Abstract

The purpose of this research were to improve the student activities and conceptual understanding using three-stage fishbowl decision strategy in pressure subject. This research design was the pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of this research was 65 students of 8th grade that was determined by using purposive sample method. The data were collected by test, observation, and documentation. The data was analyzed by using gain test and one-tail t-test. The gain-test was obtained that the activity and students understanding of pressure concept for experimental group was increased in medium level, whereas for control group in minimum level. The one-tail t-test was obtained that the activity and students understanding of pressure concept for the experimental group were better than the control group.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in self-afficacy of students in Jambi province. The research sample was 106 students from 4 high schools. Sample selection using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is a self-afficacy questionnaire with a Likert scale type. Analysis of the data used for the prerequisite test is the normality test, to test the hypothesis using the Independent Sample T-test to determine whether or not there is a difference. Based on the results of this study, out of 5 comparisons there is 1 comparison whose results show differences in self-afficacy. The results obtained are the value of T table = 2.039 > Tcount = 1.673 with a significant level of 0.05, so that there are differences in self-afficacy in SMA X and SMA Y. Whether or not there is a difference is influenced by several factors, such as the area they live in, school status, and student background. Self-afficacy refers to a person's belief about the ability to learn or take action at a certain level.

Abstract

Interactive online learning with students first learns learning materials through the Flipped classroom learning model in learning to improve students' concept mastery skills and interpersonal intelligence in the online-based learning process. The purpose of this study measured the effectiveness of the Flipped classroom model towards the mastery of concepts and interpersonal intelligence of elementary school students. Quantitative research method type experimental quasi design with non-equivalent design one group pretest and posttest. The population of grade 5th students of SD Negeri 1, Research sample of 50 students. Research data collection techniques using test questions and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use simultaneous test and t independent sample test. The results showed an f-test of 10.87 while the table was 4.99 and the T-test showed an at-count of 8.22 while 3.4. The results of the data analysis showed significant differences in the mastery of concepts and interpersonal intelligence by using flipped classroom models in the learning process. The conclusion of this study is that applying flipped classroom model in online learning is very effective in improving the mastery of concepts and interpersonal intelligence in elementary school students with students first learning the material before learning begins.

Abstract

This research is essential for the realization of (a) the vision of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) as a conservation-minded university and (b) the character of student creativity in the global era. This research aims to develop ethno-vlog learning media based on ethno-STEM to realize the UNNES vision of conservation and student creativity. This research is a development study that uses the Thiagarajan model. The resulting product is an innovative STEM-based ethno-vlog media developed through the stages of definition, design, development, and dissemination. The research subjects are students taking ethnoscience and local wisdom courses in the Integrated Science Study Program. As a result of the research data analysis and discussion, the data obtained during the study can be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The analysis of the research data and discussion can be concluded that (a) the Ethno-vlog product has been produced by students taking Ethno-science courses and local intelligence with interesting categories; (b) the student's conservation character and creativity can be developed with the creation and learning of a STEM-based Ethno-vlog project; and (c) students' responses to the tasks of the STEM-based Ethno-vlog project are in good categories. The results of developing this ethno-vlog media can provide students with knowledge about local wisdom for science learning. Additionally, it encourages students to be more caring and actively participate in preserving culture and the environment through innovative educational methods, supporting the conservation vision of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES).
