Abstract

The main elements in Islam are faith, worship and morality. Actually all three are closely related to mathematics and its education for students. The novel Guru Aini is one of the books that seeks to integrate the understanding of the Islamic faith in learning mathematics by the mathematics teacher who is the main play. Through a literature review, it can be concluded that the educational values of Islamic faith contained in the novel Guru Aini (GA) by Andrea Hirata are: strengthening faith, trust, and belief. So what is meant by aqidah is a belief that pierces or is knotted in the heart. Tauhid or aqidah is a value that must be owned by an individual. The value of monotheism or aqidah is found in the form of limit and geometry concepts in the GA novel that are relevant to Tauhid Rububiyah.

Abstract

This workshop activity aims to assist teachers in developing Steam learning strategies with loose part media for teachers at RA Maarif Candran Godean Yogyakarta Kindergarten. The subjects in this workshop were RA Maarif Candra Kindergarten teachers in Yogyakarta, totaling 11 people. The stages of the work shop carried out are debriefing, mentoring, implementation and evaluation. The result of the workshop implementation was an increase in teachers' knowledge in developing learning strategies for the Steam model with loose parts media as seen from an average pre-test of 10.45 with an initial indication of moderate teachers and an average post-test of 18.02 with an indication of teachers' knowledge in the development of learning strategies for the Steam model and Media Loosepart increased. After participating in the training activities, the level of understanding of teachers increased as seen from the results of observations showing that 91% of teachers were able to design and implement STEAM learning strategies with loosepart media.

Abstract

This study discusses gender inequality, the practice of polygamy in a patriarchal system, and the psychological conflict of female characters in the film Perempuan Berkalung Sorban. The purpose of this study is to analyze the elements of feminism, the representation of polygamy from a sociological perspective, and the dynamics of Annisa's personality based on Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with content analysis through literature study, examining data in the form of dialogue, scenes, and narratives in the film. The results of the analysis show gender inequality reflected through women's restrictions in the fields of education, domestic roles, and the right to express themselves; polygamy is depicted as a practice that strengthens male dominance and has a psychological impact on women; and the conflict between the id, ego, and superego in the character Annisa reflects the inner struggle in facing patriarchal oppression. In conclusion, this film conveys a critique of patriarchal culture while emphasizing the importance of women's struggle to achieve justice and freedom in a restrictive social structure.

Abstract

Batik Madura merupakan salah satu warisan budaya Indonesia yang memiliki keunikan motif, kekayaan warna, dan keberanian visual yang berbeda dari batik-batik dari daerah Indonesia lainnya. Batik Madura tidak hanya kaya secara estetis, tetapi juga sarat dengan makna filosofis dan simbolik. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap makna filosofis di balik motif dan warna batik Madura melalui pendekatan linguistik antropologis yang memadukan unsur bahasa dan budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi, melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan perajin batik, tokoh budaya lokal, dan studi pustaka terhadap referensi terkait. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa batik Madura merefleksikan pandangan dunia, sistem kepercayaan, nilai-nilai spiritual, serta struktur sosial masyarakat etnis Madura. Setiap garis, bentuk, dan warna dalam batik Madura tidak dibuat secara sembarangan, melainkan memuat simbol-simbol yang merepresentasikan kehidupan sehari-hari, hubungan manusia dengan alam, serta prinsip-prinsip moral dan religius. Batik Madura tidak hanya dipandang sebagai produk seni atau komoditas ekonomi, tetapi juga sebagai media komunikasi budaya dan ekspresi identitas kolektif yang diwariskan lintas generasi. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya pemahaman terhadap batik sebagai representasi bahasa budaya.

Abstract

The focus of this research is prophetic values in folklore in the form of examples of changes in behavior, attitudes, science, both habluminalloh and habluminannas in order to create a harmonious balance in students. This research uses qualitative description methods using documentation techniques. Data source in the form of Indonesian folklore books on the island of Java. Of the several Indonesian folk tales selected, there are 5 (five), namely the folk tales (1) Nawangwulan, (2) Bawang Merah Bawang Putih, (3) Cindelaras, (4) Sangkuriang, and (5) Roro Mendut. The five folk tales are analyzed using steps to read, observe, record, identify and analyze from the aspects of humanization, liberation and transcendence in the five contents of the folk tale. Content and meaning analysis is used which is carried out objectively and transparently and arranged systematically and comprehensively to draw research conclusions. The results of this research show that there are prophetic values found in the five Indonesian folk tales. The meaning contained in the five Indonesian folklore is related to (1) humanist (humanity), namely instilling a soul based on the principle of humanity; and the interests of fellow human beings and being devoted to parents, (2) liberation, namely the soul upholding honesty and justice, and (3) transcendent, namely instilling devotion with gratitude and istiqomah in getting closer to God Almighty. Choosing the right folklore will be beneficial in character education for students in Junior High School.
