Abstract

The process of character building for early childhood students is not optimal due to lack of communication between parents of students and teachers. This lack of communication  is caused by teachers' fear of being violating human rights when giving educational punishment or warning to students who have broken the school rules (are not disciplined). To overcome this problem there needs to increase communication between teachers and parents of students, so there is no misunderstanding of the information received. An android-based application is used to facilitate communication between parents and teachers. This application has facilities in the form of information on student violations records, activities at school, tasks that must be done at home, and the amount of attendance. By using the application, parents can monitor and be notified related in real time. The location of this research was conducted in elementary school. SD. Neg Taman Sari 3 Yogyakarta with research subjects are parents of students and class teachers and the total number of respondents was 35 people. This research was conducted using a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of testing the effectiveness of communication between parents and teachers, and monitoring parents of their children's activities carried out before and after using the application. Data analysis using T Test using SPSS ver. 17, the result of the significance value (2-tailed) is 0,000 (p < 0.05). T test results showed a significant influence on communication problems. The results of the pretest and posttest Mathematics achievement scores with "Mean Paired Differences" obtained an average value of 7.5750 and 7.9953. This result is difference shows the influence of communication between teachers and parents of students.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi guru dalam mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk menstimulus literasi awal anak usia dini sehingga kemampuan literasi awal anak dapat terfasilitasi dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu pelatihan, pendampingan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Pembekalan diberikan selama dua kali dengan memberikan materi mengenai literasi awal. Pendampingan dilaksanakan selama dua kali untuk memberikan pengalaman dalam menyusun strategi dan pembuatan media pembelajaran. Implementasi dalam pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama dua minggu dan evaluasi dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana strategi yang dibuat oleh guru mampu meningkatkan literasi awal anak. Pelatihan ini diharapkan tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan baru mengenai literasi awal anak namun juga meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam merancang strategi pengembangan literasi awal anak.

Abstract

The current study aimed at developing a teacher handbook on preschool-aged children's aggressive behavior and its solution. The study was conducted in Kindergarten in Turi Subdistrict, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The subjects of the study were Kindergarten teachers, students, and parents. The data collection method consisted of interview, observation, and questionnaire. The present study was categorized as Research and Development (R&D). The study was conducted in six phases. Phase I involved survey and preliminary study, phase II involved prototyping of teacher handbook, phase III was initial evaluation, phase IV was product tryout, phase V was product revision, phase VI was the final product. The data were analyzed using quantitative analysis. Then it was converted into qualitative data by percentage formula in order to point out the product quality. The data were then analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive method. The result of the study showed that the use of teacher handbook significantly affects the decrease in preschool-aged children's aggressive behavior. The result of paired sample t-test on the questionnaire score before and after the use of the teacher handbook was sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05

