Abstract

AbstractWriting is a postive activity that needs to be developed since childhood. Currently there are many writing competitions among children or school students. Many writing contest on the blog, which is a combination of writing and utilization of information technology. However, there are still many Indonesian children who still do not have a habit of writing, because of this reason, PKM team UPN "Veteran" Jakarta do community service by conducting writing training through blogs, writing on their own blog is a combination of writing habits and utilization of information technology (IT ). Program Result of Community Activities in MTs. Al Amanah Sawangan- Depok succeeded in fostering the creativity of students in writing, especially writing on blogs. The method used during the training to create a blog is a lesson study, which has three stages of activity and there is a process evaluation of the stages that have been implemented, and has the nature of repetitive (cycle). Based on PKM activities that have been done, it is still necessary community service workers who can participate to help improve the creativity of children, especially writing habits, and explore it technology by exposing the article through the blog. Writing on blogs not only develops writing skills, it is possible to follow many of the competitions that are associated with blogs, with many interesting prizes, and can also promise as a bloggers profession. Keywords: blog, information technology, writing AbstrakMenulis adalah suatu kegiatan posistif yang perlu dikembangkan sejak kecil. Saat ini sudah banyak kompetisi menulis di kalangan anak-anak atau siswa sekolah. Dan juga maraknya lomba penulisan didalam blog, yang merupakan perpaduan kegiatan menulis dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Akan tetapi masih banyak anak-anak Indonesia yang masih belum memiliki kebiasaan menulis, karena hal tersebut tim PKM UPN “Veteran” Jakarta melakukan pengabdian masyarakat dengan mengadakan pelatihan penulisan melalui blog, menulis pada blog sendiri merupakan perpaduan antara kebiasaan menulis dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi (IT). Hasil Program Kegiatan Masyarakat di MTs. Al Amanah Sawangan-Depok berhasil menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa dalam menulis, khususnya menulis pada blog. Metode yang digunakan selama pelatihan membuat blog adalah lesson study, yang memiliki tiga tahap kegiatan dan terjadi proses evaluasi terhadap tahapan yang sudah dilaksanakan, dan memiliki sifat berulang (siklus).Berdasar kegiatan PKM yang telah dilakukan, maka masih diperlukan tenaga-tenaga pengabdian masyarakat yang dapat ikut serta membantu meningkatkan kreatifitas anak-anak khususnya kebiasaan menulis, serta memanfaatkan teknologi dengan mengekspos tulisan tersebut melalui blog. Menulis di blog tidak hanya mengembangkan kemampuan menulis, akan tetapi memungkinkan mengikuti banyak kompetisi yang dilakukan yang berhubungan dengan blog, dengan berbagai hadiah yang menarik, serta dapat menjanjikan juga sebagai profesi penulis blog (blogger). Kata kunci: blog, menulis, teknologi informasi

Abstract

In order to improve the welfare of rural communities in Indonesia, development needs to be carried out in various aspects to catch up. Ministry of Rural as the ministry responsible for development in the village has socialized the program through website kemendesa.go.id. The website provides information about village priority programs, utilisation of village funds, village business entities, and village superior products. Studies conducted on the villages in the area of Bogor Regency conducted to see how the utilization of information resources from Ministry of Rural through the internet media. By interviewing officials from ten villages and observation of village infrastructure means that the information submitted by Ministry of Rural through the website kemendesa.go.id has not been well received by the village officials. Still needed support from the government especially the availability of facilities that support ease of internet access.

Abstract

Television has become an effective medium to educate and provide information to the public but misused television can be a powerful medium to spread negative messages. There are several types of television shows that actually cause concern in the community because of the wrong perception that was captured from the television show. The purpose of this study is to find out how the perceptions of the Muslim community to advertising of Elastex paint products that use a mystical approach to advertising on television. This research uses qualitative research approach with descriptive method. Sampling method using judgment sampling, that is from a Muslim audience. The research data was taken through depth interview technique to 10 selected informants. The viewer's perception of the Elastex paint ad showed that most viewers deplore the existence of a rain-handler that gives the impression of being a savior from the rain in the ad, which should be a savior is the power of God. The model in the Elastex paint ad is quite interesting and credible, only a few spectators perceive that the rain-handler does not fit the real character of the shaman. Abstract

The mass media bring news about the various issues that arise in the community, including those related to communication styles of President Jokowi in communicating policies. The last case, in which ministers make "political noise" that attacked each other in front of the public, many people questioned about coordination between Jokowi and his officials. Furthermore, researchers set problems taken in the study,  1) How is the characteristic of Jokowi’s communication style in communicating policies 2) How is the communication competencies possessed by Jokowi?. Research using qualitative research methods with a macrostruktural discourse analysis approach. The population are  news about communications by President Jokowi, where the medium used is the online media. Online media selected in sampling are News.detik.com and Kompas.com which is the most popular news providers (version ALEXA per February 18, 2015). The results showed that the characteristic of Jokowi’s communication style in communicating policies in general is controlling style, although in some situations also use communication styles in accordance with existing conditions. Based on an analysis of the communication’s Jokowi in communicating policies, Jokowi’s communication competence covering aspects of commitment and confidence, empathy, flexibility, senstivity of  consequences, and proficiency.

