Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan persen ekstraksi emas dari limbah papan sirkuit telepon genggam dengan teknik  membran cair emulsi menggunakan MIBK sebagai carrier. Reaksinya terjadi secara simultan di permukaan membran, antara senyawa yang akan dipisahkan pada fasa umpan dengan senyawa pembawa pada fasa organik. Logam emas hasil reaksi akan terdifusi ke fasa membran yang pada akhirnya hasil ekstraksi terkumpul dan terkonsentrasi di fasa penerima. Sebelum diaplikasikan ke limbah telepon , terlebih dahulu dipelajari beberapa parameter yang berpengaruh  terhadap perolehan persen ekstraksi. Pada penelitian ini kondisi optimum untuk parameter pembuatan fasa emulsi yaitu 1:1, pengaruh kecepatan pembuatan emulsi pada yaitu 1000 rpm.Pengaruh konsentrasi carrier terhadap persen ekstraksi emas dengan konsentrasi MIBK sebesar 3%, pengaruh kecepatan kontak terhadap persen ekstraksi emas adalah pada 1000 rpm. Penerapan kondisi optimum pada limbah papan sirkuit telepon genggam memberikan persen ekstraksi Au sebesar 83.24%. Kata Kunci: limbah papan sirkuit telepon genggam, MIBK, teknik membran cair emulsi. Abstrack This research aim is to determine extraction percentage of gold from cellular phone circuit board waste using emulsion liquid membrane technique with Methyl Isobutyl Ketone (MIBK) as carrier. The reaction occur simultaneously on the membrane surface, between compound going to be separate in feed phase with carrier compound in organic phase. Gold from reaction will diffuse into membrane phase which finally will be collected and concentrated in receiving phase. Before it applied to phone waste, there are several parameters studied which influence the extraction percentage result. In this research the optimum condition for building emulsion phase parameter is 1:1, effect on building emulsion rate is 1000 rpm. Carrier concentration effect to extraction percentage of gold is at 3% MIBK and contact rate effect is at 1000 rpm. Optimum condition application to cellular phone circuit board waste give Au extraction percentage of 83.24%. Keywords: cellular phone circuit board waste, MIBK, emulsion liquid membrane technique.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of laboratory activities based on 5E model against student’s concept understanding on acid-base material. This research was conducted in senior high school of 76 Jakarta in the even semester. The method of this research was experiment research. The sample of this research taken by purposive sampling technique, so that got two classes that were XI MIA 3 as experiment class and XI MIA 1 as control class. Experimental class was given treatment in the form of laboratory activity based on model 5E (engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, and evaluation), while for control class using laboratory activity without based on 5E model. The instrument used in the research was a post-test question in the form of student's concept comprehension test, consisting of 20 multiple choices question and 3 essays questions. The average of experimental class test result was 65.01 while the average of control class test result was 51.28. Data obtained was analyzed using non-parametric statistics Mann-Whitney test, showed the result that value of Zcount = 1.51 smaller than Ztable/α = 1.64 or Zcount<Ztable. That is, implementation of 5E model based laboratory activity has a positive effect against student’s concept understanding on acid-base material. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi dan kerjasama siswa pada saat penerapan metode pembelajaran projek. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X-7 SMA Negeri 30 Jakarta sebanyak 35 orang. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari April hingga Mei 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Kemampuan komunikasi dan kerjasama siswa dinilai menggunakan 3 angket, yaitu: self report, peer review, dan observer. Ketiga angket tersebut mengacu pada 7 indikator, yaitu: tanggung jawab terhadap tugas, menciptakan suasana kondusif saat diskusi, mengambil bagian dalam pengambilan keputusan, menghargai pendapat dan keputusan kelompok, menyesuaikan pilihan kata, volume, dan intonasi suara, menyampaikan ide/hasil diskusi secara jelas, efektif, sistematis, dan meyakinkan, serta menaggapi lawan bicara secara positif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi dan kerjasama siswa mengalami peningkatan. Secara keseluruhan pencapaian kemampuan kerjasama sebesar lebih dari 75% dan kemampuan komunikasi lebih dari 70%. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the application and implication of Dilemmas Stories approach on the Salt Hydrolysis subject by using Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) method toward students’ soft skills. The population of the study is 36 of public senior high school’s students at Jakarta. The study was conducted from February to April in 2015. The dilemmas stories which used in this study was the dilemmas of the use of fertilizer, Sodium Nitrite in processed meats, bleach apparel, and rice bleacher. This study was used a qualitative method by using multiple data collection techniques through the interview, reflective journal and classroom observation which is supported by CCVLES questionnaire with indicators, namely: feeling related to the story, story’s contents, teacher’s support, teamwork, empathetic communication, critical thinking, and contextual chemistry. The quality standards which used was credibility by using prolonged engagement, progressive subjectivity, and member checking. The results of the study have shown that the indicators in CCVLES were achieved. Moreover, it was also found other soft skills as the implication of learning which are motivation, the reflection of the values, curiosity, responsibility, and encourage to argue. The implication of the creativity was perceived by students both by poster and drama output. This study also discovered that there some preparation needed in applying Dilemmas Stories approach, including teacher’s practice, time efficiency, and appropriate materials selection. Abstract

