Abstract

Abstract

A one-axis shaking table soil liquefaction simulator is utilized to study soil behaviour and characteristics, enabling efforts to mitigate liquefaction-indicated soil behaviour. Traditionally, the process of measuring and documenting building settlement, which is a soil variable that indicates liquefaction, involves the use of a pen, paper, and measuring instrument. Therefore, build a measurement system consisting of LVDT displacement sensors and NI cRIO-9025 as the main components, along with LabVIEW software as a novel medium to acquire, process, display, and record measurement data to provide increased measurement accuracy equivalent to traditional instruments. The soil used as material in the test was represented by silica sand with a density percentage of 40-70%. By utilizing the measurement system uses a linear regression scaling method with a sampling time implemented during testing with 100 ms or 10 data/second and descriptive statistical analysis, the soil liquefaction simulator achieves precision with an average measurement error of ±0.89 mm and a reporting operational time efficiency rate of 95.80%. Thus, the accuracy rate of the simulator with the method used in the system is 96.31%.

Abstract

The liquefaction simulator tool uses a one-axis shaking table model to determine soil features and behaviour that indicate liquefaction. This helps in implementing measures to mitigate its effects. The research system incorporates a frequency regulation system to control the speed of the 3-phase motor and a measurement system that monitors various variables associated with liquefaction. The variables include displacement, rocking table motion, acceleration, vibration frequency, and pore water pressure. This study used LabVIEW for frequency adjustment, data acquisition, processing, and presentation. LabVIEW improved the observations' accuracy using the linear regression method and descriptive statistical analysis at the data processing stage. The error value for the frequency adjustment without load was 1.65%, which increased to 8.75% when a load was applied. This study achieved a displacement measurement accuracy of 99.03% and an average pore water pressure measurement accuracy of 95.69%. The measurement accuracy of the accelerometer and accelerometer vibration frequency reached 66.98%.

Abstract

This research delves into the legal implications of Constitutional Court Decision No. 91/PUU- XVIII/2020, focusing on its impact on the inconsistency of Law Number 11 of 2020 and the resulting legal effects. Employing a juridical normative approach, the study examines legal concepts, principles, and regulations. The findings reveal that the Constitutional Court's conditional declaration of unconstitutionality for Law Number 11 of 2020 stems from discrepancies in its formation concerning clarity of purpose, formulation, and transparency, as stipulated by Law Number 12 of 2011 on the Formation of Legislation. The legal effects of Decision No. 91/PUU-XVIII/2020 on Law Number 11 of 2020 within Indonesia's legal system are significant. During the two-year rectification period, it retains legal status and is recorded in the Official Gazette. If no rectification occurs within two years, Law Number 11 of 2020 becomes permanently unconstitutional, and the prior laws it amended or replaced are reinstated. In conclusion, several recommendations are made: The Constitutional Court should issue clear, unambiguous verdicts for legal certainty. The public and academia should monitor government and legislative activities to uphold constitutional principles. This research sheds light on the legal implications of Constitutional Court Decision No. 91/PUU-XVIII/2020 and provides valuable guidance for Indonesia's legal and legislative stakeholders. The problem of political rights owned by former convicts arose after the enactment of PKPU No. 10 of 2023 and PKPU No. 11 of 2023 which determined that former convicts who would run for legislative candidates did not need to pass a five-year interval if they had received an additional sentence in the form of revocation of political rights. Whereas the Constitutional Court Decision No. 87/PUU-XX/2022 and Constitutional Court Decision No. 12/PUU-XXI/2023 determine that ex-convicts must pass a five-year interval, without any additional conditions. This study aims to determine the regulation of the political rights of former corruption convicts in legislative elections and to review analyze the perspective of the principles of musawa and justice on the regulation of former corruption convicts to become legislative candidates. This research uses normative legal research methods. the data used in this research uses secondary data literature legal materials. The data collected in this study were collected through documentation techniques. Based on the results of the research, it can be stated that the regulation of the political rights of former prisoners to become legislative candidates has experienced the dynamics of regulatory changes through the Election Law, Constitutional Court Decisions, Supreme Court Decisions and KPU Regulations. Supreme Court Decision No. 28 P / HUM / 2023, Constitutional Court Decision No. 87 / PUU-XX / 2022 and Constitutional Court Decision No. 12 / PUU-XXI / 2023 are in accordance with the principle of musawa in general because they have equalized the political rights of ex-corruption convicts just like other citizens.

