Abstract

The research was carried out at the Karawang Agricultural State Vocational School located on Jl. Surotokunto No.82, Adiarsa Timur, East Karawang, Karawang Regency, West Java. The research was carried out in June 2021 – August 2021. The purpose of this study was to obtain the value of the effectiveness of AB Mix Nutrition on the growth and yield of Kale (Brassica oleraceae var. Acephala) cultivar Curly Gruner in the system Wick Hydroponic. The research method used an experimental method with a single factor Randomized Block Design (RBD). There were 6 treatments and 4 replications, so there were 24 experimental plots. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and further tested with DMRT at a level of 5%. The parameters of this study were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, leaf area. The results showed that in treatment F (2000 ppm) gave the highest yield on plant height of 57.97 cm, and leaf area in treatment F (2000 ppm) of 133.04 cm². In treatment E (1750 ppm) gave the highest yield on the number of leaves of 22.5 strands and on stem diameter with treatment E (1750 ppm) of 11.63 mm

Abstract

One methods that can be used for cultivate baby kailan on limited land is the planting technique of floating rafts hydroponic system. The experiment was conducted in a screen house, Cianting district, Purwakarta Regency from July to August 2021. The research method was used experimental method with Randomized Block Desain (RBD) Factorial cconsisting of 9 treatments 3 replications. The first factor was aerator ativation time consisting of 3 levels, namely a1 (24 hours), a2 (12 hours with interval “on/off” 30 minutes ), and a3 (without aeration). The second factor is the EC of 3 levels, namely e1 (e1 (1,5 – 2,0 mScm-1), e2 (2,0 – 2,5 mScm-1), and e3 (2,5 – 3,0 mScm-1). The effect of threatment in the analysis with variety analysis and if the F test level is 5% significant, then to know the best treatment continued with dmrt test (Duncan Multiple Range Test) at the level of 5%. The result showed that there was no interaction between the aerator and EC value difference on each parameter baby kailan. Threatment of aerator activation time 24 hours can produe the highest average fresh weight 30,08 gram. Threatment EC value 1,5 – 2,0 mScm-1 gives average of highest fresh weight baby kailan 25,51 gram.

Abstract

Bayam merah termasuk sayuran daun yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi dan prospek yang bagus untuk dibudidayakan. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan pada lahan perkotaan yaitumenggunakan sistem hidroponik rakit apung. Sistem rakit apung memiliki beberapa kelebihan diantaranya menghasilkan sayuran yang berkualitas, hama lebih sedikit, dan tidak perlu dilakukan penyiraman karena air yang tersedia serta mudah dalam proses pemanenan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan mempelajari dan mendapatkan populasi dan konsentrasi AB Mix yang memberikan hasil tertinggi bayam merah (Althernanthera amoena Voss.) Varietas Mira. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eskperimental dengan rancangan lingkungan berupa  Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial. Terdapat dua faktor, pertama yaitu populasi yang terdiri dari 3 taraf, di antaranya p1 (4 tanaman), p2 (6 tanaman), dan p3 (8 tanaman). Kedua yaitu Konsentrasi AB Mix terdiri dari 4 taraf, di antaranya n1 (800 ppm), n2 (1200 ppm), n3 (1600 ppm), dan n4 (2000 ppm). Terdapat 12 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan sehingga terdapat 36 unit percobaan. Analisis data menggunakaan analisis ragam untuk Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial. Jika F hitung lebih besar dari F Tabel, maka dilakukan Uji lanjut DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) taraf 5%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tidak terdapat interaksi antara populasi dan konsentrasi AB Mix terhadap seluruh parameter pengamatan, Terdapat pengaruh mandiri terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, panjang akar, luas daun, bobot segar dengan akar dan bobot segar tanpa akar, namun tidak terdapat pengaruh mandiri pada jumlah daun

