can be recommended to the head of the Regency/City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office and madrasa supervisors to carry out programmatic guidance and training for madrasa principals on the implementation of academic supervision in madrasas.

Abstract

Dalam fragmentasi pendidikan Islam, salah satu hal yang menarik untuk disorot dan dianalisa adalah kebijakan tentang transformasi atau konversi institut menjadi universitas, spesifiknya konversi IAIN menjadi UIN. Karena itu, untuk mengetahui dan memahami serta menganalisis kebijakan konversi IAIN menjadi UIN dan dinamika yang menyertainya, makalah singkat ini berusaha untuk mendeskripsikan latar belakang, urgensitas dan rasionalitas konversi dan tranformasi IAIN; mengungkap kekhawatiran yang timbul dan permasalahan yang ada sebagai dampak dari konversi IAIN menjadi UIN; dan menganalisa ide konversi tersebut untuk mengkritisi segi-segi kelebihan dan kekurangannya serta untuk mengajukan alternatif pemecahannya yang dapat dijadikan sebagai saran dan rekomendasi; berdasarkan faktor-faktor utama yang memengaruhinya dan juga berdasarkan analisis SWOT.

Abstract

Wali kelas merupakan sosok yang amat berpengaruh dalam upaya meningkatkan minat membaca siswa. Karena wali kelas pihak yang paling dekat dengan siswa di madrasah yang selalu membimbing, memantau, dan memotivasi untuk belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya wali kelas dalam meningkatkan minat membaca siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan tiga orang wali kelas. Teknik pengambilan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa upaya wali kelas dalam peningkatan minat membaca ditempuh dengan memotivasi belajar siswa. Siswa didorong untuk membaca dengan meminjam buku di perpustakaan . Selain itu dalam pembelajaran berlangsung guru juga meminta siswa untuk membaca satu persatu agar siswa mampu menanggapi materi yang diberikan oleh guru. Guru juga melakukan koordinasi dengan para orang tua dalam rangka meningkatkan minat baca siswa. Koordinasi dilakukan dengan cara menanyakan pelaksanaan pembimbingan siswa di rumah dan menanyakan pengontrolan perilaku membaca anak oleh orang tua di rumah.

Abstract

One of the dominant factors in increasing lecturer performance is the compensation they receive. Performance or work performance of lecturers is the result achieved by a lecturer in carrying out the tasks assigned to him based on skills, experience, and seriousness as well as responsibility and use of time. This research is a field research (field Research), with the research subject is STAIN Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh lecturer. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, while data analysis techniques using linearity test techniques using SPSS for windows version 20. The results showed that the significance value (Sig) of the output above obtained a Deviation from Linearity Sig value of 0.488 or greater than 0.05 and the F value of the output above was 0.938 (Fcount) or smaller than 4.18 (Ftable). Because the Deviation from Linearity Sig value and the Fcount value are smaller than Ftable, it can be concluded that there is a significant linear relationship between compensation and the performance of STAIN Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh.

Abstract

This article describes the creation and movement of action plans for the work culture of religious-based educational organizations. The working culture of religious educational organizations is determined by the elements heart (qalbu), mind (aql) and passion. Heart (qalbu) controls the quality of academic and non-academic services supported by emotional intelligence, spirituality, and noble personality. Mind (aql) controls the quality of graduate results as educational production supported by intellectual, humanitarian, argumentative and rational intelligence. Passion controls the potential for good and bad quality of service results and educational products supported by mind (aql) and heart (qalbu). This study uses a qualitative library research method with a phenomenological approach in analyzing the factual conditions of educational organizations. The data analysis technique is by reviewing various relevant literatures with the focus of the problem being discussed. The results showed that the work culture of religious educational organizations was built up and further developed by creating a work culture by changing the way of thinking of working with the heart (qalbu), the perception of working with mind and heart (qalbu) and shaping work behavior to preventive, corrective and curative way. Then make an action plan movement on work culture by accelerating internalization of the values of work culture, working all day and all the time, effectively communicating, smoothly coordinating between areas and organizational units, and meticulous in monitoring and evaluating.
