Abstract

ABSTRACTThe area of reclamation and revegetation in farmer coal mine has one role as bird habitat. The purpose of this study was to determine indicators of the types of bird that can progress successed reclamation and revegetation program in habitat function of fauna. The method used was bird species and bottom vegetation identification I in each habitat type used transect and mistnet. The data was analyzed using multivariate analysis of hDCCA. The results using hDCCA preedicted that the key indicator of bird characteristics that marks the development of succession in the fifth year is the presence of “insectivore bird” type. Bird species were B15 (Lanius schach), B20 (Prinia flaviventris), B23 (Picoides moluccensis), B28 (Pachychepala hypoxantha), B29 (Rhipidura javanica), B30 (Orthotomus ruficeps), B31 (Orthotomus sericeus). Keywords: hDCCA, insectivore bird, key indicator, reclamation and revegetation,

Abstract

Bioremediation is defined as biological degradation process of organic or inorganic wastes in a controlledcondition to control and reduce their amount in the environment. In this study, the soil which had been polutedby heavy petroleum oil fractions, i.e. heavy oil waste (HOW), was used as sample. The bioremediationtechnique used in this study is an ex-situ technique. This study was conducted to determine the amount ofproduced CO2 gas during the HOW degaradation process. Treatment of heavy oil waste with biostimulation andbioaugmentation. Production of CO2 gas were placed in impiger and analysis with titrimetry method. The highestCO2 production mean was obtained from the bioaugmentation treatment with compost adding, i.e. 244,5 mg/m3.Generally, graphs CO2 gas production followed a similar sinusoidal pattern. From these results it can beinfered that the degradation process of HOW happened during the treatments in aerobic condition.

Abstract

The heavy oil waste (HOW) containing polyaromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs) is a persistent organic pollutants (POPs) that difficult to degrade. The new PAH degrading consortium was investigated from HOW contaminated soil in North Sumatera of Indonesia. The isolation, selection and identification of polyaromatic hydrocarbon degrading bacteria from soil contaminated by HOW was conducted to solve a bioremediation process. The isolation microbes from soil contaminated by HOW was performed using a minimum ONR7a media and followed on marine agar media for purification purposes. From the performed isolation results, 11 isolates were able to degrade PAHs compounds, such as phenanthrene, dibenzothiophene, or fluorene compounds. They grew at pH range of 4.8-8.2 and performed on emulsification activity in paraffin from 0.150-0.662. Three of them showed the best performance on HOW biodegradation capability and then successfully selected and identified as Salipiger sp., Bacillus altitudinis, and Ochrobactrum anthropi. using 16S rDNA. The HOW biodegradation as TPH-degradation were 38.66%, 59.60%, and 47.16%, respectively. Those isolated bacteria could potentially be as bioremediation agents to develop on bioremediation process for soils contaminated by HOW.

Abstract

Abstract

The hotel business, which deals with accommodation, is the same as other industries. It has been growing and there are more and more hotel buildings in every place, both in big cities and small towns. Hospitality companies are competing with each other for market share, which demands better service quality. If the hospitality industry is able to create customer satisfaction, it will create a good relationship between the company and its customers. This provides a good basis for repeat purchases and the creation of customer loyalty. Customer loyalty or consumer loyalty is a measure of consumer loyalty to the use of a brand. Companies need to prioritize strategies by trying to create customer loyalty. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and customer delight on customer loyalty at Bidakara Savoy Homan Hotel Bandung. The research method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. While this research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The sampling chosen is purposive random sampling, the data collected is then managed and analyzed using statistical tests. And the results of the analysis of service quality and customer delight, the t-count value is 2.149 and the t-table is 1.98, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H2 is accepted and the sig value is 2.149 1.98 with a significance result of 0.035 0.050, which means that there is a significant influence between customer delight on customer loyalty, the F-count value is 12. 967 and F-table 3.09, this means that the F-count value is greater than the F-table value (12.967 3.09), with significant results (0.037 0.050), so it can be concluded that accepting H3 rejects Ho, which means that Service Quality and Customer Delight together have an effect on Customer Loyalty.

Abstract

The use of water is highly needed for human primary needs and industry. Thus, the government issued a policy related to the function of regulating groundwater taxes to regulate the use of groundwater to make it in harmony with the sustainability of the preservation of water resources. The regulatory function of groundwater tax is not optimal and tax collection plays a greater role in local government revenue, so it does not support the conservation function of water sources. Thus, this research is important for researchers to formulate ‘what is the role of the regular function of the groundwater tax that applies in Indonesia?’ and ‘what is the regulatory model which can synergize groundwater taxes with water resource conservation?’ This research uses several methods in data collection and compilation. The approach method used in this study is normative juridical under qualitative data analysis. The analytical descriptive method is employed to comprehensively describe and systematically examine primary and secondary data, which then analyzes the research object to provide a clear picture connected to relevant legal theories to find the government policy as the concept of thought. The research result showed that the function of the groundwater tax regulerend has not played a role in the conservation of water resources. The role of regular function of groundwater tax requires it to be used to control the sustainable use of groundwater for the greatest prosperity of the people, both now and in the future. Through "emarking or emarked tax," a groundwater management model that synergizes with soil conservation can be applied. This means that groundwater tax revenue is allocated for the conservation or restoration of water resources due to groundwater utilization.
