Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to identify patterns of protein antigens full / secretory antigens may be antigenic protein (PA) of Bacillus anthracis by the use of SDS-PAGE method (Laemmli) which can be used as bioreseptor on the test device fabrication method for detecting antibodies GICA of Bacillus anthracis , identify patterns of proteins that are antigenic protein (PA) or indicate the nature of the reactivity of Bacillus anthracis by using Western blotting and Determining the specificity and sensitivity of the test method to detect antibodies GICA Bacillus anthracis when using the results of the ELISA method as a reference. This study is a descriptive observational study. Research variable antigenic protein of Bacillus anthracis as bioreseptor and Antibodies from Bacillus anthracis as imunosenssor. The test prototype test device made using 20 sample with ELISA as a reference for calculating the sensitivity and specificity. The results of this study were identified band – band of 92 kDa, 68 kDa, 54 kDa, 43 kDa, 29 kDa and 18 kDa that can be used as bioreseptor on GICA, identified a pattern of proteins that are antigenic or indicate the nature of the reactivity of the Bacillus anthracis 68 kDa by Western blotting using the method, extract secretory antigen (SA) Bacillus anthracis can be used as a test device bioreseptor on GICA method for the detection of IgG antibodies against Bacillus anthracis and sensitivity and specificity of the test method to detect antibodies GICA Bacillus anthracis when using the results of the ELISA method as a reference each is 100% and 87.5%.

Abstract

Abstrac: A worm infection can decrease sufferers’ health condition, nutrition, intelligence and their productivity thus, it can cause numerous of disadvantages economically. The immune response to worm infection begins with Th2 activation with a significant increase of IL-4, IL-5, IL-9, IL-10 and IL-13. The cytokines IL-5 that formed stimulates the growth and activation of eosinophils. The purpose of this research was to know the immune response by increasing the number of eosinophils to worm infection rate at Puskesmas Tanjung Karang. The research design was expost facto with cross sectional or transversal. The sample was communities’ faces and blood at Puskesmas Tanjung Karang as many as 50 people. The technique sampling was random from family members who have worm risk factors (poor sanitation conditions, living near animal cage, ground floor houses, pets such as dogs and cats). The correlation analysis of worm infection with eosinophils used Mann Whitney Test. The results showed that the prevalence of worm infection belong to mild category for Trichurin trichura was 10%, and the overall worm infection was 12% whereas the average number of eosinophils in the normal category was between 50-300 cells / mm². The results of statistical analysis were not significant (Asymp. Sig. 0.059) which means that there was no effect of the immune response with the number of eosinophils on the level of worminfection at Puskesmas Tanjung Karang. Keywords: Immune response, eosinophil, worm infection.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between personal family conditions and job satisfaction, as family conditions are a significant factor influencing employee productivity and work-life balance. The research focuses on tax auditors at the Primary Tax Office in Pangkalan Kerinci, who exhibit diverse demographic profiles, including age, family status, and number of children. Using the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ-13), the study examines four dimensions of job satisfaction: work environment, work-life balance, social relationships, and job achievement. Employing a quantitative survey method, the study sampled all 10 tax auditors through total sampling. Data analysis included validity and reliability testing and correlation analysis. The findings revealed that the MSQ-13 instrument is valid and reliable, with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.812. Work environment, work-life balance, and positive social relationships significantly influence job satisfaction, while employees separated from their families face challenges in maintaining work-life balance. Positive workplace relationships enhance satisfaction, but conflicts within teams reduce motivation. Ultimately, a supportive work environment, balanced work-life conditions, and strong social relationships are key factors driving job satisfaction and productivit.

Abstract

The implementation of this research, conducted through Community Service Activities, is grounded in the conditions experienced by parents in caring for children with special needs, such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, cerebral palsy, or other developmental disorders. The heavy burden of caregiving can increase the risk of psychological distress. This Community Service Activity was carried out at the Sahabat Autis Bogor Foundation, located in Billabong Permai Housing Complex, Block C3D No. 2, Bojong Gede, accompanying seven parents of students. The objective of the Community Service Activity was to enhance the quality of life of the mothers, stabilize their mental health, prevent mental health decline, and provide optimal support for their children with mental health challenges. The methods employed in the Community Service Activity included (1) Socialization and Seminar Implementation, (2) Psychological Support and Counseling, and (3) Coping Strategy Training and the Establishment of a Support Group. The findings from this research activity indicated that parents struggled to express the anger and bitterness they experienced as side effects of stress, fatigue, and the lack of attention to their own needs. Parents, particularly mothers of children with special needs, were found to be more vulnerable to prolonged stress, anxiety, and even depression compared to mothers of children without special needs. They also experienced trauma in introducing their children to their social environment and exhibited heightened concerns regarding their children's careers and futures.
