Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to remediate students’ errors in solving ideal gas problems using Learning Together method assisted by Student Worksheet among students in Junior High School 1 Sekayam. Pre-experimental desing was choosen as the method in this research, using intact group method, 28 students from class XI IPA 2 academic year 2013/2014 was chosen to participate in the one group pretest-posttest design. McNemar and Chi Quadrat test showed that there was a significant decline in the number of students who experience mathematical errors (36,42%), physics errors (31,42%) and conception errors (21,42%). It is sugested for further study to conduct an alternative remediation activity in order to improve these results. Keywords: errors in solving problems, Learning Together Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meremediasi kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal gas ideal dengan menggunakan metode Learning Together berbantuan LKS. Pre-experimental design merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan rancangan one-group pretest-posttest melibatkan 28 siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sekayam tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik intact group. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadi penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami kesalahan matematis sebesar 36,42%, kesalahan fisis sebesar 31,42% dan kesalahan memahami konsep sebesar 21,42%. Hasil uji McNemar dan uji   Chi Kuadrat memperlihatkan adanya perubahan yang signifikan terhadap jumlah siswa yang mengalami kesalahan dalam  menyelesaikan soal gas ideal. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to investigate the application of using the guided cooperative model, talking chip type in parabolic motion material. The method of the research is pre-experimental by one-group pre-test-post test design. This reserach involves 31 students of eleventh grade of science class that are chosen by intact group technique.the analysis result of data shows a decrease of students’ misconception percentage in average for 35,1%. Statistical test which is used is Mc Nemar, it is gainedx2tabel (3,84)  <x2test (8,34) for db = 1 so that there is a significant change in students’ misconception. the calculation of Proportion value (∆S) is gained for 0,34 and according to criteria, proportion value in range 0,31-0,70, the effectiveness is considered moderate. this research is expected to be an alternative way to conduct a remediation to overcome students’ misconception on parabolic motion   Keywords: Cooperative, talking chips, remediation, misconception. Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas remediasi menggunakan model kooperatif tipe kancing gemerincing pada materi gerak parabola. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-experimental dengan rancangan One Group Pre-test Post-test.Penelitian ini melibatkan 31 siswa kelas XI IPA yang dipilih secara acak menggunakan teknik intact group.Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terjadi penurunan rata-rata persentase miskonsepsi siswa sebesar 35,1%. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Mc Nemar diperoleh x2tabel (3,84)  <x2hitung (8,34) untuk db = 1 sehingga terjadi perubahan konsepsi siswa yang signifikan. Perhitungan harga proposi (∆S)diperoleh sebesar 0,34dan berdasarkan kriteria harga proporsiyaitu 0,31-0,70 efektivitasnya sedang. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan alternatif bagi guru dalam melaksanakan remediasi untuk mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi gerak parabola.   Kata kunci: Kooperatif,kancing gemerincing,remediasi, miskonsepsi.

Abstract

Abstract: Secondary analysis methode was used to analyze the student worksheets used by physic education students of Tanjungpura University in their thesis titled about remediation students’ misconception in period 2010-2012. It was analyzed whether it fullfilled the structure criterias, dicdactic, construction, technical requirements or not, and was the purpose of study suitable already. 20 student worksheets from seven thesises were used as sample. For structure criterias, the highest number  fulfilled was nine criterias, did by two student worksheets. Three dicdactic requirements were fulfilled by 19 student worksheets. The highest number of construction requirements fulfilled was eight requirements, did by four student worksheets.  Six technical requirements were fulfilled by nine student worksheets. Three student worksheets have unsuitable purpose of study. While arranging student worksheets to remediate students’ misconceptions , it contains student cognitive conflict. Researchers have to know the right criterias to arrange the student worksheets for research instrument. Keywords: Secondary Analysis, Student Worksheet, Remediation Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis apakah lembar kerja siswa pada skripsi mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Fisika FKIP UNTAN tentang remediasi miskonsepsi pada pada periode 2010–2012 telah memenuhi karakteristik standar yang berlaku. Khususnya mengetahui banyak karakteristik LKS yang terpenuhi dari segi struktur, syarat didaktik, konstruktis dan teknis, serta kesesuaian tujuan pembelajaran dalam LKS. 20 LKS dari tujuh skripsi digunakan sebagai sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode secondary analysis tipe supplementary analysis dengan langkah penelusuran literatur. Dari 13 kriteria struktur LKS, sembilan kriteria dipenuhi dua LKS. Dari tiga kriteria syarat didaktik, semua kriteria dipenuhi oleh 19 LKS. Dari sembilan syarat konstruksi,  delapan kriteria dipenuhi oleh empat LKS, dan dari enam syarat teknis, semua kriteria dipenuhi oleh sembilan LKS. Ditemukan tiga LKS mencantumkan tujuan pembelajaran yang tidak sesuai. Dalam LKS untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa diperlukan konflik kognitif. Peneliti berikutnya perlu mengetahui kriteria LKS yang benar, apabila akan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berbentuk LKS. Kata Kunci: Secondary Analysis, Lembar Kerja Siswa, Remediasi

