Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the using of mind maps as an instrument for evaluating the learning outcomes of VII grade students about heat concept and its displacement in SMP Negeri 1 Tumbang Titi. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is the type of this research. The subjects of this research were VII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tumbang Titi. 32 students of VII B as the samples. The data collected in this study are students' ability in making mind maps, student learning outcomes that evaluated by mind maps, and the implementation of learning assignments to make mind maps. The results showed that mind maps can be used as instruments for assessing student learning outcomes. Students? ability in making mind maps of the first cycle were 78% excellent category and 22% (enough categories), while the second cycle were 93% (good category) and 7% (enough categories). Students? learning outcomes in the first cycle were 78% complete and 22% were incomplete. 87.5% of students in the cycle II were complete and 12.5% were incomplete. The implementation of instructional learning makes mind maps of the first cycle of 81% and the second cycle of 100%. Based on the results of this study, mind map assignment are expected as an instrument for assessing student learning outcomes. Keywords: Assignments, Heat and Diplacement, Instrument Assessment, Mind Map

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research to improved physics result learning on the subject of besiness to the Tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Anjongan was used to Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) model. From of this research was pre-experimental in the from one-group pretest-post test design. This technique was used simple random sampling which consist 30 students. The technique of data collection were observation technique and measurement by measuring tools in from of the result of leaning test. The result of Wilcoxon test showed there was an increase in students learning result with  was obtained Sig p of . It showed that the treatment CTL was effective to improved students learning result. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to study the use of Discovery Learning Model to overcome students’ misconception in Archimedes’ Principle subject in SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak academic year 2019/2020. The method used in this research was Pre-Experimental Design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. Logical reasoning mutiple choice questions were used as for data collection tool. Along with it, this research involved 25 students in Class IX C as the samples. They were chosen with “intact group” technique, a sampling method which intactly gains sample data according to population. Students’ profile of misconception after being given remedy happened to decrease into 3 concepts. Out of 25 students that took the remedy, the percentage of students’ with misconception in all indicators decreased by 67%. The result of calculation with McNemar Test shows 25,29 of X2 counted in all indicators then X2counted > X2 table so there is a significant conceptual changes in all the indicators. Therefore, hopefully teachers could use this research as an alternative to overcome students’ misconception in Archimedes’ Principle material.  Keywords : Discovery Learning,  Misconception,  Remediation

Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted to obtain the influence of the use of a model reasoning and the problem solving of experimentation and a simulation of misconception fall in the number of students. Methods used in this research is experimental design quasi non-equivalent design goes next to the control group. Sample be conducted by way of intact group (group intact). Data collection was carried out by giving shaped double test choice reason closed consisting of 9. Based on the research done, the average of the percentage of misconception, the number of students on class experiment of 38,09 % and in a class of 27,78 %. Then, with the significance of 5 % obtained x hitung = 4,99 and x tabel = 5,99 , this shows that there is no significant influence model reasoning and the use of solving the problem of experiment and the use of models and simulation of reasoning problem solving. One of the effectiveness of from the study is 56,79 for the class experimentation and 41,90 for the class simulation calculated use of DQM (Decreasing Quantity Misconception). The outcome of the findings from the study expected can be used as assessments to help the teacher's physics overcome their mistakes students in overcoming the misconception of students in particular to the matter heat engine and change form substance. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas simulasi flash untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi pemantulan cahaya di SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pre-experimental design tipe one group pre-test post-test design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A berjumlah 31 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik intact grup. Alat pengumpul data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes diagnostik berupa pilihan ganda yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik Certainty of Response Index termodifikasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terjadi penurunan miskonsepsi sebesar 23,04%. Dari perhitungan effect size Cohen’s d diperoleh d =1,156 (kategori tinggi). Perhitungan effect size untuk indikator soal dihitung dengan rumus harga proporsi, diperoleh 5 indikator soal mempunyai efektivitas tinggi, 1 indikator soal mempunyai efektivitas sedang, dan 1 indikator soal tidak efektif. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa simulasi flash efektif digunakan dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi pemantulan cahaya. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu guru untuk mengurangi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi pelajaran fisika. Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, Pemantulan Cahaya, Simulasi Flash Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of flash simulation to remedied students misconceptions on light reflection in grade VIII SMP Negeri 20 Pontianak. The method of this study was a pre-experimental design by used one group pre-test post-test design. The study sample were 31 students of VIII A grade have chosen by intact group technique. The technique of data collection was multiple choice of diacnostic test by used modification Certainty of Response Index analysis. The result of analysis showed that misconceptions were 23,04% falling. The result of the cohen’s d effect size  calculation was 1,156 (high category). Effect size calculation of test indicator calculated by proportion value; 5 test indicator had high effectiveness, 1 test indicator had medium effectiveness, and 1 test indicator was not effective. It showed that flash simulation was effective for remedied student misconception of light reflection. This study expected to support teachers to reduced the student misconceptions of physics lesson subject. Keywords: Misconceptions, Light Reflection, Flash Simulation

