Abstract

The development of the urea fertilizer industry in increasing fertilizer production has had negative impacts, especially related to the increase in ammonia waste which can endanger the health of local communities. To overcome this, a warning system was developed that can monitor and manage the spread of ammonia in the environment. This system uses data analysis methods and sensor technology to detect dangerous ammonia levels and provide real-time information to the public. With a warning system in place, companies can take immediate action to control waste, prevent further negative impacts, and support sustainability efforts. Apart from that, this system also increases public awareness of the importance of maintaining air quality and health, as well as encouraging company transparency regarding the resulting environmental impacts. It is also hoped that the community's active role in monitoring can strengthen relations between the company and local residents.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis works with calculating the total of reviews based on given labels. Reviews that had specific labels would be classified with other reviews that had same labels. This study used Support Vector Machine (SVM) method for analysing of reviews of Google Maps users who had visited Jogja City Mall in Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta. In previous studies, SVM was proved several times superior in accuracy score and the accuracy of sentiment classification. SVM model for sentiment analysis in this study was successfully created with accuracy score was 84% and 85% in K-Folds testing. With the total of testing data was 20% out of 1694 data, the total amount of positive label was so much more than the total amount of negatif label. This means the rate of 4.6 stars for Jogja City Mall is relevant with the reviews that were given. The analysis of imbalance review data and the correlation between the stars rating and sentiment that were extracted may contribute to a deeper understanding of consumer behavior in the mall, providing practical implications for mall management in improving customer experience.

Abstract

Medication compliance is essential to support the recovery of one's health. Prescribed medication for patients should be taken in accordance with the instructions, such as taking it after a meal, so patients should adhere to these guidelines for the medication to work optimally. Typically, medication reminder devices that have been designed continuously sound alarms until the user takes the medication. This allows users to meet the requirements before taking the medication, for example, having a meal if necessary. This medication reminder device is built with a snooze button that allows users to postpone the alarm so they can complete the necessary tasks before taking the medication. It also features LED lights to indicate the medication box that needs to be taken. The LCD displays real-time information, the next medication time, and the type of medication to be taken. The result of creating this device is that it can activate alarms according to the specified schedule and activate the LED lights corresponding to the medication box to be taken. The snooze function works when the snooze button is pressed and when the medication is not taken for 1 minute. After being postponed, the alarm will reactivate after 3 minutes. Additionally, notifications are also successfully sent to the Telegram application connected to the device. There is a delay of approximately 15-30 seconds when activating the alarm. Messages are sent to Telegram at three (3) times.

Abstract

Based on data from the national waste information system, total waste in Indonesia in 2022 will be 36.1 million tons per year. Referring to this data, there is still a lack of waste processing and requires quite large costs for waste processing resulting from the increase in population, changes in consumption patterns and people's lifestyles. As a solution, researchers have developed a tool to make 3D printing filament using used bottles as the main material. The tool is equipped with a stepper motor that controls the process of winding plastic bottle tape into 3D printing filament. Regulating the rotation of the stepper motor and controlling the tool as a whole uses an Arduino UNO microcontroller and a potentiometer. Based on research results, on PET and PP bottles, speed control results were obtained for PET bottles using a speed of 49 rpm, the results obtained were good with a diameter of 1.75 mm. and for pp bottles it is at a speed of 26 rpm. For the PP type, good quality filament results were obtained with a diameter of 1.75 mm. in further research to use PID control so that PWM changes are more stable for motor rotation, use a power supply with a more stable output, and determine the right angle for cutting plastic bottles to produce the same cut.

Abstract

Smart village bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan salah satunya melalui aplikasi pengaduan masyarakat berbasis teknologi. Di Desa Somawangi, Banjarnegara, pengaduan masyarakat masih dicatat secara manual, sehingga membutuhkan waktu lebih dari dua minggu untuk memproses laporan pengaduan. Hal ini menyulitkan pemerintah desa dalam mengelola pengaduan dan masyarakat tidak dapat memantau status pengaduannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan membangun aplikasi pengaduan berbasis mobile dengan Location Based Service (LBS). Dengan aplikasi ini diharapkan masyarakat dapat menyampaikan pengaduan tanpa harus datang ke kantor desa, serta membantu pemerintah desa dalam mengelola dan menindaklanjuti pengaduan dengan lebih terkoordinasi. Perancangan sistem pada penelitian ini menggunakan Unified Modelling Language (UML) dengan implementasi aplikasi menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java dan PHP. Aplikasi Android dan web yang dihasilkan memungkinkan masyarakat untuk melaporkan permasalahan dengan lokasi secara real-time. Aplikasi Android yang diakses masyarakat dilengkapi dengan fitur status pengaduan sehingga masyarakat dapat memantau status pengaduan. Sementara pemerintah desa menggunakan aplikasi web untuk mengelola data pengaduan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbandingan yang signifikan antara sistem pengaduan masyarakat sebelum dan sesudah implementasi aplikasi, dimana masyarakat tidak perlu datang ke kantor desa untuk melakukan pengaduan dan dapat mengirim pengaduan secara online menggunakan aplikasi sehingga dapat langsung terdata oleh pemerintah desa dan dapat segera diproses dalam waktu yang sama.