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of remediation using the model type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) assisted by Student Worksheet (LKS) in overcoming the misconception of students at Regular Straight Motion (GLB) in grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Segedong Regency Pontianak. The form of research design used was pre-experimental design by using the draft of one-group pretest-posttest design. The number of research sample is 30 students. The result of data analysis shows that the average percentage of the reduction in number of students misconception is 55,54% (classified medium). The result of t-test analysis obtained tcount (13,25) > ttable (2,04). This shows that remediation misconception using the model type NHT assisted by LKS is significantly affecting the differences in the ability of students to solve problem. According to Barometer of Hattie, the effectiveness level of the model type NHT assisted by LKS to overcome the misconception of students is classified high in the amount of 3,2. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain pre-eksperimen (pre-experimental design) dengan rancangan one-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 30 orang siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa yaitu sebesar 55,54% (tergolong sedang). Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t didapatkan thitung (13,25) > ttabel (2,04). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa remediasi miskonsepsi menggunakan model tipe NHT berbantuan LKS berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perbedaan kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan masalah. Menurut Barometer Hattie, tingkat efektivitas model tipe NHT berbantuan LKS untuk mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa tergolong tinggi yaitu sebesar 3,2. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectivity of remediation using the feedback form brochures to overcome the learning difficulty of students of uniformly accelerated motion (GLBB) in the class of SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Pinyuh Pontianak regency academic year 2012/2013 and determine the relationship between students ability to understand the concept of the the ability of student,s to solve problems after remediation. The research method used Pre Experimental Design with One-Group Pretest-posttest design. A total of 25 seventh grade students participated in this study. The data analyst show results feedback using the effective brochure remediate learning difficultiy of students with ES = 3.6 is high and there is a significant relationship between students ability to understand the concept of the students ability to problem solving (? = 0.955; ? = 5%, N = 25, ? table 0.409). Keyword: Remediation, Learning Difficulties, Brosure, Efectivity Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas remediasi bentuk umpan balik menggunakan brosur untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa tentang gerak lurus berubah beraturan (GLBB) di kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Pinyuh Kabupaten Pontianak tahun ajaran 2012/2013 dan mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep dengan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah setelah remediasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Pre Eksperimen Design dengan One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Sebanyak 25 siswa kelas VII berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa umpan balik menggunakan brosur efektif dalam meremediasi kesulitan belajar siswa dengan Es=3,6 tergolong tinggi dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan siswa dalam memahami konsep dengan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah ( = 0,955; = 5%, N= 25, tabel 0,409). Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of remediation reduction problem solving error on the material in the straight motion of SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak by used learning basic repetition of mathematics assisted booklet. The form of research is pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. This study involved 32 students of class VIII taken with intact group technique. Instrument of research in the form of 2 test description that is test of basic ability of mathematics and test of problem solving problem of student in matter of straight motion. The result of basic mathematics skill analysis during pretest shows the basic ability of mathematics that most controlled by the students is the addition and subtraction operation of integer (65,62%), while the basic ability of mathematics which is difficult to be mastered is change the mathematics equation (10,94%). However, when the posttest obtained the highest improvement of basic mathematical ability on the indicator change the mathematical equation by 32.81%. The decrease of problem solving problem of students on the straight motion material based on the calculation obtained by decrease of 57,63% for each learner, and decrease of error of each indicator equal to 57,32%, with decrease of the lowest error that is at counting operation error (45,06%) . From the calculation of the price of the proportion of the decline in the number of student error obtained 57.73% results and based on the criteria of interpretation effectiveness score by Riduan, the level of effectiveness of basic math skills in reducing the number of errors in the completion of the problem of straight motion including enough category. The results of the study are expected to be an alternative in efforts to remedy the problem solving problems experienced by learners.Keywords : Remediation, basic ability of mathematics, reduction of physics problem solving, straight motion.