Abstract

Pada ujian masuk perguruan tinggi X, diujikan dua mata ujian, yaitu matematika dan bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan soal-soal yang digunakan sebagai sarana seleksi dan mengetahui batas bawah nilai peserta ujian yang bisa diterima. Data-data yang digunakan meliputi data nilai ujian masuk dan data indeks prestasi(IP) semester 1. Data-data tersebut adalah data numerik. Penelitian ini menggunakan suatu metode prediksi, yaitu metode regresi linier, disesuaikan dengan tujuan yang ingin dicapai dan data yang digunakan, Dari hasil eksperimen disimpulkan bahwa metode regresi linier bisa digunakan sebagai alat untuk menganalisis pengaruh nilai ujian masuk terhadap IP mahasiswa. Dari tujuh paket soal yang ada, empat paket soal bisa digunakan sebagai sarana seleksi yang efektif, sehingga dapat digunakan kembali pada ujian-ujian tahun selanjutnya. Sedangkan informasi batas bawah nilai peserta ujian, disediakan oleh dua dari tujuh paket soal yang ada.

Abstract

Opinion mining is the process of understanding, extracting and processing textual data automatically to get the sentiment of information contained in an opinion sentence. One of text mining methods that can be used to solve the problem of opinion mining is the Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC). Source data to be processed in the process of data classification is the opinion or comment on the news online. Before the opinion or comment data is processed into the classification process, the first step that must be passed is text processing. Text processing includes tokenizing, filtering, and stemming. The next stage, producing probabilistic models whose value will be used in classification process. The core process of the classification is determining the highest probability of each category. If the results indicate the probability Bayes comments for positive cate gory is larger then the comment, then the comments is categorized as a positive opinion and vice versa.

Abstract

Opinion mining aims to determine an opinion category, positive opinion, negative opinion, or neutral. Opinion mining implementation on public opinions, produces a percentage summary of positive opinions, negative opinions, or neutral from reader. In online political news context, this summary has advantage for readers to understand political situation which changed very fast and has advantage for online news manager to know respond from society towards presented news. Actually reader‟s opinion also can be used to influenced public opinion, motivate appearance mislead spam opinion. Spam opinion must be detected in opinion mining, further spam op inion will be ignored. This research purpose is opinion spam detection. This research used two methods, comments duplication checking and aberrant behavior detection. Duplication checking is done by comparing each existing comments on all articles by using the cosine similarity. This research can find some spam opinions by those methods.

Abstract

Business Entity library Batam (BP Batam) is a public library located in Batam city with thw number of visitors. Every visitor who comes to do the charging guest book manually by writing system. It causes a buildup of data which are not organized. Data mining is one of the analytical tools that can be used to address the backlog of data. The method of Clustering with the K-Means Algorithm used in analyzing the data library visitors BP Batam. Library visitors using the data processing method of Elbow to get the best number of clusters K i.e., K = 3, and by using the center point (centroid) initial i,e, P1 = (4,1), P2 = (2,4), P3 = (4,2). The purpose of this research is to apply the algorithm for K-Means clustering in the data library visitors (case study library BP Batam). K-Means clustering results obtained from 1556 dataset data library visitors are grouped into three clusters, Clusters 1 is dominated by a college student and visitor located at Batam Center, Cluster 2 is dominated by a college student and visitor located at Bengkong, Cluster 3 is dominated by public and visitor status in Batam Center.