This study aims to improve student’s learning motivation on oxidation-reduction reaction material through flipped classroom learning model with cooperative learning. Cooperative learning which applied in this research is Number Head Together (NHT) type. The study was conducted in the 2nd term of academic year 2016/2017 at one of public senior high school in Jakarta. The research method which had been used is Classroom Action Research through four stages, planning, implementation, observation and reflection phase. This research was conducted in two cycles until all six indicators of student learning motivation are achieved. The indicators that used to determine student’s learning motivation include student’s interest in learning process, student’s attention in the learning process, the responses are shown to the stimulus given by the teacher, the spirit of the student’s to do the tasks, the responsibility at finished the work, happiness, and satisfaction of student’s in doing the task given by the teacher. The first cycle produces two indicators, student’s interest in the learning process and responsibility at finished the task. In the second cycle, all indicators have been reached. Along with the increase of student’s motivation, the average of student’s learning also increases. Flipped classroom learning with cooperative learning could make a positive impact for improvement of student learning motivation. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Laboratory Jargon dan miskonsepsi dalam materi asam-basa pada siswa SMA kelas XI. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA di lima SMA pada kecamatan Pulogadung, Jakarta Timur sebanyak 320 siswa.. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei kuantitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi saat pembelajaran, jawaban siswa pada Kuesioner Laboratory Jargon, dan wawancara siswa. Miskonsepsi yang dibahas pada penelitian ini terkait dengan beberapa konsep pada materi asam-basa, yaitu konsep atom dan molekul; definisi asam basa; disosiasi air; asam-basa lemah; konsentrasi air; pembentukan ion asam-basa; reaksi netralisasi; kekuatan asam (pH); indikator asam basa; serta sifat amfoter air. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari sepuluh konsep tersebut masih banyak siswa yang memilih jawaban Laboratory Jargon yang merupakan pernyataan miskonsepsi. Persentase miskonsepsi siswa rata-rata dari sepuluh konsep tersebut adalah 64,44%. Persentase miskonsepsi siswa yang paling besar adalah pada konsep sifat amfoter air yaitu 85,31% kemudian konsep kekuatan asam (pH) yaitu 75,62%. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara sebagian besar siswa memilih jawaban miskonsepsi disebabkan karena siswa terbiasa mempelajari suatu konsep kimia dengan Laboratory Jargon baik dari guru atau sumber belajar. Abstract

This research aims to develop students’ soft skills through integration STEAM approach in acid base learning. The research was conducted in year XI in the even semester of the academic year 2016/2017. This research employed qualitative research with data collection of interview, observation, and reflective journal. Learning activities were carried out by applying six stages of project-based learning, consisting of provide essential questions, design a plan for the project, create a project schedule, monitor students and project progress, assess or result the outcome, and evaluate the experience. Based on the results of the research can be concluded that integration of STEAM approach in project-based learning has developed students’ soft skills of cooperation, critical thinking, environmental awareness, responsibility, adaptability skills, and creative thinking. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of flipped classroom integrated cooperative learning model toward students’ motivation on reduction and oxidation reaction. This study was conducted at SMAN 4 Tangerang in tenth graders of science. The method of the study is quasi experiment with nonequivalen control grup design. Students in experimental group used flipped classroom integrated cooperative learning model, mainwhile, students in control group used cooperative learning model. Based on the result of data analysis, there is a significant difference between students’ motivation in control group with the experimental group seen from tobs 1,77 > ttable 1,67 at the level of significance is 0,05, it can be concluded that there is a positive effect on the application flipped classroom integrated cooperative learning model toward students’ motivation on reduction and oxidation reaction. Abstract

This study aims to determine the positive effects of a guided inquiry learning model with a contextual based approach (CBA) on the chemical literacy of students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri Jakarta in the hydrolysis of salt. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019. This study uses quasi-experimental with post-test only non-equivalents design. The research sample amounted to 64 students of class XI MIPA C (control) and XI MIPA D (experiments) selected by purposive sampling technique. The posttest used to measure students' level of chemical literacy about salt hydrolysis. The results of this study indicate that the chemical literacy skills of experimental class students were 60.84% with a moderate category while the chemical literacy ability of the control group was 50.82% with a low category. After Independent Sample T-test (α = 0.05) t-stat value (2.597)> t-critical one tail value (1.669). It can be concluded that there is a positive effect of the guided inquiry learning model with a contextual based approach (CBA) on the chemical literacy of students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri Jakarta in salt hydrolysis. Abstract

This study aimed to develop students' analytical thinking skills through the Prepare, Do, Review learning model on acid and base indicator topics. The study was conducted at SMAN 36 Jakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year with the subjects 33 students of class XI MIPA 4. The study employed qualitative methods by collecting data through tests, observation, and reflective journals. The Prepare, Do, Review model implemented through three stages of learning, namely preparation, conducting activities, and review. Analytical thinking ability include of three indicators, namely diffrerentiating, connecting, and organizing. Indicators of analytical thinking ability to be achieved are adjusted to the indicators of achievement of existing competencies. The overall results of the study showed 84,85% of students reached very good levels, 15,15% reached good levels, and there were no more students who were at a fair level, poor level and not very poor level. In each indicator of analytical thinking ability on acid and base indicator topics, there are no students at poor level and very poor level which suggests that learners’ analytical thinking skills develop. Prepare, Do, Review creates a meaningful learning process because learners have experience in learning process, so this model can develop the ability of learners’ analytical thinking.
