Abstract

The need for electricity in Bali is increasing along with the growth of technology and developmentin Bali, so the quality of electricity distribution to customers must also be improved. This study took anexample from the 2018 case, Palapa Feeder used 2 reclosers which had an index value that did not meetthe standard of the reliability index value. When the Palapa Feeder only used LBS, SAIFI value was2.1055 and SAIDI was 7.2960, when the LBS was changed to recloser the SAIFI value was 1.203 andSAIDI was 4.091. When a recloser was added again the SAIFI value became 1.016 and SAIDI became3.4088. The use of 2 reclosers on a feeder is less effective, because if they are placed at a close distance,then there will be two devices work simultaneously when there is a disturbance so that the area which isnot affected by the disturbance will also experience a power outage. Therefore it is necessary to design arecloser placement point in order to obtain lower reliability index value in order to meet the PLN standard(SPLN) No. 68-2: 1986, World Class Company standards, World Class Service standards, and alsoobtained the optimum recloser location and more efficient.The design of recloser placement is carried out using the Quantum Genetic Algorithm method,which is an evolutionary algorithm based on the concept of quantum bits (qubits). The purpose of thismethod is to minimize the SAIDI and SAIFI value in order to obtain lower reliability index and meet thestandards in order to obtain an optimum recloser location. The results of the recloser placement designusing the QGA method show that the local optimum recloser location is in section 2 at point 56 with thehighest fitness value is 4.9715 and a SAIDI value is 1.8951 decreased by 44.4% and SAIFI value is 0.9978decreased by 1, 78%, and it is proven that the recloser placement design using the QGA method hassucceeded in obtaining local optimum with better SAIDI SAIFI index results and has met the PLN (SPLN)standard No. 68-2: 1986 with SAIDI 3,33 and SAIFI 1,2 and also meets World Class Company and WorldClass Service standards with SAIFI 3 (times/customer/year) and SAIDI 1,66 (hours/customer/year).

Abstract

In everyday life we often use the name LPG gas even as basic needs. However, in its use itcan pose a threat because of a large enough LPG gas. The occurrence of gas leaks when there areno people around the leak is very difficult to detect especially lethal substances contained in LPG gas.To reduce fires caused by LPG gas leaks, a monitoring system is needed to monitor if a leakoccurs.The prototype method for monitoring room temperature and gas detector leak using theArduino uno 328 mitrocontroller by connecting ESP8266 for wifi connection. ESP8266 will send datawhen the MQ2 sensor reads a gas leak, as well as changes in room temperature that is read by theDHT11 sensor by sending the sensor reading data to Arduino ATmega 328 first to be processed intothe response data of the device and data that will be displayed on the blynk application.The result ofthe achievement of this research is that the measurement of leaky gas using the MQ2 sensor canalready be displayed using the avo meter by obtaining the voltage results. Real gas leakagemeasurements in the field can be displayed on mobile phones through the Blynk application media.The leaked gas graph can be displayed in the Blynk application by getting the minimum andmaximum results. The ESP8266 module must be located in an area or location that has a Wi-finetwork in order to send notifications properly according to the instructions on Arduino ATmega 328.

Abstract

This research intends to build an automatic weather monitoring device based on microcontroller that can monitor changes in temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind direction and velocity through the sensors that have been placed on the weather monitoring location. The flexibility of this weather monitoring tool is intended to allow weather forecaster operators to monitor weather and process data from anywhere. To increase the flexibility of the sensor data processed on wemos microcontroller will be connected with access points in 2.4 GHz wireless network, then the data will be sent to the web server. Sensor data in addition to sent to the internet will also be stored on the SD Card as a data backup system in the form of data loggers. The device test results state that the tool has been operating properly and can be used to monitor the weather.

Abstract

This research was conducted to obtain the optimal DG location with the aim of minimizing power losses in feeders. Penyulang Abang has a length of 207,946 kms with power losses of 1,105 MW. One way to reduce power losses is to install distributed generation. Distributed generation is installed in four Abang feeder locations. Optimization is done by using the Quantum Genetic Algorithm (QGA) method. Quantum Genetic Algorithm is an evolutionary algorithm. Genetic Quantum Method Algorithms are based on the concept of quantum bits (qubit) and the superposition of quantum mechanical forms. The purpose of this method is to select the best results from the results obtained. The final result of the QGA method is the most efficient distributed generation and capacity placed in several Abang feeder locations, namely buses 1, 5, 7 and 302 with capacities of 0.374 MW, 1,894 MW, 1,988 MW and 0.500 MW, respectively. So that the power losses are reduced to 0.234 MW.

