This study examines the growth rate and contribution of parking retribution to the Regional Original Income (PAD) of Makassar City from 2021 to 2023. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, the research analyzes parking retribution receipts over the three-year period and calculates both the growth rate and the contribution of parking fees to the total PAD. The findings reveal a consistent growth in parking retribution, with an average growth rate of 5.34%. However, the contribution to PAD remains relatively small, reaching only 1.00% in 2023. The study suggests that while parking retribution plays an increasingly significant role in the city's revenue, further improvements in parking infrastructure, enforcement, and smart parking technology are needed to optimize this revenue source.
