The method of social phenomenology is seen as appropriate to describe the dimensions of poverty so that reality will be found in the "Poor Village" of the Village of Fishermen across the country. The intersection between Marxist thinking, Chambers and the phenomenological method lies in the unit of analysis. The unit of analysis in the phenomenology method lies in the subjectivity that leads to things that appear around, so that the facts presented are facts in accordance with what is felt by the subject under study. If it is associated with Marxist perspectives that talk a lot about class, which in other words there are actors or actors in the class. The state provides assistance to poor families as a solution to poverty alleviation, but in reality the assistance provided by the State preserves poverty.

The phenomenon of poverty and the trap of poverty is a social reality that cannot be understood without exploring the phenomenon itself. The focus of this dissertation study is to look at the phenomenon of poverty that occurred in Seberang Village with the subject of research is fishermen's family. The phenomenon of poverty that is reflected in the poverty trap that ensnares the society of opposite the fishing village deserves to be explored in depth. The falsity of class consciousness comes from the class position in the economic structure of society. In other words, the people of Seberang Fisherman's Village experienced a form of false consciousness, namely the form of "resignation" to poverty that occurred. The effort they did to get out of the poverty trap is still an effort to utilize the aid with additional income sufficient for mere subsistence.

Citizenship Politics in Majanggut I Village is the topic that will be discussed in this research. Maintaining the consolidation of democracy in the midst of the high level of cultural, religious and ethnic diversity is not an easy matter to implement. A political integration formula is needed to combine the demands of unity and diversity. The liberal democracy that is developing at the moment is apparently understood differently by the people in North Sumatra because it is given through a state-centric mechanism. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods. The use of fieldwork with the observation method was carried out. In addition to observation, interviews were also carried out both to the Village Government, Majanggut I, and to the village community. In addition to interviews, various kinds of documentation and literature studies were also used to strengthen the results of this study. The results showed that Majanggut I villagers' understanding of democracy is still limited to the conception of political contestation. Opportunities for locality values to be accommodated in democracy are very open, even though the values of locality in the village are fading away. The Citizenship Politics in Majanggut I Village has not placed citizens as actors of democracy itself. The people of Majanggut I village are still the objects of democracy itself. This indication can be seen from the lack of participation of the village community in the development process in the village and in the process of political development, including in the contestation of village head elections.

This research used qualitative with ethnographic approach. Techniques of collecting data were carried out by in-depth interviews, participatory observation and the oral history with 10 native speakers who had done martandang. The results show that martandang activity has changed due to technological developments and modernization, so that most of the Mandailing youth now no longer carry out this tradition. Martandang contains local wisdom values that try to regulate the way teenagers get along by recognizing each other's personalities without violating the rules or violating the norms that apply in Mandailing customs, a way to maintain the chastity of women in socializing until marriage and maintain politeness in behavior. The activities of this tradition used local expressions that can be interpreted as local wisdom values of welfare and peace. The conclusion of this study is that a revitalization model is needed that can transform the meaning and function, values and norms contained in the local wisdom of Martandang in the Mandailing generation.

In an increasingly integrated and connected era of globalization, cultural identity becomes important in maintaining the diversity and uniqueness of each human group. This research changes the traditional cultural identity of "Nyadran" in the context of the globalization era, using a contemporary anthropological perspective. "Nyadran" is a Javanese cultural tradition that is historically closely linked to local values and local community beliefs. However, along with the development of the era of globalization, this tradition has undergone a significant transformation in an effort to adapt to ever-changing global flows. Using contemporary anthropological research methods, this research involves active participation in the "Nyadran" event as well as interviews with practitioners and participants of this tradition. Data analysis reveals how local elements in "Nyadran" interact with global influences, such as technology, mass media, and changes in social values. In addition, this research explores how globalization can influence the concept of local cultural identity and how local communities react to these changes. The results of this research provide in-depth insight into the dynamics of changing cultural identity in the era of globalization, highlighting the complexity of the relationship between traditional and modern elements in the context of "Nyadran".

The objective of this research is to ascertain the influence of consumer ethnocentrism and the perceived image of a country's products on the purchasing intentions of Indonesian consumers with respect to goods originating from China. The conceptual framework of the study was formulated on the premises of ethnocentrism theory, product image perceptions, and the determinants of consumer purchase intent. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using in-depth interviews with 10 informants. The results of the study reveal that consumer ethnocentrism is attached to the purchase of domestic goods with the assumption that the goods are of high quality and have very competitive price competition with foreign goods. In Indonesia, the people already have a stigma that goods originating from China are indeed cheap. The perception of product image plays a significant role in shaping the intention to purchase imported goods from China. Indonesian enterprises have the opportunity to harness consumer ethnocentrism by designing marketing strategies that foreground nationalistic aspects, highlighting the national identity and features of domestically sold products. These strategies can be deployed as overt messages to increase the efficiency of communication or to enhance the positioning of the company's image.