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas model Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa tentang keseimbangan benda tegar di SMA K Immanuel Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian berupa “Pre-Experimental Design” dengan rancangan “One Group Pretest-Post test Design”. Alat pengumpul data berupa tes pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari tiga alternatif pilihan dengan alasan terbuka. Penelitian ini melibatkan 70 siswa XI IPA yang miskonsepsi. Dari hasil analisis, remediasi dengan model PBL signifikan menurunkan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa dengan zhitung = -7,246 (α = 5%), berpengaruh pada perubahan konseptual siswa, dengan nilai X2hitung > X2tabel (α = 5%) pada tiap butir soal, dan efektif mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa dengan nilai ES= 3,26 (berkategori tinggi). Penelitian ini diharapkan sebagai alternatif guru dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa tentang keseimbangan benda tegar.   Kata Kunci: Remediasi, Miskonsepsi, Keseimbangan Benda Tegar Abstract: This research is aimed to determine the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to remediate the student’s misconception about balance of rigid body in SMA K Immanuel Pontianak. This research design is “Pre-Experimental Design” with “One Group Pretest-Post test Design”. The instrument of data collector by using a multiple choices test consisting of three alternative choices with open reasons. This research involved 70 students of class XI IPA who had misconception. From the analysis result, remediation using PBL model significantly decrease number of student’s misconception with zcount = -7,246 (α = 5%), influential to student’s conceptual change by X2count > X2table (α = 5%) for each question item, and effective to overcome the student’s misconception (ES = 3,26, high category). This research hopefully to be used by teacher to remediate student’s misconception about balance of rigid body.    Keywords: Remediation, Misconception, Balance of Rigid Body

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi siswa kelas X SMA negeri 1 Teluk Batang tentang Kalor dan Perpindahannya setelah proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif sederhana tanpa kelompok pembanding dengan bentuk survey. Pengumpulan data mengunakan tiga sampel, yaitu kelas: XA, XB, XC (83 siswa) yang dipilih secara intact group menggunakan tes diagnostik, berupa tes pilihan ganda dengan alasan. Tes di validasi dengan validasi isi, dan reabilitasnya diuji dengan teknik internal consistency mengunakan rumus KR 20. Analisis kualitatif pada hasil tes menunjukkan rata-rata 63,24% siswa mengalami miskonsepsi tentang kalor dan perpindahannya. Miskonsepsi tersebut tersebar dari 7 konsep kalor dan perpindahannya. Kata kunci: Miskonsepsi, Kalor dan Perpindahan. Abstrak: This research aims to know students’ misconception in grade X SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Batang about heat and transfer of heat after teaching and learning process. Simple descriptive without comparison groups in survey form is used in this research. Data collecting uses three samples, XA class, XB class and XC class (83 students), that are chosen by using intact group through diagnostic test that consists of multiple choices with reason test. Test is validated with content validity, and its reliability is tested by internal consistency technique using KR-20 formula. Qualitative analysis in the test result shows that 63,24% students experience heat and transfer of heat misconceptions. These misconceptions are the result of 7 concepts heat and the transfer of heat.   Keywords: Misconception, Heat and Transfer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam pembiasan cahaya pada lensa terhadap hasil belajar siswa di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Ketapang. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasy Experiment, dengan rancangan Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol dan VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah sebesar 26,75 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional yaitu 20,65. Dari uji U Mann Whitney diketahui Zhitung = -3,97 sedangkan Ztabel = -1,96, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol pada taraf 5%. Nilai Effect Size yaitu 1,40 atau tergolong tinggi dan jika dilihat dari standar kurva normal, maka pembelajaran berbasis masalah memberikan kontribusi sebesar 41,92% terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci : model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, pembiasan cahaya pada lensa, hasil belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Macromedia Flash Pro 8 on business materials and simple machines on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. The form of this research is a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques used measurement techniques, carried out by collecting test results given before and before treatment (treatment). Data analysis was carried out with the help of SPSS for descriptive analysis and Wilcoxon test, then effect size analysis. The results showed that (1) the students' learning outcomes at the pretest were 7.44 and increased by 1.2 after treatment to 8.64 at the posttest. (2) Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test showed a p value (Asymp. Sig 2) of 0.001 which was smaller than the threshold of 0.05 (p 0.05) this indicates that there is a difference between pretest and posttest so that it can conclude the use of macromedia flash pro 8 has an effect on student learning outcomes. (3) The use of macromedia flash pro 8 is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Based on the calculation of the effect size, Cohen's obtained an effect size value of 0.91 which is included in the high category. So that the results of this study are expected to be a consideration for schools and teachers in choosing effective learning media to improve student learning outcomes.
