Abstract

The purposes of the current research are to identify, analyze and simulate the dynamics of interaction and conflicts among agents using drama theory in Citarum river basin problem. To accomplish these purposes, we crate a simulation model that combine drama theory and emotional state model (PAD model). Drama theory was adopted because it able to describe dilemmas and paradox arising from rational goal seeking behavior. It also provides us with rigorous analytical and computational tools for conflict analysis. Our previous model was able to recognize and solve confrontation dilemmas, i.e., persuasion and rejection dilemma among the agents. In this paper, we propose an enhanced simulation model that is able to recognize and solve collaboration dilemmas (trust dilemma) among the agents. In order to obtain some fruitful suggestions for encouraging agent’s collaboration, we product agent-based simulation using SOARS (Spot Oriented Agent Role Simulator). Keywords: Agent based Simulation, Negotiation, Dilemma, Drama Theory, Emotion

Abstract

The number of digital advertising channels is expected to overgrow in the future. The overgrowth of digital advertising will potentially increase the risk of advertising that does not comply with the requirements. Food advertising control will continue to face uncertainties in the future. Food and beverage companies have spotted opportunities in integrated communication in digital advertising such as programmatic advertising, advergames, native advertising, unidentified advertising by influencers, and blockchain advertising, which are expected to grow in the next five years. The key focal issue of this research is how digital media technology will affect the supervision of food advertising in Indonesia over the next five years. The study involved expert representatives from the Indonesian FDA, Provincial Health Office, Ministry of Communication and Informatics, University, Broadcasting Committee, Association of Advertising Companies, Food and Beverage Company Association, and e-commerce Association. Through in-depth interviews, 17 driving forces were identified and two critical uncertainties were defined. Those two critical uncertainties, digital technology advancement and digital literacy are formulated into four scenario frameworks. The research also constructs the early warning signals and indicators that distinguish one scenario from another. Scenario planning enables an organization to anticipate the uncertain future and its consequences, which necessitates carefully planning strategic responses to future opportunities and threats.

Abstract

Abstract

With the rapid development in big data and business intelligence platforms, the government is required to keep up with the technology in managing the organization's data to give excellent public service. The government as a policy maker should make policies and make a decision based on data rather than just the manager’s intuition. The investment in a business intelligence platform should ease in doing routine and simplify the decision-making process.  The objective of this study is to know employee perception on the data visualization available in Indonesian FDA and list the possibilities to improve it. The data used are from primary and secondary data. The primary data get from employee surveys while secondary data is from company reports and other sources on the internet. The analysis using quantitative analysis with ANOVA. Data visualization using color can increase willingness to read and people can faster grab the sense from visuals. This will help a manager digest all the data to make a decision. After conducting the study, the result showed that a business intelligence dashboard could help the employee in providing a brief overview of real-time data in general when needed. The dashboard capability that the employee thinks important is data filtering. Having a business intelligence dashboard can help managers make the decision process faster and more precise.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the decision-making strategies of EPLC’s marketing team through the usage of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). EPLC, an English language learning institution in Bandung, Indonesia, wants to increase its students up to 1000 students. Historical data analysis revealed that there are gaps reaching this target, necessitating improved marketing strategies. The study evaluates four alternatives which are social media campaigns, regular referrals, and alumnus referral program, and a student ambassador program based on some key criterias, cost efficiency, reach, impact, and improvable. Using AHP, social media campaigns rank to be the most effective strategy, followed by the student ambassador program. This research concludes that combining two strategies could maximize the results without interfering with one another. It highlights the importance of decision-making tools, such as AHP, in optimizing marketing strategies for educational institutions.