Abstract

The plastic problem had become a global problem, which until now there was no right solution to solve it. The agricultural sector in plant cultivation activities from upstream to downstream was quite a lot of plastic waste produced, one of which was the massive use of plastic mulch in horticultural cultivation. Therefore it is necessary to develop the use of mulch with natural materials that are more environmentally friendly. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of mulch based on straw and rice husks on the growth and yield of paria Lipa F1 varieties in Pakisjaya, Karawang. The research was conducted in Telukbuyung Village, Pakisjaya District, Karawang Regency for 3 months from August to November 2020. This study used an experimental method with a Randomized Block Design (RBD) as the environmental design. The treatment given was giving mulch to the cultivation of pariah plants which consisted of 4 levels of treatment (A. Control / No Mulch, B. Black Silver Plastic Mulch, C. Rice Straw Organic Mulch Carpet, D. Organic Rice Husk Mulch Carpet) and repeated as many as 6 times so that there are 24 Trial Units. The results showed that the application of various mulching showed a significant effect on the growth and yield of bitter melon variety of Lipa F1 in Pakisjaya, Karawang. Silver black plastic mulch had the highest average value on observed parameters among other treatments, but the use of organic mulch carpet made from straw and rice husk had the potential as an alternative in mulching in horticultural cultivation.

Abstract

Salah satu spesies jamur yang terkenal di Asia Tenggara adalah jamur merang, tetapi disisi lain produksi jamur merang di Indonesia masih bersifat fluktuatif. Media tumbuh pada jamur merang merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan hasil dari jamur merang. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh bahan subtitusi media tumbuh yang dapat memberikan hasil tertinggi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bibit sebar F3 isolat FP007 Faperta Unsika di Majalaya, Karawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktor Tunggal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh nyata uji berbagai bahan subtitusi media tumbuh jamur merang terhadap parameter diameter badan buah dan panjang badan buah, tetapi tidak berbeda nyata terhadap bobot per badan buah dan intensitas panen. Abstract

Kale (Brassica oleracea L. var. acephala) was a plant relating to the cabbage family (Brassica oleracea L.) that had various benefits for the body because kale plants contained many nutrients. However, there was a decrease in kale (Brassica oleracea L. var. acephala) production. Factors affecting this production decrease included reduced agricultural land and fertilizer application to the plants. The goal of this study was to assess the impact of various levels of foliar fertilizer on the growth and highest yield of kale (Brassica oleracea L. var. acephala) using the NFT hydroponic system. The analysis took place at Dhieffi Farm, CV. Teras Budidaya Inovasi, Vida Housing, Padurenan Village, Mustika Jaya District, Bekasi City. The analysis happened during February to April 2025. The strategy employed in this analysis was an experiment with a single-factor randomized block design (RBD) involving 6 treatments and 4 replications, namely A (0ml), B (1ml), C (2ml), D (3ml), E (4ml), and F (5ml), resulting in 24 experimental units. The observational data from this experiment were analyzed using the F-test at a 5% significance level. The key metrics in this analysis were plant elevation and leaf quantity. The research of the study showed no significant effect of various concentrations of foliar fertilizer across all observed parameters

Abstract

Pakcoy is among the most favored horticultural plants among the public as a result of its nutrient richness. Foliar fertilizer can be used to enhance the fertility of plant leaves, expand the leaves, and increase the number of leaves. The foliar fertilizer used contains 11% N, 8% P, 6% K, and microelements such as Fe, B, Co, Mn, Zn, and Cu. The purpose of this study is to determine the appropriate concentration of foliar fertilizer to achieve optimal performance and harvest of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.). This trial occurred at Dhieffi Farm located at Jalan Vida, Padurenan, Mustika Jaya District, Bekasi City, West Java, February to April 2025. This research applies an experimental technique using a one-factor Randomized Block Design (RBD). There are 6 treatments repeated 4 times, resulting in 24 experimental units: A (Control/Without Leaf Fertilizer), B (2 ml/l), C (2.5 ml/l), D (3 ml/l), E (3.5 ml/l), F (4 ml/l). Data from field observations were analyzed using the F-test at a 5% significance level. This research outcomes showed no significant effect on the parameters of plant height and leaf count
