Abstract

This study was aimed at finding out the existence of stress in work towards employees’ performance, and knowing the indicators of each shaper element of that influencing the employees’ performance of plant department of agribusiness industry at PT. NIC. The method of this study is case study involving 155 respondents. Using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), it is known that the influence of stress in work towards employees’ performance is significantly negative. It means that the advance of stress in work can take the employees’ performance down. The advance of stress in work was stimulated by stressor, in this case are job pressure and lack of support. The relationship between stressor and stress in work is positively significant. Lack of support is the most influence indicator of stressor variable instead of job pressure. This study concludes that stress in work significantly influence the employees’ performance. Generally, stress in work at plant department of PT. NIC is in low category (41.9%) and the performance is in high/good category (60.6%). It means that the existence of stress in work at this time have positive characteristics because it has played the role as motivator to work.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan faktor penting untuk memajukan peradaban suatu negara. Proses pendidikan dapat berjalan dengan baik melalui kinerja guru yang produktif. Hasil dari proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru dan peserta didik akan menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas dan mampu bersaing. Untuk itu, diperlukan komitmen guru untuk mencapai tujuan sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bahwa komitmen guru memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Jumlah responden yang diperoleh sebanyak 44 orang. Untuk mendapatkan data penelitian diperoleh melalui pembagian kuesioner, wawancara, serta dokumentasi baik secara langsung dari objek penelitian maupun dari sumber referensi yang berkaitan penelitian ini. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah komitmen guru sudah tinggi begitu juga dengan kinerja guru yang baik. Komitmen dan kinerjamemiliki hubungan yang kuat. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa komitmen guru memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.Kata kunci: Komitmen Guru, Kinerja Guru

Abstract

Digital literacy is a key 21st-century competency that plays a crucial role in shaping ethical, adaptive, and productive digital citizens. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital literacy on civic attitude, economic behavior, and mathematical communication skills of students in the Society 5.0 era. A quantitative approach was employed involving 302 students of SMK Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar, selected through stratified random sampling from a total population of 881 students. The research instrument was developed based on digital literacy theory and previous studies, while data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. The findings revealed that digital literacy has a positive and significant effect on civic attitude (path = 0.741), economic behavior (path = 0.539), and mathematical communication skills (path = 0.384). The R² values of each construct indicate that the model has a strong explanatory ability for the endogenous variables, while CA, CR, and AVE values confirm high construct reliability. Discriminant validity was also met according to the Fornell–Larcker and HTMT criteria. These results highlight that digital literacy not only reflects technological proficiency but also contributes to shaping responsible citizenship, wise economic behavior, and mathematical communication skills relevant to the learning needs of the Society 5.0 era.