Abstract

In the pursuit of innovative and practical learning environments, the concept of a campus-based thematic banking café has emerged as a promising initiative that integrates education, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. This research analyzes the decision-making process behind the implementation of such a café using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology. The aim is to identify and prioritize key factors that influence the feasibility and success of the initiative within a university setting. A hierarchical decision model was developed, incorporating five main criteria: educational impact, financial feasibility, operational sustainability, stakeholder support, and technological integration. Through pairwise comparisons and expert input from university stakeholders, including academic staff, students, financial managers, and banking partners, priority weights were calculated for each criterion using AHP. The results show that educational impact is the most critical factor, emphasizing the role of the café in supporting academic goals and experiential learning. Financial feasibility and operational sustainability also received significant attention, while technological integration and stakeholder support were found to be important but secondary considerations. The findings demonstrate that AHP is an effective tool for multi-criteria decision-making in higher education contexts. It enables universities to align diverse perspectives and justify strategic decisions through a structured and transparent framework. This study offers a practical reference for educational institutions considering similar campus-based initiatives and highlights the potential for cross-sector partnerships to enhance student learning experiences.

Abstract

The Australian live cattle export industry to Indonesia operates under a stringent regulatory framework, the Exporter Supply Chain Assurance System (ESCAS), which mandates Independent Initial Audit Reports (IIAR) for new facilities. A critical challenge for exporters is the selection of a competent independent auditor, a decision often made informally, leading to risks of audit failure, cost overruns, and shipment delays. This study addresses this gap by applying the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to develop a structured, multi-criteria decision-making model for auditor selection. The research identified four key selection criteria through expert interviews: Flexibility in Time, Credibility, Cost per Facility, and Experience in the Field. Pairwise comparisons by industry experts determined the priority weights, revealing Flexibility in Time as the most critical factor (55.8%), followed by Credibility (26.3%). Three auditor firms were evaluated against these criteria. The AHP analysis calculated global priority scores, ranking Auditor A first (38.4%) due to its exceptional flexibility, which is paramount for mitigating supply chain disruption risks. Auditor B ranked second (35.9%), valued for its strong credibility, while Auditor C (25.7%) was deemed unsuitable despite its low cost due to inflexibility. The study concludes that a structured AHP model effectively transforms a subjective decision into a transparent, defensible process. The findings recommend selecting Auditor A, prioritizing operational resilience and regulatory security over short-term cost savings. This approach provides exporters with a robust framework to ensure compliance, protect market access, and enhance strategic decision-making in a high-stakes industry.

Abstract

This study investigates the post-merger organizational culture integration of Indonesia’s state-owned airport operators, PT Angkasa Pura I and II, under the InJourney holding. It explores how core values are reflected in customer experience (CX) through digital feedback. Leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP), the study analyzes 1,971 segmented review sentences derived from 619 user-submitted Google Maps reviews across six major airports. Reviews were classified by language and grouped into three time periods. Using lexicon-based sentiment scoring, CX dimension mapping, and cultural artifact detection linked to the AKHLAK core values, the analysis reveals that customers primarily discuss functional service aspects such as service quality, environment, and flow. Emotional and loyalty-related expressions were minimal. A decline in sentiment was observed in the post-merger phase, especially in ex-AP II airports. Cultural value mentions remained sparse and inconsistent. Statistical tests confirm significant differences across periods and regions, yet the impact of cultural integration on CX remains limited. These findings highlight the gap between internal cultural transformation efforts and external customer perceptions, offering methodological and managerial implications for monitoring public service transformation using big data analytics.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the service quality of digital-only banks in Indonesia through sentiment analysis and topic modeling of Google Play Store reviews, with a focus on SeaBank, Bank Jago, and Bank Neo Commerce three of the country’s leading digital banks by total assets and user base. Using the E-S-QUAL framework, this research identifies five key service quality dimensions: Efficiency, Fulfillment, Reliability, Responsiveness, and Privacy. The study employs a fine-tuned BERT model to classify sentiment and extract themes from 277,877 reviews. The findings reveal that SeaBank leads in overall performance, particularly in efficiency, with 89.4% of positive sentiment, indicating operational excellence and strong emotional engagement with users. However, gaps in customer service responsiveness were also identified. Bank Jago performs well in efficiency but faces critical issues in reliability, especially related to authentication and device restrictions. Bank Neo Commerce demonstrates the most fragmented sentiment pattern, with systemic weaknesses in reliability and responsiveness. The results offer practical insights for digital banks to improve specific service areas and enhance customer satisfaction. This study contributes to digital banking research by demonstrating how advanced text mining can reveal nuanced service quality patterns directly from user feedback.
