Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the mapping of spiritual management process in Pondok Pesantren Al-Munawwir Kolplek L Krapyak Yogyakarta. The type of research used is qualitatively descriptive with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and documentation. Spiritual management makes a bridge to the peak consciousness of human self existence in the vertical line called fitrah awareness, one consciousness that is tawhid. Management concept is understood not only to be empirical-rational by relying on the ability of the five senses and human intellectuality, but more deeply to the values of spirituality that are the main center in success with various aspects of life. The results showed that Pondok Pesantren Al Munawwir Kompleks L implemented a pesantren management system that emphasizes managerial and applies spiritual values in its management through programs realized to achieve more comprehensive and holistic goals, namely through 1) takhalli management; 2) tahalli management; 3) tajalli management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh anggapan umum bahwa madrasah merupakan kelas dua dibandingkan dengan sekolah umum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin menampilkan karakteristik “Madrasah Model”. Metode penelitian ini adalah literature review. Sumber data diperoleh dari buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal yang ada kaitannya dengan topik yang diteliti. Temuan diperoleh melalui deduksi dan wacana kritis, bukan melalui pengolahan data primer. Studi ini menggunakan content analysis (analisis isi) sebagai pendekatan dalam analisis data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Madrasah Model memiliki keunggulan dari aspek kurikulum, boarding school (asrama), memiliki pusat sumber belajar bersama, SDM yang profesional, muatan lokal dan ekstra kurikuler yang fleksibel dan islami. Dengan demikian penelitian ini sangat penting agar Madrasah Model menjadi Center for Excellence bagi madrasah lain untuk melakukan inovasi kelembagaan pendidikan Islam serta dapat dikembangkan pada masing-masing Kabupaten/Kota bahkan Kecamatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis Cara guru-guru SMP Plus Melati Samarinda mengukur ketercapaian integrasi nilai-nilai budaya karakter bangsa yang dinyatakan pada Silabus dan RPP di SMP Plus Melati Samarinda. Metode penelitian ditinjau dari aspek konteks (context), masukan (input), proses (process), dan hasil (product) Data di kumpulkan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, kuesioner, dan observasi di lingkungan sekolah. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas: kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru dan siswa. Objek penelitian adalah pengintegrasian program pendidikan budaya karakter bangsa melalui mata pelajaran. Data analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif sebagai penunjang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan evaluasi CIPP memberikan hasil bahwa secara umum keterlaksanaan program integrasi pendidikan budaya karakter bangsa melalui mata pelajaran berjalan meskipun dokumentasi pengukurannya belum terlihat nyata. Dan sebagian besar guru telah mengetahui konsep dan keharusan memasukkan budaya karakter bangsa dalam pembelajaran hanya saja belum terlihat secara eksplisit dalam RPP walaupun secara prakteknya telah di terapkan dalam proses pembelajaran serta dampak terhadap peserta didik telah terlihat dengan tidak adanya catatan pelanggaran.

Abstract

The most effective effort in achieving the national development target is through education. The purpose of this study is to explore the role of teachers in the development of hidden curriculum-based islamic boarding schools. This research uses a qualitative approach method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and observations. The subject of the study consisted of 80 students and 10 teachers. Findings from the study show that teachers have a very crucial role in the development of hidden curricula based on islamic boarding schools, especially in terms of shaping the character of students. Teachers understand that the character of students is not only formed through formal subjects but also the values of Islamic boarding schools passed down from generation to generation. Therefore, the teacher acts as a facilitator in helping students understand and apply the values of Islamic boarding schools in everyday life. Teachers also act as models for students, by demonstrating behaviors and actions that are following the values of Islamic boarding schools. In this case, teachers need to have a deep understanding of the values of Islamic boarding schools and the ability to integrate these values into the existing curriculum.  Keywords: Teacher, Hidden Curriculum, Islamic Boarding School, Student Character.

Abstract

Learning burnout must get serious attention from the teacher so that the learning he does becomes effective and efficient. This study aims to discover the strategies used to overcome learning saturation for early childhood at school. This type of research uses a qualitative case study approach, an inquiry method that emphasizes the search for meaning, understanding, concepts, characteristics, symptoms, symbols or descriptions of a phenomenon in the research setting, prioritizing quality, using several methods, and presenting narratively. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research and discussion results show that strategies for overcoming learning saturation in early childhood have been carried out very well and optimally. The use of methods, media, learning strategies and interactions with students is planned and systematic to reduce learning boredom in the classroom.

Abstract

Learning in pesantren or Islamic boarding school is often identified with backward learning, old-fashioned thinking, and an inability to respond to current developments. Ma'had Aly Sukorejo Situbondo dismissed this view. The presence of Ma'had Aly broke the barriers of backwardness that had been running in the pesantren. This article examines the transformation of Ma'had Aly's academic tradition through its learning innovations. This study used a qualitative approach, the type of field research, and data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis technique is formulated through the described data categorization and the interpretation of the data acquired through the theories used in this study. The results of this study show that Ma'had Aly Sukorejo Situbondo has transformed its education through learning innovation, combining the teacher-centered and student-centered approaches by developing learning methods in the form of al-Ta'lim wa Al-Tadris, structured assignments, dialogues, lectures, and general stadiums. In reviewing the books in the curriculum, Ma’had Aly Sukorejo provides the broadest possible opportunities for teachers to learn with various learning innovations. From the perspective of innovation, Ma'had Aly has adopted Neo-Modernism thinking. The learning strategies include textual, contextual, comparative, Maqasidiyah, and Naqdiyah. This study has implications for the scientific development of pesantren education in general and pesantren higher education in particular, that the tradition of thinking in pesantren is from stagnant to critical (dynamic) thinking.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama merupakan pendidikan fundamental, karena pada dasarnya memberikan pembelajaran mengenai perilaku, sikap, moral, dan akhlak yang diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) bersumber pada Al-Qur’an dan Sunnah (Hadits). Artikel ini menganalisis PAI pada jenjang sekolah atau madrasah di Indonesia dengan telaah komparatif. Memakai pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis data berupa analisis isi (content analysis) yang menekankan pada penjelasan mengenai makna dari sebuah dokumen. Fokus pembahasan artikel ini ditujukan pada ruang lingkup, orientasi, strategi, metode dan model pembelajaran PAI. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa kesuksesan pembelajaran PAI didukung oleh tiga aspek utama yang saling berkaitan satu sama lain, yakni kurikulum, tenaga pendidik, dan peserta didik.