Abstract

Perkembangan laptop saat ini sangat pesat. Para produsen menggunakan media sosial misalnya fan page di Facebook untuk mempromosikan produknya. Semakin banyaknya pilihan membuat seseorang kesulitan dalam menentukan suatu laptop bagus atau tidak, direkomendasikan atau tidak. Review-review dan komentar-komentar yang ada di fan page tentang merek-merek laptop baru bisa dijadikan sebagai pengetahuan untuk menentukan apakah laptop baru tersebut bagus atau tidak. Jumlah review dan komentar yang ada di fan page sangat banyak sehingga diperlukan proses otomatisasi. Untuk keperluan tersebut digunakan opinion mining mencakup identifikasi target opini dan penentuan orientasinya. Identifikasi target opini digunakan untuk mengetahui fitur-fitur laptop yang dibicarakan dalam sebuah komentar sedangkan penentuan orientasi digunakan untuk menentukan apakah komentar bersifat positif atau negatif. Data yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini diambil dari data fans page Facebook yang kemudian dianalis menggunakan metode Apriori untuk menghasilkan fitur laptop sebagai target opini dan metode Lexicon-based untuk menentukan orientasi fitur laptop, apakah berorientasi positif atau negatif. Penelitian juga menghasilkan kesimpulan dari data review dan komentar yang telah diproses.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu kelompok nelayan dalam pengelolaan isi konten website sebagai media promosi dan pemasaran hasil pengolahan ikan mereka. Pada masa kini, dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dan internet, memiliki kehadiran online sangat penting untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan pendapatan. Dalam kegiatan ini, kami bekerja sama dengan kelompok nelayan untuk mengembangkan konten yang menarik dan informatif untuk website mereka. Tim kami memberikan pelatihan kepada anggota kelompok nelayan tentang penggunaan website, teknik penulisan konten yang efektif, dan penggunaan alat-alat digital untuk meningkatkan visibilitas mereka. Hal ini memungkinkan mereka untuk menghasilkan konten yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan target audiens mereka. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan keahlian dan pengetahuan yang dibutuhkan untuk mengelola website mereka secara efektif. Dengan adanya website yang menarik dan teratur, kelompok nelayan dapat mempromosikan produk hasil pengolahan ikan mereka kepada pasar yang lebih luas, baik di tingkat lokal maupun regional. Dengan demikian, pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat memberikan manfaat jangka panjang bagi kelompok nelayan, seperti peningkatan pendapatan, diversifikasi pasar, dan meningkatkan taraf hidup mereka secara keseluruhan

Abstract

In the digital era, the integration of technology in education has become increasingly important to create more effective and engaging learning experiences. The implementation of microlearning in education makes the learning time more effective and efficient. Microlearning delivers knowledge or information in small, digestible chunks, enabling learners to easily absorb, understand, and remember the content. Ulil Albab Integrated Islamic High School (SMAIT Ulil Albab) Batam is a formal educational institution located in Batam, Riau Islands. The learning media currently used by the school include books, photos, videos, and PowerPoint presentations. This community service activity aims to assist the school in developing a mobile-based microlearning media that can provide a more engaging learning experience and make students' learning time more effective and efficient. The methods used include preparation stages such as literature study and needs analysis, implementation stages like developing the microlearning application, and the final stages such as socialization and training. The results of the application testing showed that user satisfaction with the mobile-based microlearning application was 87.52% in the very satisfied category. Meanwhile, the evaluation of partner satisfaction with the community service activity revealed that the partner was very satisfied with the conducted activity, with a satisfaction percentage of 90.3%.

Abstract

The rapid shift toward digital business requires organizations to implement integrated Human Resource Management (HRM) systems to reduce inefficiencies caused by manual processes. At PT Kreatif System Indonesia, the lack of integration between the fingerprint attendance system and core HR functions resulted in fragmented data, higher human error risk, and reduced decision-making accuracy. This study focused exclusively on PT Kreatif System Indonesia to address its internal operational challenges. The research aimed to design a consistent, easy-to-use, and memorable UI/UX based on Material Design principles and validate it through comprehensive usability evaluation. Interface consistency was emphasized to reduce cognitive load, improve recognition, and support smooth task execution across different user skill levels. The Prototyping development model enabled iterative refinements through continuous user feedback. Usability was evaluated using Task Completion Rate (TCR), Time-Based Efficiency (TBE), and the System Usability Scale (SUS). The developed HRIS successfully integrated all targeted modules. Initial testing achieved a TCR of 87.85% and a TBE of 0.0878 goals/second, which improved to 93.45% and 0.1258 goals/second after UI/UX enhancements. A SUS score of 74.42 indicates that the system is acceptable and well received. These results confirm that consistent UI/UX design significantly enhances HRIS effectiveness, efficiency, and usability.