Abstract

The goal of this research is to explain how to implement bullying-free schools in Surya Marta Kindergarten Yogyakarta and also to understand the coordination that discusses the application of school bullying through positive teacher communication. This research uses qualitative. Subjects of research are principals, teachers, and students' parents. Data collection is done through observation, interview, and collection techniques. While data analysis uses data reduction, displaying data, and making conclusions. Data validity technique with source triangulation. The results showed how the implementation of bullying-free schools through positive communication of teachers at Surya Marta Kindergarten Yogyakarta was applied in the form of activities that involved: (1) improving two-way communication between schools with research on victims and bullying through parenting activities; (2) each student guardian meeting is held a special agenda concerning the meeting and resolution of the intimidation case; (3) formation of a supervisory board; (4) Test the value of harmony and cooperation in the subject matter. The following: (1) parents of students do not fully understand the material delivered by the school; (2) receiving media which contains antibullying at school; (3) the absence of specific program implementation manuals. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana implementasi sekolah bebas bullying di TK Surya Marta Yogyakarta dan permasalahan apa saja yang dihadapi dalam penerapan sekolah bebas bullying melalaui komunikasi positif guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, dan orang tua siswa. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan lewat teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data dengan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi sekolah bebas bullying melalui komunikasi positif guru di TK Surya Marta Yogyakarta diaplikasikan ke berbagai bentuk aktivitas yaitu diantaranya: (1) meningkatkan komunikasi dua arah antara pihak sekolah dengan orangtua korban dan pelaku bullying melalui kegiatan parenting; (2) setiap pertemuan wali murid diadakan agenda khusus tentang pembahasan dan penekanan terhadap kasus bullying; (3) pembentukan dewan pengawas; (4) memperkuat nilai kerukunan dan kerja sama dalam materi pelajaran. Adapun kendalanya meliputi: (1) orang tua siswa belum sepenuhnya memahami materi yang sekolah sampaikan; (2) kurangnya media yang berisi tentang program anti bullying di sekolah; (3) tidak adanya buku acuan khusus pelaksanaan program.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang telah dilakukan, terdapat kesulitan yang dihadapi guru-guru TK Inklusi Srawong Bocah dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran yakni rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP). Kendala tersebut menjadi satu masalah yang sering dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran para guru. Hampir 75% guru-guru di KB TK Inklusi Srawung Bocah belum mempunyai kompetensi sebagai pendidik PAUD. Mereka berasal dari lulusan yang bukan dari latar belakang kependidikan. Kegiatan work shop guru PAUD ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru PAUD dalam menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) agar dapat menstimulasi seluruh aspek perkembangan anak (aspek nilai agama dan moral, fisik motorik, kognitif, bahasa, sosial emosional, dan seni) untuk diterapkan pada pendidikan anak di lembaga PAUD. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu metode tindakan kepengawasan yang dilaksanakan selama 2 siklus. Setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 4 tahapan kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan atau observasi, dan evaluasi (refleksi). Hasil workshop menunjukkan bahwa kopetensi guru-guru PAUD di KB TK Srawong Bocah dalam membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran meningkat setelah mengikuti kegiatan workshop penyusunan RPP.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengatasi kesulitan guru dalam menangani anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK). Metode kegiatan ini adalah berupa pelatihan, selanjutnya peserta dibimbing untuk menerapkan hasil pelatihan dalam penanganan ABK di kelas. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan 4 kali pertemuan yang masing-masing pertemuan durasi waktu antara 4 s/d 4,5 jam. Target yang ingin dicapai melalui pelatihan ini adalah peningkatkan kemampuan guru PAUD setelah mengikuti pelatihan terkait dengan pendidikan inklusi, berupa meningkakan kemampuan guru PAUD dalam ketrampilan menangani anak berkebutuhan khusus. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan rata-rata skor pre-test 41,07. Skor tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan peserta tentang pendidikan inklusi masih rendah dan perlu adanya pelatihan pendidikan inklusi. Hasil rata-rata post-test sebesar 76,85. Sedangkan rata-rata persentase peningkatan skor pre-test ke post-test sebesar 35,78.%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan skor dari pre-test ke post-test sudah memenuhi target pelatihan yaitu > 25%. Rata-rata hasil penilaian pelaksanaan pelatihan pendidikan inklusi sebesar 77,28. Yang sudah memenuhi target pelatihan yaitu > 70.