Abstract

Electronic commerce (e-commerce) touches almost all types of products and services. The increasing volume of online transactions online has raised consumer concerns about the data that has been given, what the company actually do with the information collected and eventually have access to it. Privacy issues have been identified as an important thing for consumers. The perception of online transaction security is also becoming a more important concern. Furthermore, we want to know how consumer security and privacy issues of consumers influence on brand loyalty, also be seen how the role of brand trust as a mediating relationship between consumer safety and brand loyalty, and relationships between consumer privacy and brand loyalty. This research is a quantitative survey method, in an effort to develop an empirical model to test the effect of consumer privacy and security consumers on brand loyalty. Samples used 100 peoples, drawn from the public to the age of 15-64 years (working age) in the region Sawangan - Depok. Analysis of data using regression analysis with SPSS program package. The results show that the consumer security and consumer privacy each affects brand loyalty, and there is a mediator in the influencing consumer privacy on brand loyalty, it means that the existence of brand trust will reduce the influence of consumer privacy on brand loyalty.

Abstract

Dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah, penulis harus mengikuti sistematika yang telah ditetapkan, apalagi jika ditujukan untuk publikasi jurnal. Bagi penulis sendiri merupakan suatu kebanggaan dan prestasi jika dapat mempublikasikan artikelnya pada jurnal yang ‘bereputasi’. Kegiatan pendampingan bertujuan memberi bekal pengetahuan penulisan artikel ilmiah kepada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Al- Karimiyah, Depok. Mahasiswa target sasaran kegiatan berada pada tahapan usai penelitian terkait tugas akhir. Pemanfaatan hasil penelitian yang dimiliki melalui publikasi artikel ilmiah, dapat diakses dan bermanfaat bagi masysrakat luas. Metode pendampingan dilakukan secara online, melalui webinar dengan proses interaktif. Berdasar pengetahuan yang diperoleh dari hasil penyuluhan, selanjutnya mahasiswa mencoba membuat sebuah artikel ilmiah dan melakukan proses publikasi. Disebabkan periode waktu yang cukup singkat dalam pendampingan, tidak banyak mahasiswa yang dapat menyelesaikan artikelnya. Akan tetapi tetap ada yang dapat menyelesaikan artikelnya dengan pendampingan yang diberikan, dan telah melakukan proses submit ke jurnal tujuan.

Abstract

Along with the development of technology and mass media, Change.org appears in the form of websites that become to a medium for the forming of the public opinion, raising the opinions through campaigns that seeks the support of public opinion raised. This study to confirm how age and education level influencing the form of perceptions and public opinion through Change.org. This research using survey with explanitative approach, a research sampling are 200 people from Change.org users was taken with multistage cluster sampling technique with population at DKI Jakarta area. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that age and education do not affect perception and also public opinion forming. This shows that with internet-based media the acceptance of information becomes more similar and individual differences, especially age and education, are not to be an obstacle in adjusting existing public opinion.Keywords: age, education, change.org, perception, public opinion. ABSTRAKSeiring dengan perkembangan teknologi dan media massa, Change.org muncul dalam bentuk situs yang menjadi media pembentukan opini publik, penggalangan opini dilakukan melalui kampanye yang berusaha meminta dukungan terhadap opini publik yang dimunculkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari apakah usia dan Pendidikan berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan persepsi dan opini publik melalui media Change.org. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey yang bersifat eksplanatif, dengan sampel sejumlah 200 orang dari pengguna Change.org dengan pengambilan sample menggunakan teknik cluster sampling bertahap dari populasi di area DKI Jakarta. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasilnya menyatakan bahwa usia dan pendidikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan persepsi dan juga opini publik. Hal ini menunjukkan dengan adanya media berbasis internet penerimaan informasi menjadi lebih seragam dan perbedaan individu khususnya usia dan pendidikan tidak menjadi kendala dalam penyesuaian opini publik yang ada.Kata kunci: change.org, opini publik, pendidikan, persepsi, usia
