Abstract

Subsystems that make up the difference of the education system from others includes the goal, students, management, structure and schedule time, materials, teachers and practitioners, study aids, technology, facilities, quality control, research, and education costs. The purposeof this studywas to investigate determinants of the educational processto satisfy the students of STIKes Husada Persada Indonesia Diplomaof Nursing in 2013. The method used in this study was a survey that used across sectional research design. The study population are students of the Diploma of Nursing years I, II & III. Research population of 108 people. Collected data using questionnaires. Data were analyzed by univariate analysis (frequency distribution), bivariate analysis with Kais quaretest, and multivariate analysis (logistic regression test). Variables that have a significant relationship to the educational process in students’ satisfaction includes lecturers’ disciplines, delivery of content, lecturer appearance, laoratorium, libraries, educational tools, curriculum, course schedule, and administration. Results of multivariate analysis of the variables that have an influence on student satisfaction lecturers’ discipline, educationalaids, and curriculum, the dominant influence on student satisfaction is the curriculum.

Abstract

Estimated of the number of cases of MDR TB in the world reached 489-139 in 2008. The WHO global report 2010, estimated MDR - TB patients in Indonesia amounted to 8.900 Indonesia 's ranks 8th from 27 countries with the most cases of MDR - TB . Resistance OAT cases is difficult to treat because of complex treatment, expensive, and side effects of treatment with unsatisfactory results. The research problem is to understand the results of the treatment from patients with MDR – TB. The purpose of this study is to determine the evaluation of treatment results of MDR – TB patients. The survey methods is cross sectional study design. The population is all outpatients that has been declared as MDR – TB patients. Nonparametric test analysis (Mann Whitney Test). The results showed that the outcomes of treatment evaluation of patients with Multi Drug Resistant (MDR - TB) has significant relationship variable age P - value = 0.022 ( <0.05 ) , and variable drug side effects p - value = 0.047 ( <0.05 ) , whereas from 24 respondents that has been with MDR- TB patients the result found that the greater number of respondents who failed in the treatment than the respondents were healed. Family support is a must and good environment in terms of providing support for the patient to remain on treatment and take medication regularly . The key conclusions of this research is increasing age and side effects of OAT resistance leads to successful treatment of patients.

Abstract

Chikungunya is a contagious disease caused by the chikungunya virus. The main symptoms are sudden fever, joint pain mainly pinned knees, toes and fingers, and spine. One of these is the prevention of disease by conducting preventive behaviour by means of the implementation of PSN, 3M Plus, and periodic larvae examination by the health officers. In 2012 and 2013 there were chikungunya outbreak in KranjiVillage with 263 cases and no deaths. This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge and environment with chikungunya prevention behavior in community at RW 01 Kranji Village Bekasi in 2014. This study used an observational analytic cross sectional method. Total of 97 respondents were used in this study. The results showed no significant relationship between knowledge of the behavior of chikungunya prevention (OR = 0.172, P = 0.04), with the environmental behaviour of chikungunya prevention (OR = 0822, P = 0.018). Data on the chi-square test with significance level 95% (0.05). It is recommended to increase prevention activities by implementing 3M Plus, PSN and counselling to improve public knowledge related to precautionary behaviour on Chikungunya disease.

Abstract

The Indonesian society at present needs quality health services which can be seen based on five quality dimensions, i.e. quick response (responsiveness), reliability, assurance, empathy and direct evidence/proof (tangibility). This case study aims to determine customers’ perception (patient and health officers) on quality health services at Pasar Rebo Sub-District of East Jakarta Community Health Centre and this study was carriedout in the month of May 2015. This type of study is a qualitative case study design. Study focus covered tangible (cleanliness, comfort, comprehensive equipments and drug availability), responsiveness (speed and service flow procedures), reliability (training, costs, officers’ responsibilities, service schedule and displinary officers), empathy (equity in services), assurance (courteous/friendly officers, safety, physically-able, intellectual officers and reward). Study samples were key and supporting informants, type of purposive sampling became the study subject for 7 informants covering: 1 Section Head Of Service as key informant and 6 supporting informants. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and non-participant observations. Interview guidance using a tape recorder, observation guidance using a camera and field notation. In-depth interview with quality health services key informant at Pasar Rebo Sub-District Community Health Centre was good and results of indepth interviews as well as observation on tangibility were in the passably category, while based on responsiveness, reliability, empathy, assurance dimensions were in good category. By upholding good quality health services can lead to every patients’ satisfaction seeking treatment.

Abstract

Adolescence is part of human development. This period is a period of changes or transition from childhood to adulthood covering biological, psychological and social changes. In most societies and cultures, adolescence in general begins at ages 10-13 years old and ends at 18-22 years of age. SDKI year 2012 data showed 28% female adolescents and 24% male adolescents consumed alcoholic beverages before the age of 15. About 2,8% adolescents aged 15-19 years old were involved indrugs abuse, and 0,7% female and 4,5% males aged between 15-19 year of age indulged in premarital sex. This study aimed at determining the relationship between characteristic, knowledge and attitude with behavior in teens care health care service utilization (PKPR) in the Pasar Rebo East Jakarta Sub-District Puskesmas. This study used quantitative approach and analytic study type with Cross Sectional approach that is cause and effect variable or cases happening to study objects measured or collected as a stimulant (at the same time). Samples in this study totaled 81 respondents. Significant variable study is a type of poly result as every patient treated will be referred to PKPR poly first, after which health issue found at PKPR will be referred to other poly appropriately related to each issue, in carrying out integrated clinic functions with all other service units at community health centres (puskesmas).