Abstract

AbstrakStunting adalah gangguan tumbuh kembang yang dialami anak akibat gizi buruk, infeksi berulang, dan stimulasi psikososial yang tidak memadai. Kajian ini untuk menjelaskan bagaimana kebijakan pencegahan stunting di Kalurahan Donokerto Turi Sleman Yogyakarta dijalankan, dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kebijakan yang dicanangkan oleh pemerintah desa dan relevansi penerapannya di masyarakat. Kebijakan yang dicanangkan oleh pemerintah desa akan ditelaah berdasarkan pada analisis kebijakan publik, indikator permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam implementasi kebijakan, dan saran atau rekomendasi kebijakan dalam pencegahan stunting di Desa Donokerto. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya yang ditempuh oleh Pememerintah Desa Donokerto dalam melakukan pencegahan stunting pada warganya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data diperoleh melalui dokumentasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa dalam penanganan stunting kebijakan dari Kalurahan Donokerto telah melakukan berbagai cara diantaranya penyuluhan oleh kader-kader yang sudah dibentuk, PMT ibu hamil, PMT ibu menyusui, Pembinaan kader-kader di desa-desa, rembuk stunting, melengkapi fasilitas posyandu untuk kegiatan penanganan stunting.Kata Kunci: Stunting, Pemerintah AbstractStunting is a developmental disorder experienced by children due to malnutrition, recurrent infections, and inadequate psychosocial stimulation. This study is to explain how the stunting prevention policy in Kalurahan Donokerto Turi Sleman Yogyakarta is carried out, and to find out how the policies proclaimed by the village government and the relevance of their implementation in the community. Policies launched by the village government will be reviewed based on public policy analysis, indicators of problems found in policy implementation, and policy suggestions or recommendations in stunting prevention in Donokerto Village. The purpose of this study is to find out how the efforts taken by the Donokerto Village Government in preventing stunting in its citizens. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data sources are obtained through documentation and interviews. The results of the study obtained that in handling stunting policies from Kalurahan Donokerto have carried out various ways including counseling by cadres who have been formed, PMT pregnant women, PMT nursing mothers, Fostering cadres in villages, rembuk stunting, completing posyandu facilities for stunting handling activities, while the obstacles faced by the Government in implementing stuntingKeyword: Stunting, Government

Abstract

Dipenghujung tahun 2019 ditemukan virus yang sekarang kita kenal dengan Covid-19. Penularan dan penyebaran virus tersebut sangat cepat. Penyebaran Virus Covid-19 melalui mulut atau hidung atau droplet dari orang yang telah terinfeksi virus tersebut ketika berbicara, bersin, batuk bernafas dan lainnya. Indonesia sendiri mengkonfirmasikan virus Covid-19 dibulan Maret 2020. Pada tanggal 10 Maret 2020 badan kesehatan dunia (WHO) mengumumkan Covid-19 sebagai pandemic global. Dampak virus Covid-19 sangatlah besar tidak sedikit pula yang sudah meninggal dunia karena keganasan virus Covid-19 ini. Setelah tahun 2019 tersebut banyak sekali perubahan pada segala aspek kehidupan yang merupakan dampak dari pandemic virus Covid-19. Salah satu contoh pada bidang perekonomian dan pariwisata yaitu penurunan pengunjung pada sector pariwisata menyebabkan penuruan pemasukan devisa negara dan perekonomian diarea wisata pun semakin menurun. Diakhir tahun 2021 terdengar kabar yang menggembirakan karena sudah ditemukannya vaksin untuk virus Covid-19. Perekonomian dan pariwisata mulai pulih seperti sebelum terjadi pandemic Covid-19. Namun, virus Covid-19 masih disekitar kita. Beberapa hal mengalami perubahan, seperti sector perekonomian, dimana kegiatan perekonomian sudah banyak menggunakan teknologi informasi. Perubahan tersebut mau tidak mau harus diikuti oleh semuanya, tidak terkecuali para pengajar TK Surya Marta. Agar produk rumahan pengajar TK Surya dapat dikenal pada skala yang besar.

Abstract

This workshop activity aims to assist teachers in developing Steam learning strategies with loose part media for teachers at RA Maarif Candran Godean Yogyakarta Kindergarten. The subjects in this workshop were RA Maarif Candra Kindergarten teachers in Yogyakarta, totaling 11 people. The stages of the work shop carried out are debriefing, mentoring, implementation and evaluation. The result of the workshop implementation was an increase in teachers' knowledge in developing learning strategies for the Steam model with loose parts media as seen from an average pre-test of 10.45 with an initial indication of moderate teachers and an average post-test of 18.02 with an indication of teachers' knowledge in the development of learning strategies for the Steam model and Media Loosepart increased. After participating in the training activities, the level of understanding of teachers increased as seen from the results of observations showing that 91% of teachers were able to design and implement STEAM learning strategies with loosepart media.