Abstract

The grocery retail sector in Indonesia plays an important role in meeting people's basic needs, with grocery merchants in urban and rural areas serving as the main middlemen in the distribution of staples to end consumers. Grocery merchants in Indonesia often face challenges in improving sales efficiency due to the use of conventional methods that are slow, unstructured, and prone to recording errors. These challenges can potentially lead to loss of customers, financial losses, and hinder business growth. This research aims to develop an Android-based cashier application specifically designed for grocery merchants to improve transaction efficiency and stock management. Using a qualitative approach, in-depth interviews were conducted to understand the needs and constraints faced by merchants in the transaction process. The findings were used to design the main features of the application, such as CRUD-based item management (Create, Read, Update, Delete), barcode scanning with a smartphone camera, digital receipt sending via WhatsApp, and payment support via QRIS E-wallet and cash transactions. This application is assumed to be used on Android devices with adequate internet access. The results show that this application is able to reduce recording errors, speed up transactions, and increase customer satisfaction compared to the manual method. The solution is expected to improve productivity, drive business growth, service quality and customer satisfaction as well as the competitiveness of grocers in the digital era. Future recommendations include the development of analytics features to monitor sales performance and support strategic decision-making

Abstract

 Food crops, horticulture, rice, and secondary crops are grown on 12 hectares of agricultural land in the Pagergunung I and Pagergunung II Hamlets of Sitimulyo District. The primary issue that farmers deal with is the scarcity of water, particularly during the dry season. Commonly, diesel engines are used for water management because there are no electrical sources near agricultural land, resulting in the overall waterneeds not being fulfilled and may lead to the degradation of agricultural land. The goal of this community service initiative is to construct an irrigation system using submersible water pumps that are powered by Internet of Things (IoT)-based New Renewable Energy (EBT) technology. Consequently, the farmers in Pagergunung I and Pagergunung II Hamlets are able to overcome their challenges thanks to the creation of this system. An Arduino microcontroller served as the control center for the irrigation system’s design, a selenoid valve opened and closed water channels, solar panels provided electrical power, and the Ubidots application served as the system’s user interface. The activity’s outcomes demonstrate that solar panels can provide electricity when it is sunny, that irrigation management can be controlled with applications, and that the constructed irrigation system can irrigate agricultural land uniformly.

Abstract

Having limited knowledge about balanced nutrition for the body can be an obstacle for many people in their efforts to live a healthy lifestyle. Due to not calculating calorie intake properly, it can potentially experience conditions where daily calorie intake does not match the needs, either deficiency or excess. This research aims to develop a daily calorie requirement calculation feature and daily nutrient intake calculation that allows users to calculate the calorie and nutrient intake of foods that have been consumed every day. The algorithm applied in calculating daily calorie needs in this study is using the Mifflin-St Jeor algorithm. System design in this study uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) with implementation using Kotlin programming language and Android Studio software. The result of this research is a daily calorie requirement calculation feature where users can calculate daily calorie requirements based on physical information data filled in by users as well as calculating daily nutritional intake by adding foods consumed, then the available features can calculate calories and nutritional content of foods that have been added by users so that users can find out how many total calories and nutritional content of foods that have been consumed by them. Calculations using the Mifflin-St Jeor algorithm resulted in the conclusion that a person's basic daily calorie needs can vary depending on body weight, height, age, and gender.

Abstract

The culinary industry is one of the sectors that has been able to survive during the Covid-19 pandemic, including catering services. Sari Rahayu 3 Restaurant in Banjarnegara is one of the catering service providers that still faces the problem of manual ordering via SMS or telephone, where orders are recorded on notes or books. This process requires more time, energy, and costs, resulting in errors in writing order details and human error. In addition, promotion still relies on word of mouth, so that the reach of information to the wider community is limited. This study aims to build an android mobile-based e-catering application that can facilitate online ordering for customers and help catering owners manage orders through a web platform. This study applies the Content-Based Filtering method to provide menu recommendations based on customer preferences such as category, price, stock and discounts using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) for system design and implemented with the Java and PHP programming languages. The stages of this research include problem identification, data collection, analysis of the running system, analysis and design of the proposed system, application implementation, and system testing. The final result of this research is an android mobile-based food ordering e-catering application with personalized menu selection features based on customer preferences, order quantity settings, and notifications when the order is successful as well as a website-based application that can be used by catering owners to manage orders. System testing shows that the application successfully runs according to the expected functionality and can improve the user experience in ordering food catering.

Abstract

The declining interest in learning Javanese among primary and secondary school students is the focus of government and educator evaluation, as it is important to maintain the sustainability of the use of regional languages as an integral part of Indonesia's cultural identity. The still conservative nature of Javanese language learning is a consideration for the digitisation of teaching modules. The revival of Javanese pepak aims to revive the cultural wealth contained in various linguistic and literary aspects, such as tembang macapat, folk legends and the unggah-ungguh basa system, which reflects manners in communication. As Javanese culture itself is closely linked to the value system, philosophy of life and social norms, efforts to preserve it through technological innovation are very relevant. By applying the Content Structuring & Delivering by Modular Learning method, this application presents various features such as automatic translation, Javanese language levels (ngoko, madya and krama) and interactive quizzes, which can expand the accessibility of Javanese language learning. So far, a Javanese language (Pepak) learning support module in the form of an application is still not common. Therefore, this research aims to respond to these needs by developing a digital platform that will become one of the students' access points in learning Javanese through mobile devices. In this study, the application was developed using the Kotlin programming language with a localhost database, MySQL. System Usability Scale (SUS) test results show that the Jawa Jaya application is in the Acceptable (High) category with an adjective rating of Good and a score of 72.
