Abstract

One of the factors that made the group of mothers of the Islamic Association of Sukmajaya Wives in Depok not perfect in selling products, was the lack of knowledge about product diversity. Insight into product diversity can improve product quality, is still low and access to technology is still lacking. An introduction to knowledge of product diversity is needed to be developed to support the family's economy and support the group's independent business. The aim of the training activities is to provide understanding, knowledge and skills of the Persistri Women Group in Sukmajaya Depok District in conducting practices and activities in making handicraft accessories through the Pinterest application to further empower themselves so as to help improve entrepreneurial skills. The method of implementation in this community service program is through the introduction and assistance in the manufacture of handicraft accessories through the Pinterest application. From the results of the evaluation with the Chairperson of Persistri and the participants, training and mentoring on the introduction of Pinterest applications are very useful because in addition to knowing the various types of products. They can also look for various product references in accordance with their interests and even look for other products that can be used as examples and applied to the products they are interested in. Training activities are expected to not only be carried out with brooch accessory products, but also training of other products.

Abstract

Waste management is a social problem that needs to be addressed to foster a positive attitude toward the need to develop waste management. Campaigns through social media need to be evaluated for their benefits. Only a few studies have evaluated the impact of exposure and presentation of information conveyed via social media. This study aims to see the effect of exposure and presentation of information from @waste4change delivered through Instagram on user attitudes. The population is social media users, and a sample of 100 users is taken. The research used a survey with purposive sampling techniques, and the questionnaires were distributed through social media. The results show that exposure and information presentation significantly influence user attitudes. In addition, the presentation of information in this study showed the role of valence and weight of information. The findings confirm the role of Instagram platform content in providing education.

Abstract

Responsible cultural tourism requires a sustainable approach that includes preserving cultural values while promoting economic and environmental sustainability. This study examines why the Lasem Heritage Foundation chose digital storytelling as a form of sustainable communication for managing cultural tourism and how it aligns with sustainable communication principles. Using a case study approach and qualitative methods, data were collected through interviews, observation, and literature review. Findings indicate that digital storytelling is an effective approach to managing cultural tourism for the Lasem Heritage Foundation, as it provides lasting impact and message amplification. Their Instagram and Website with "Kesengsem Lasem" as tourism branding have helped the foundation communicate and amplify their cultural values to the public and promote sustainable tourism practices to wider audiences. Furthermore, The foundation's use of digital storytelling as a sustainable communication approach in managing cultural tourism effectively conveys lasting messages and helps reinforce the cultural values and environmental sustainability of the destination. These include (1) Ecological Trust in their website articles, (2) ecological access in their Social Business Programs, (3) ecological disclosures in the use of Instagram and Website as the leading platform of digital storytelling & communication tools with all stakeholders, and (4) ecological dialogues in their preservation class, series of learning clinic, and a particular program called to travel for all. Future research should expand the number of informants and consider additional data collection methods such as focus group discussions and content analysis of digital platforms.