Abstract

This study optimized the installation of capacitors on the distribution grid system in Penyabangan feeder, Singaraja, Bali using the Quantum Genetic Algorithm method to reduce the impact of increasing reactive currents. This feeder, consisting of 162 buses in which 62 buses are directly connected to the load and 5 buses are connected to medium voltage cosumers. The results of this study are obtained by the capacity of capacitors installed in 31 buses that have a power factor value less than the permitted limit and the power loss values decrease from 0,0674 MW and 0,0546 MVAr to 0,0543 MW and 0,0442 MVAr.

Abstract

Bali Province is one of the provinces with densely populated areas, hence the availabilityof electricity is very important for life sustainability. In this research, electricity demandforecasting was conducted in Bali Province for the period of 2020-2030. The method used toforecast was neural network which has the advantage of being able to do an adaptive learningbased on the data used for training. In this forecasting process that used neural network, theneural network toolbox (nntool) on MATLAB 2013a was used. Network architecture used wasfeed-forward backpropagation. In this research, layer combination applied was 4 – 12 – 1, with4 input data such as population, PDRB, PDRB per capita and IHK. Network parameter appliedin this research was training function TRAINGDX, activation function TANSIG and PURELIN(output), performance function MSE and learning function TRAINGD. The final result of BaliProvince electricity demand forecasting in 2020 the demand for electricity is 5772 GWh, in 2025it will increase to 6523 GWh and in 2030 become 8551 GWh. This forecasting MAPE againtsthe RUKN 2019 result was 3.29%, which is under the PLN regulation that is 10%.

Abstract

Aplikasi-aplikasi baru berbasis teknologi canggih diciptakan guna mempercepat dan mempermudah kinerja manusia untuk melakukan sesuatu di berbagai bidang, salah satunya sistem parkir yang memanfaatkan teknik pengenalan pola dalam teknik pengolahan citra digital. Umumnya, pada sistem parkir manual kecepatan pelayanan loket tergantung pada kecepatan petugas dalam membaca dan menginputkan data identitas kendaraaan ke sistem, sehingga dilakukan penelitian tentang sistem pendeteksian posisi plat kendaraan bermotor menggunakan teknik pengolahan citra digital dengan memanfaatkan Metode Transformasi Hough. Hasil unjuk kerja pada simulasi pendeteksian plat nomor kendaraan dari citra kendaraan berdasarkan tiga skenario berbeda didapatkan hasil terbaik menggunakan skenario gabungan vertikal dan horizontal dengan keberhasilan sistem dalam mendeteksi 20 citra sampel adalah 95% dan persentase kegagalan 5%.

Abstract

Tanah longsor merupakan bencana alam yang tidak dapat dicegah. Di indonesia, frekuensi terjadinya tanah longsor masih cukup tinggi. Walaupun tidak dapat dicegah, namun upaya untuk meminimalisir kerugian yang diakibatkan oleh tanah longsor dapat dilakukan dengan memasang alat peringatan dini bahaya tanah longsor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang early warning system menggunakan ATmega328 dengan sensor hygrometer dan sensor piezoelectric. Sistem ini memiliki tiga status yaitu aman, waspada dan awas. Persentase kelembaban tanah dan pergerakan tanah dapat dipantau melalui smartphone dan pada situs www.thingspeak.com. Sistem akan mengirim sms ketika status longsor awas.Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan sistem yang dibuat sudah mampu mengirim data sensor ke web server ThingSpeak secara realtime, mengirim sms himbauan terkait status bahaya dan menghidupkan buzzer ketika status awas

Abstract

Hotel management to monitor the energy to know the electrical energy consumption at the hotel. Energy monitoring is carried out in order to achieve the efficient use of electrical energy, for accurate energy monitoring requires a tool that can monitor the power consumption in real time and store on digital media or database so easy to access. Data stored on the database using the help of microcontroller and Ethernet Shiled connected to the LAN network. The sensors used in this research are voltage down 220VAC: 9VAC and current sensors with maximum current capacity of 100 A. The result of data recording is the highest current sensor deviation of 2.4% and the highest voltage sensor deviation is 0.4%.

Abstract

This research is conducted to detect cigarette smoke based on a microcontroller usingMQ-2 sensor equipped with an exhaust fan. This system has three status namely good smokelevel, moderate smoke level and unhealthy smoke level. The concentration of smoke detectedcan be monitored by a smartphone, in which the system will send a message via telegramwhen the room is detected by cigarette smoke. Based on the research that has been done, thesystem made has been able to send the smoke concentration data to telegram, the detectedsmoke concentration level and turn on the buzzer and the DC Fan when the smokeconcentration status is in moderate level around 100 - 400 ppm and in unhealthy level around> 400 ppm. Furthermore, it has been also able to send the comparison of energyconsumption, when both of the fans are off, the energy consumption is 2.42 Wh, and whenboth of the fans are on, then the energy consumption is 9.44 Wh.