Abstract

Clinical practitioners’ workload and challenges are significantly reduced by classifying, predicting, and localizing lesions or dental caries. In recent research, a high-reliability diagnostic system within deep learning models has been implemented in a clinical teledentistry system. In order to construct an efficient, precise, and lightweight deep learning architecture, it is dynamically structured. In this paper, we present an efficient, accurate, and lightweight deep learning architecture for augmenting spatial locations and improving the transformation modeling abilities of fixed-structure CNNs. Deformable Dense Residual (DDR) enhances the efficacy of the residual convolution block by optimizing its structure, thereby mitigating model redundancy and ameliorating the challenge of vanishing gradients encountered during the training stages. DDR Half U-Net presents notable advancements to the simplified U-Net framework across three pivotal domains: the encoder, decoder, and loss function. Specifically, the encoder integrates deformable convolutions, thereby enhancing the model's capacity to discern features of diverse scales and configurations. In the decoder, a sophisticated arrangement of dense residual connections facilitates the fusion of low-level and high-level features, contributing to comprehensive feature extraction. Moreover, the utilization of a weight-adaptive loss function ensures equitable consideration of both caries and non-caries samples, thereby promoting balanced optimization during training.

Abstract

High-reliability diagnostic equipment efficiently supported by a computer-based diagnostics system. For instance, a computational approach establishes a model that can diagnose diseases. Artificial intelligence has been applied to aid in the field of medical imaging. Classification, prediction, and localisation of lesions or dental caries greatly minimise the load and difficulties for clinical practitioners. In this study, U-Net architectures are simplified to propose the feature reduction of the decoder layers. This simplification of U-Net architectures is utilised for segmented dental caries images. This paper simplified the U-Net decoder layers into the level of blocks Half-UNet () and Half-UNet (). The Half-UNet structural model surpasses the U-shaped structural model in terms of efficiency and segmentation capabilities. The simplification of the UNet architecture outperformed using Half-UNet 0.83% of the dice coefficient. The Half-UNet design is able to preserve model performance in segmenting actual images and ground truth against expected ground truth.

Abstract

Patient safety in hospitals is a form of guarantee that care for patients becomes safer. Patient Safety Goal accreditation standards are the main thing that must be done, especially by health workers who work in hospitals, because they are closely related and will affect the quality of service in hospitals. Preliminary studies show that nurses' knowledge and compliance with implementing patient safety target standards still need to be improved. This study aimed to determine nurses' knowledge of implementing compliance with Patient Safety Goal standards according to STARKES 2022. This research design is a correlation analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The population was all nurses at the Jombang Hospital Inpatient Installation, totaling 184 respondents. The sample in this study amounted to 126 respondents, obtained through the probability sampling technique (proportionate stratified random sampling). Measuring instruments in the form of questionnaires and observation sheets. The Spearman Rho test analyzed data with p-value <α (0.05). The results showed a relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance with implementing patient safety target standards with a p-value of 0.000 <0.5, where the correlation level was 0.466. The higher the nurse's knowledge, the higher the nurse's compliance in implementing patient safety target standards.

Abstract

Lora is the solution to the problem of the need for long-distance two-way communication between machines that are targeted by IoT (Internet of Thins. LoRa has long-distance transmission capabilities, has power, and a low bit rate. Based on the needs related to LoRa, further research is needed, to analyze the performance of LoRa communication. The LoRa communication protocol will be applied to the One Duit Bogor bridge monitoring system using the Website and LabVIEW. This study used LoRa SX1276 with a frequency of 915MHz with the LoRa point-to-point method and LoRa gateway. The parameters analyzed include RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator), SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio), Delay, Throughput, and Packet loss to determine the quality of LoRa performance with TIPHON standards. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it proves that LoRa communication has good performance. In urban areas or around the Satu Duit Bogor bridge, LoRa can transmit data from a distance of 0 to 500 m with an average delay of 217 ms, an average packet loss of 10.237%, an average throughput of 137.881 bps, an average SNR of 7.54 dB, and an average RSSI of -71,798 dBm. At a distance of 0-400 m there is an insignificant change in LoRa parameters, but at a distance of 500 m a high change occurs, this is due to the fact that the distance greatly affects the transmission of data. The longer the range, the more obstacles will be passed so that data transmission is disrupted.

Abstract

Recommendation system always involves huge volumes of data, therefore it causes the scalability issues that do not only increase the processing time but also reduce the accuracy. In addition, the type of data used also greatly affects the result of the recommendations. In the recommendation system, there are two common types of data namely implicit (binary) rating and explicit (scalar) rating. Binary rating produces lower accuracy when it is not handled with the properly. Thus, optimized K-Means+ clustering and user-based collaborative filtering are proposed in this research. The K-Means clustering is optimized by selecting the K value using the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) method. The experimental result shows that the optimization of the K values produces better clustering than Elbow Method. The KMeans+ and User-Based Collaborative Filtering (UBCF) produce precision of 8.6% and f-measure of 7.2%, respectively. The proposed method was compared to DBSCAN algorithm with UBCF, and had better accuracy of 1% increase in precision value. This result proves that K-Means+ with UBCF can handle implicit feedback datasets and improve precision.
