Abstract

Proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan gerak animasi 3D dalam serial animasi Little Ammar Season 04 Episode 01–09, yang ditujukan untuk anak-anak usia 1–9 tahun. Serial inimengusung nilai-nilai edukatif dan Islami yang disampaikanmelalui visualisasi yang menarik dan ramah anak. Metode yang digunakan dalam proyek ini adalah pipeline produksi animasiyang terdiri dari tahapan pra-produksi, produksi, dan pasca-produksi. Tahapan animasi mencakup teknik blocking, spline, dan polishing, dengan pendekatan pose to pose untukmemastikan kualitas gerak dan ekspresi karakter yang sesuaidengan alur cerita. Proyek ini menggunakan perangkat lunakBlender 3D dengan render engine Cycles dan resolusi Full HD 1920x1080 piksel. Evaluasi teknis menunjukkan bahwa animasiberhasil menyampaikan pesan secara efektif dengan kualitasvisual yang baik, ritme gerakan yang halus, serta karakter yang menarik dan konsisten. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa penerapananimasi 3D dapat meningkatkan daya tarik dan efektivitas pesandalam serial anak-anak. Proyek ini diharapkan dapat menjadireferensi teknis dan artistik dalam pengembangan animasiedukatif di industri kreatif Indonesia.

Abstract

Laporan tugas akhir ini membahas proses perancangan Lighting dan Rendering dalam produksi video animasi 3D berjudul “Lala dan Penjaga Hijau”. Animasi ini bertujuan untuk menyampaikan pesan mengenai pentingnya peduli terhadap lingkungan. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Pipeline, yang mencangkup tahapan Pra-produksi, produksi dan pasca-produksi untuk memastikan alur kerja yang efisien dan terstruktur. Pada penerapan Lighting, teknik three point lighting dipakai untuk menciptakan pencahayaan yang seimbang dan tiga dimensi pada subjek, sehingga subjek terlihat menonjol dan tidak datar serta membantu mengontrol bayangan dan kontras untuk memberikan fleksibilitas dalam suasana yang di inginkan. Sedangkan pada tahap Rendering yang digunakan adalah render cycle untuk menghasilkan gambar atau video berkualitas tinggi yang realistis dengan menyimulasikan bagaimana cahaya berinteraksi dengan objek dalam sebuah adegan. Proses ini didukung oleh penggunaan perangkat lunak Blender 3.6. Hasil akhir menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode dan teknik tersebut mampu menghasilkan Lighting dan Rendering yang mampu mendukung suasana dan emosi pada cerita secara optimal. Laporan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pembaca yang ingin mengetahui bidang animasi, khususnya dalam tahapan perancangan visual.

Abstract

The study purpose was to explore the application of 2D motion graphic animation in the educational animation series "Sirah Nabawiyah," produced by Studio Piapi, aiming to enhance public understanding of the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad SAW and to share practical experience in motion graphic animation as a learning resource for aspiring animators. Materials and methods involved a combination of creative design and animation techniques using 2D motion graphic tools, focusing on integrating graphic elements, text, and audio to create dynamic and engaging visual narratives. The study also involved reflection on the animator’s professional experience in the production process of the series. Results demonstrated that 2D motion graphic animation is effective in visualizing complex Islamic historical concepts simply and attractively, making the content accessible and educational for children and the wider community. The medium proved beneficial not only for communication but also for artistic expression aligned with cultural and religious values. Conclusions indicate that 2D motion graphic animation is a suitable and impactful media format for religious educational content like "Sirah Nabawiyah." It supports enhanced learning engagement, encourages value internalization, and offers a practical platform for training future motion graphic animators.

Abstract

The study purpose was to analyze the implementation of digital storyboarding in translating the script of Sirah Nabawiyah Episode 1 into a storyboard, focusing on the visual conformity with the script. Animation has rapidly evolved as a creative industry medium that combines audio and visual elements, playing a significant role not only as entertainment but also as an educational tool across various age groups. This study highlights the special challenges of Islamic historical animation, which requires visual appeal alongside historical accuracy and adherence to Islamic representation guidelines. The pre-production phase, especially storyboard creation, is critical in minimizing production errors and costs. Sirah Nabawiyah, a collaborative animated series between Durioo and Piapi Studio, targets children aged 6-12 years and aims to present the history of Prophet Muhammad SAW with simple visuals and narrative styles accessible to young audiences. Materials and methods involved the use of digital storyboarding techniques to transform the written script into comprehensive visual guides, determining effective shot composition and smooth narrative flow. Adobe Photoshop was utilized as the primary software tool. The process facilitated technical collaboration across teams while ensuring adherence to client guidelines established during the conceptual stage. Results demonstrated a high level of visual consistency with the script, with the storyboard effectively conveying moral and historical messages tailored for children. The use of digital storyboarding improved workflow efficiency and accuracy, producing outputs that meet technical standards and narrative requirements. Conclusions indicate that digital storyboarding is an effective method for producing Islamic educational animation, ensuring continuity between script, storyboard, and animatic stages while maintaining visual and technical quality.