Abstract

Shifting the public and consumers is a result of increased knowledge and consumer awareness of health improvement. People who are aware of their right to health care and medicine, ethical and legal issues are increasing as people receive health services. Provision of health services that are less satisfying and less human or not as expected, the legal problems and ethical dilemmas will increase. The aim of research is to determine the relationship between prescription services and patient satisfaction in Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. Type analytic survey research using cross sectional design. The study was conducted from March to May 2015 with a population of 9504 inhabitants and the sample of 100 respondents was searched using random sampling techniques. Chi-square statistic test found that there is no relationship between variable Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy and Tangible with the level of patient satisfaction. Respondent’s level of satisfaction in the service of prescription drugs say satisfied more than that to says less satisfied. The clerk at the service of prescription drugs while improving the quality of service so that visitors will still be satisfied.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is a program created by workers and employers in an effort to prevent accidents caused by work by identifying the potential cause of accidents and occupational diseases and anticipatory action in the case of accidents and occupational diseases. Lack of employee knowledge and tired feeling at work can lead to work accidents. Objective To know the influence of knowledge and fatigue of employees to work accident at Project Lippo Thamrin Office Tower PT Wijaya Karya (Wika). The object of this research is Project Lippo Thamrin Office Tower PT Wijaya Karya (Wika). This research is an analytic research using quantitative approach by using questionnaire. Independent variables (characteristics: age, working hours, length of service, education) Knowledge and Fatigue. Dependent variable Accident work. The results obtained from this study that there is significant influence between Knowledge, p-value (0,000) Fatigue, p-value (0,000) Working Hours, p-value (0.004) and Length of Employment Period, (0,004) with Work Accident. Project Worker Lippo Thamrin Office Tower PT Wijaya Karya (Wika) is classified as less good in terms of knowledge, fatigue, working hours, and length ofservice.

Abstract

Penyakit menular seksual menyebabkan infeksi alat reproduksi yang harus dianggap serius, bila tidak diobati dengan tepat infeksi dapat menjalar dan mengakibatkan kecacatan, kemandulan, bahkan kematian. Berdasarkan data di Klinik PMS Puskesmas 3 bulan terakhir yaitu bulan April hingga Juni terdapat 893 kunjungan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan, sikap dan Perilaku Pasien Dengan Kejadian Penyakit Menular Seksual (PMS) Di Klinik PMS Puskesmas Kecamatan Pasar Rebo Jakarta Timur Tahun 2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey analitik dengan menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian berjumlah 100 orang dan sampel berjumlah 80 orang yang dicari menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil penelitian ditemukan variabel yang berhubungan dengan kejadian penyakit menular seksual yaitu pengetahuan (0.01) dan sikap (p value 0.03), perilaku (p value 0.01) dan variabel yang tidak berpengaruh yaitu umur (p value 0.88), jenis kelamin (p value 0.55), pendidikan (p value 0.60), dan status pernikahan (p value 0.60). Dengan demikian diharapkan Puskesmas memberikan penyuluhan mengenai penyakit menular seksual untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat.

Abstract

Number of male family planning participants for Asia countries as follows; Korea 27%, Sri Lanka 26%, Philippines 24%, Bangladesh 18%, Nepal 18%, Malaysia 16,8%, Chin 11%, Thailand 9%, Pakistan 9% and Indonesia 2%. Amongst Asia countries, Indonesian males participation in the family planning is still low. The family planning programme is part of an integral section in the national development programme and aims to create economic welfare, spiritual and Indonesian social culture so as to achieve a good balance with national productivity ability, also as a measuring stick of factors influencing male behaviour in contraceptive usage in the district area of Jatinegara East Jakarta Communiy Health Centre for the year 2016. This research applied a analytical research with a cross sectional approach. The 80 respondents in the research were married male patients visting the Jatinegara East Jakarta district Communit Health Centre. The results obtained from the chi square test showed the presence of variables influenced by the male contraceptive usage, i.e. attitude (P = 0,014), wives’ support (P=0,000) and friends’ support (P=0,002).

Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are a condition that results from trauma experienced by the body over a period of time. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of ergonomic work factors on musculoskeletal disorders complaints on finishing workers at PT Wika Building Depok. Place of research in PT Wika Building Depok. This research is a quantitative analytic research using quantitative approach, using questionnaire and using Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method. Population in this research is finishing construction worker at PT Wika Building Depok. Independent variableswork conditions. Dependent variable musculoskeletal disorders complaints. The results obtained from this study are the significant influence between the working period (p-value = 0.001), history of musculoskeletal disorders (p-value = 0.002), posture at work (p-value = 0,000), duration of work (p-value = 0,003), workload (p-value = 0,004), work frequency (p-value = 0,003) with musculoskeletal disorders complaints on finishing workers at PT Wika Building Depok Year 2018. From the results of this study concluded that the higher the risk work conditions is not ergonomics increasingly affect the complaints musculoskeletal disorders on finishing workers in PT Wika Building Year 2018.
