Abstract

Breastfeeding is one of the first steps for a human being to get a healthy and prosperous life. This is stated in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or sustainable development goals in 2030. However, in several developed and developing countries including Indonesia, many career mothers are not breastfeeding exclusively. The research objective was to determine the factors associated with giving formula milk to infants 0-6 months in Pangurabaan Village, Sipirok District, Tapanuli Selatan Regency in 2020. The research design was a survey analytic study with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 60 mothers who gave formula milk to babies 0-6 months in Pangurabaan Village, Sipirok District, Tapanuli Selatan Regency. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test. The results of the study were based on the frequency of mothers' knowledge that the majority of mothers' knowledge about formula milk had sufficient knowledge as many as 30 respondents (50%) and a minority of well-informed mothers were 5 respondents (8.3%), the majority of their husbands' support was poor as many as 40 respondents (66.7% ) and the minority whose husband's support was good as many as 20 respondents (33.3%), the majority of the support from the health workers was not good as many as 39 respondents (65%) and the minority whose support from the health personnel was good as many as 21 respondents (35%). The conclusion of this study shows that there is a relationship between knowledge, husband support and support from health workers with formula milk feeding for infants 0-6 months in Pangurabaan Village, Sipirok District, South Tapanuli Regency in 2020. formula in infants and can provide information to mothers who have babies 0-6 months so as not to give formula milk too early.

Abstract

Personal hygiene or personal hygiene is an act to maintain the cleanliness and health of a person for the welfare, both physical and psychological. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of the role of mothers as educators with personal hygiene actions in children in Rantau Selatan in 2020. The research design used Analytic Survey with Cross-Sectional approach. The population were mothers who had elementary school children amounted to 100 respondents. The sampling used was purposive sampling with 50 respondents. Based on the results of data analysis using the Chi-Square Test, it showed that the significant probability value (Asymp.sig) was .016 < sig-value .05, this proved that there was a relationship between the role of mothers as educators with personal hygiene actions in children in Rantau Selatan in 2020. The conclusion showed that statistically there was a relationship between the relationship of the role of mothers as educators with personal hygiene actions in children in Rantau Selatan in 2020. It is recommended for mothers to care more and increase awareness of the importance of cleanliness, especially personal, family and environmental hygiene. And for research place society should get educating more about personal hygiene performance and the environment as well as facilitating more common hygiene activities such as cleaning the gutters. family and environmental hygiene. Abstract

Profile of Medan City Health Office, anemia survey conducted in 4 districts/cities in North Sumatra, namely Medan City, Binjai, Kab. Deli Serdang, and Langkat it is known that 40.50% of women suffer from anemia. The stunting rate in 2019 was still at 27.67%. Meanwhile, based on data from the Ministry of Health's Basic Health Research, from 2013 to 2018 there was an increase in the prevalence of anemia in the 15-24 year age group, from 18.4% to 32% or 14.7 million people. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of nutrition on improving iron intake, protein and hemoglobin levels towards zero stunting in Amanah Deli Serdang Private Junior High School in 2022. This was a quantitative study, using a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students of SMP Amanah Deliserdang, the sample in this study was 28 grade 2 students. Iron intake showed that the p value = 0.015. the protein intake variable shows that the p value = 0.009, Based on the hemoglobin level variable the p value = 0.009 of the three variables shows that the p value < 0.05
