Abstract

The Consistency of condom use by the sex customers is very low. These problems occur due to the lack of negotiations carried out by the sex workers into their customers. This study aims to determine the most effective negotiation strategies for the customers to consistently using condoms. The study was conducted by using a survey cross-sectional of sex workers directly with the sample of 100 peoples, which who selected by a random cluster sampling in Denpasar city. The data collected by interviews conducted by using a questionnaire about the characteristics and modification Condom Influence Strategy Questionnaire (CISQ) developed by Noar. The results of the study show that about 63% of customers consistently used condoms in the past week. The effective negotiation strategies used so that customers consistently using condoms is deceptive by sex workers to their client's variables associated with consistent condom use is the availability of condoms and sex worker's age. Deceptive is the most effective strategy to increase consistent condom use.Keywords— Negotiations Condoms, Female Sex Workers, Consistency of Condom Use

Abstract

Introduction Temper Tantrum is an explosive and uncontrollable emotional overflow where when a child shows a negative attitude or rejection that is expressed by crying, screaming, throwing objects, rolling around until they hit. Parenting Parenting is a pattern of parental behavior in children, where parents give encouragement to children, by changing behavior, knowledge, and values ​​that are considered most appropriate for parents so that children can be independent. Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship of parenting parents to temper tantrum behavior in toddler age children in Kalibukbuk Village. Method: The research design used was correlational analytic with cross-sectional design. The sample used as many as 32 samples were selected by probability sampling technique, simple random sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Results: Data analysis showed that as many as 14 children (43.8%) had moderate tantrum temper and 13 children (40.6%) had high temper tantrum. A total of 21 people (65.6%) had a parenting pattern that tended to be authoritarian, while permissive parenting had 7 people (21.9%). Spearman rank test results obtained p value of 0.01 (<0.05) indicating the relationship between parents and temper tantrum.

Abstract

Background : Menopause is a crucial process in reproduction cyclus. One of common physical symptom in menopausal women is obesity. Post menopausel women with obesity have higher risk of arthritis diseases than normal women. Specifically about gout arthritis disease, level of uric acid more than 8 mg/dL. Objective: use to diagnoze. The purpose of this research is to determine the correlation of body mass index and uric acid level in post menopause women in public health center of Buleleng III. Method : This research used correlation analytical research by applying cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with 53 respondents who were chosen based on inclusion and exclusion criteria that have been set. Data was collected by GCU easy touch to measure uric acid level. Results :The result of Rank-Spearman test with a confidence level of 95% showed value of p = 0,001( p = 0,05). Conclusion : In conclusion, the result showed there is a significant correlation between body mass index and uric acid level in post menopause women in Public Health Center of Buleleng III.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Diabetes mellitus adalah suatu penyakit metabolik yang ditandai dengan adanya hiperglikemia yang terjadi karena pankreas tidak mampu mensekresi insulin, gangguan kerja insulin, ataupun keduanya. Stres merupakan reaksi tubuh terhadap situasi yang dapat menimbulkan tekanan maupun perubahan dan ketegangan emosi, salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi keadaan stres serta emosional penderita diabetes yaitu dengan penerimaan diri yang baik. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meneliti Hubungan Penerimaan Diri (Self-Acceptance) dengan Tingkat Stres Pada Penderita Diabetes Mellitus. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Cross Sectional. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan yaitu 82 responden dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner penerimaan diri dan kuesioner tingkat stres. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji Spearmen Rank dengan nilai signifikan α=0,05. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil nilai p value sebesar 0,000 dengan tingkat signifikan yang telah ditentukan yaitu α (0,05) maka nilai p value < 0,05 sehingga dinyatakan H0 ditolak dengan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,663 yang berarti menggambarkan hubungan negatif yang kuat. Kesimpulan: Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Hubungan Penerimaan Diri (Self-Acceptance) dengan Tingkat Stres Pada Penderita Diabetes Mellitus. Kata Kunci: Penerimaan diri, tingkat stres, diabetes mellitus Introduction: Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia that occurs because the pancreas is unable to secrete insulin, impaired insulin action, or both. Stress is the body’s reaction to situations that can cause stress as well as changes and emotional stress, one of the efforts to overcome the stressful and emotional state of people with diabetes is by good self-acceptance. Purpose:This study was conducted to examine the Correlation between Self-acceptance and the Level of Stress in Diabetes Mellitus Patients Methods: This study uses a cross sectional design. The number of samples used is 82 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The data collection tool used is a self-acceptance questionnaire and stress level questionnaire. This study uses the Spearman Rank test with a significant P value of = 0.05. Results: The results showed that the p-value was 0.000 with a predetermined significant level, namely (0.05), then the p-value <0.05, so it was stated that H0 was rejected with a correlation value of -0.663, which means that it describes a strong negative correlation. Conclusion: This shows that there is a Correlation between Self-acceptance and the Level of Stress in Diabetes Mellitus Patients. Keywords: Self-acceptance, stres level, diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Low back pain (LBP) is pain felt in the lower back area, it can be local pain or racular pain or both. Core stability is a very important exercise to maintain stability and blood balance in the spine to the pelvic bone, core stability is effective in improving the ability to maintain position and movement from the trunk to the pelvis which is useful for moving, controlling pressure and movement during activities. This study aims to determine the effect of core stability exercise on lower back pain in fish workers at Sentra of Kusamba's Boiling Place. This type of research is a pre-experimental with a pre-post test one group design, the test used Wilcoxon signed rank test with a Bourbonnis pain scale observation sheet research instrument. The sample in this study was 67 respondents with a non-probability sampling technique with inclusion criteria, namely laborers/workers at Kusamba's Boiling Place aged 20-75 with mild to moderate pain, willing to be respondents, and willing to follow the exercises given. The results of the study showed that the average pre-test pain intensity was 5,39, after being given core stability exercise treatment, the average pain intensity was 2,60. The results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon signed rank test obtained a value of (0.001) or p <α (0.05). There is an influence between core stability exercise and lower back pain in Sentra of Kusamba's Boiling Place.

Abstract

Introduction: Families play an important role in the well-being and self-management of diabetes patients, but only 25% participate in diabetes programs, with only 27.6% of caregivers having self-management abilities for type 2 diabetes patients and 64.6% having low foot care abilities. This paper aimed to analyze the impact of the health education model through Bondres media on the ability of families to care for T2DM patients. Methods: This research employed a quasi-experimental design utilizing a cross-sectional study approach, and an intervention model of health education using Bondres media on family and patients with T2DM in Buleleng Regency. The sampling utilized the probability sampling method through cluster random sampling, resulting in a total of 106 respondents consisting of 53 interventions and 53 controls. The independent variable is the health education model using Bondres, while the dependent variable is family abilities. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire. This research data was analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney statistical tests. Results: The results showed that the family’s abilities: healthy diet (p=0,0001), physical activity (p=0,0001), consuming medicine (p=0,0001), management of blood pressure (p=0,001), rest and stress (p=0,0001), and smoking habit (p=0,0001). Conclusion: The health education model using Bondres media significantly improved the family’s ability to provide care for patients with T2DM. This approach proved effective in enhancing knowledge and practices in DM management.