Abstract

AbtrakThis study aim to analysis about students error the solved line motion question physic at SMK Negeri 02 Pontianak. The from of this research was a suruey methed. The participant of this research consist of 32 students thet selected with purposive sampling technigue. In this research, the researcher were used essay test which consested of 5 guestion to measure students errors in filling out the guestion. Obtained of students errors in filling out the guestion in material rectilinear motion was 75,782% and the percentege of students  ruis under standing was 85,417%. To find out the relationship both were used the product moment corelation. The result showed that found a negatiut relationship means that it the variable (x = 5,705406) hasincreased then the variable (y = 2,042) has decreased with a correlation coefficient -0,87 strong/hias category. The relationship between the two was significart that is t count > t table tabel = 5,705406 > 2,042, with a significant level 5% and dk = 30. The result of this research was the teacher expected to pay attentron to the students skills, so that can improved in the learning procest.Keywords : Students Errors In Filling Out The Guestion, Rectilinear Motion.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to find out the correlation between mathematical communication ability and the students ability to solve linear motion problem. The instrument  was an essay test which consists of 10 items. To measure mathematical communication ability amount to 5 items and to measure students’ ability to solve linear motion problem amount to 5 items. Intact group selected 32 students of SMP Negeri 1 Pontianak as research samples. Correlative analysis product moment and  significant coefficient correlation used  as data analysis techniques. The results of the analysis showed that  correlation score is 0,4917 and t hitung>ttabel= 3,0931>2,069. Based on the results of the analysis that there is a significant correlation between ability to mathematical communication and the ability to solve linear motion problem. Hoped that this research will be used as a benchmark by science teachers, to further improve students' mathematical communication ability in accordance with the purpose curriculum 2013. Keywords: Linear Motion, Mathematical Communication, Significance Test

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas model picture and picture berbantuan guided note taking dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa tentang pembentukan bayangan di kelas X SMA Panca Bhakti Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini pre-eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Tes berupa Three-Tier Diagnostic Test berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan tiga komponen penyusun yaitu, pilihan jawaban dari soal, pilihan alasan memilih jawaban dan tingkat keyakinan siswa terhadap jawaban. Rata-rata miskonsepsi siswa sebelum diberikan remediasi sebesar 48,1% dan setelah diberikan remediasi turun sebesar 27,7%. Materi pembentukan bayangan pada cermin untuk semua konsep, hasil uji Mc Nemar menunjukkan perubahan jumlah miskonsepsi yang signifikan (  <    ). Rata-rata efektivitas penggunaan model picture and picture berbantuan guided note taking untuk tiga konsep pembentukan bayangan pada cermin 0,43 (tergolong sedang). Model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan guided note taking diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif kegiatan remediasi bagi siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi agar dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dan mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa. Kata Kunci:  Remediasi, Miskonsepsi, Picture and Picture, Guided Note Taking, Pembentukan Bayangan pada Cermin   Abstract: The aim of this research is to test the effectiveness of picture and picture model assisted by guided note taking to remediate students’ misconception about the role of primary rays concept of tenth grade. The concept test is named as pre-experimental which is design in one group pretest-posttest. The concept test is consisting three-tier, students are supposed to select correct choice out of three, write their reasoning and select the level of certainty. The percentage of students’ misconception before have remedial courses is 48.1% and after have given the treatment the percentage is reduce as 27.7%. Students’ conceptual change about role of primary rays concept showed by Mc Nemar value as (  <  ). The effect size was measured by finger segments principal, the concepts was about the role of primary rays on plan mirror, convex mirror, and concave mirror. The percentages of three concept mentioned is 0.43 (medium categories). Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to decrease elementary school student?s misconception about light using clinical interview in mother tongue. Purposive sampling was used in this research that involvied 22 students as sample. They are respectively divided into three level of knowledge such as high, middle, and low knowledge category based on teacher recommendations referring to study achievement of students. The instrument that used is multiple choice with three alternative option, and clinical interview guidelines.  Based on McNemar test showed that there significant misconception change with  >  with df=1 and ?= 5%.  Clinical interview in mother tongue can used as alternative to decrease student?s misconception about light. Keywords: clinical interview, decreasing misconception, light.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diberi explicit corrective feedback dengan siswa yang diberi implicit corrective feedback pada tugas pekerjaan rumah terhadap hasil belajar materi fluida dinamis kelas XI MIA SMA Mujadihin Pontianak. Rancangan penelitian ini berupa quasi-experimental design dengan jenis pretest-posttest control group design. Sebanyak 41 siswa berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini yang terdiri dari 20 siswa dari kelas XI MIA1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 21 siswa dari kelas XI MIA2 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data diuji secara statistik menggunakan uji-t untuk kasus dua kelompok yang saling bebas. Hasil analisis secara statistik menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelompok yang diberi explicit corrective feedback dengan kelompok yang diberi implicit corrective feedback. Namun, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kelompok yang explicit corrective feedback memiliki kemampuan menganalisis soal yang lebih dibandingkan kelompok yang diberi implicit corrective feedback.   Kata Kunci: Explicit Corrective Feedback, Pekerjaan Rumah   Abstract: The aim of this research was to determine the differences learning result between students who were given explicit corrective feedback with students who were given implicit corrective feedback on homework assignment against learning result in dynamic fluid grade XI SMA Mujahidin Pontianak. The form of this research was quasi-experimental design with research design was used pretest-posttest control group design. 41 students were participated in this research, 20 students of XI MIA1 class as an experiment group and 21 students of XI MIA2 class as a control group. The data was analyses statistically used to t-test independent group. Statistically, the result shown that no significantly differences between the group was given explicit corrective feedback with implicit corrective feedback. But, the result shown that an experiment group was given explicit corrective feedback have analyses skill higher than control group. Keyword:  Explicit Corrective Feedback, Homework
