Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the impact of the ban policy on the export ofraw rattan towards Indonesian rattan furniture industry. Indonesian supplied theworld raw materials for 75.5%. Indonesia has the advantage in the production ofrattan raw materials, otherwise rattan furniture industry has not yet evolved.Through Permendag No. 35/M-DAG/PER/11/2011, Indonesia protect the rattanfurniture industry. In addition, this study aims to give information about thecondition of Indonesian rattan furniture industry before and after the issuance ofthe policy.This study applies mercantilism perspective. Mercantilism assume thateconomy controlled by political community and especially the government orcountry. Economic dependence on other countries for the mercantile should beavoided. When there is a threat of foreign parties in the free trade, then the statecan provide protection to avoid the impact. Protection theory used to analyze theimpact of the ban policy on the export of raw rattan towards Indonesian rattanfurniture industry. This study applies qualitative research method with libraryresearch.The results of this research founds that the ban policy on the raw rattanexport gives the positives influence on increases the export value of rattanfurniture and an increases in foreign exchange.Keywords: Mercantilism, Protection Policy, Rattan, Value of exports

Abstract

Learning outcomes are an indicator of educational quality; with technological advancements in the Computer Based Assessment (CBA)-based seafarer expertise test, it is hoped that CBA implementation can be carried out transparently. The objective of this study was to discover whether level IV training participants improved their readiness for the Barombong Maritime Polytechnic's Computer-Based Assessment (CBA), if done correctly and in accordance with what is tested by the Seafarer Expertise Examination Organizer. This study applied a survey method to describe the readiness of the examinees to take the computer-based assessment of seafarer skills exams. A total of 75 seafarer skills test participants were used in this study. In this study, the purposive sampling method was used. The study's findings indicated that the examinees were prepared to take the Seafarers Expertise Exam, as evidenced by a test score of 83.14% on the questionnaire for very good assessment, and that the organizers of the Seafarer Skills Exam were ready to conduct computer-based assessments without any obstacles. They must, however, continue to improve in order to achieve better results. The result of the study showed that: 1. Participants in the seafaring skill test have a high level of understanding (94.6%). 2. The respondent's business aspect is excellent (100%). 3. Aspects of respondents' ability in the very good category (100%). 4. The achievement value for the facility aspect is very high (98.7%).

Abstract

Pendeteksian topik adalah solusi untuk mengungkap struktur laten dalam sebuah dokumen. Kerangka umum pendeteksian topik berbasis clustering terdiri dari dua langkah: pembelajaran representasi dan pendeteksian topik melalui clustering. Dalam penelitian ini, Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) digunakan untuk pembelajaran representasi karena BERT mampu menangkap konteks setiap kata berdasarkan kata-kata di sekitarnya. Representasi teks yang diperoleh dari BERT digunakan untuk pendeteksian topik dengan clustering. Deep Embedded Clustering (DEC) dan Improved DEC (IDEC) adalah model clustering berbasis deep learning yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk pendeteksian topik. DEC dan IDEC mampu mengubah data ke dalam ruang dimensi yang lebih rendah serta mengoptimalkan cluster secara simultan. Output dari teknik clustering berupa kata-kata kunci yang menggambarkan setiap topik cluster. Setelah mendapat kata kunci yang mewakili topik, evaluasi model dilakukan dengan melakukan perbandingan nilai topic coherence menggunakan Topic Coherence - Word2Vec (TC-W2V) sebagai analisis kuantitatif. Penelitian ini merupakan perluasan dari penerapan DEC dan IDEC pada pendeteksian topik dengan menambahkan analisis visualisasi dan kata kunci. Simulasi menunjukkan bahwa DEC dan IDEC mengungguli Uniform Manifold  Approximation and Projection (UMAP)-based k-means (UKM) dan Eigenspace-Based Fuzzy C-Means (EFCM) dari segi nilai TC-W2V, hasil visualisasi, dan kata kunci.   Kata kunci: analisis teks, deep clustering, pemrosesan teks

Abstract

In this research a new chaotic map which is a modification from composition of MS map and Improved logistics map is proposed. New map’s chaotic behavior is proven by the bifurcation diagram and Lyapunov exponent. This map will be used in chaos-based cryptography as a keystream generator and then it will be processed in the encryption and decryption algorithms through XOR operations. The results of the encryption and decryption processes were evaluated by several tests such as key sensitivity analysis, histogram analysis, correlation analysis, and image quality analysis. All the tests are doing to evaluate the performance new chaotic map in encryption of digital color image. Based on the results of several tests, a conclusion can be drawn that the encryption and decryption process is successful and difficult to attack with various kinds of attacks. The key that built from new chaotic map has a good sensitivity.
