Abstract

The most effective effort in achieving the national development target is through education. The purpose of this study is to explore the role of teachers in the development of hidden curriculum-based islamic boarding schools. This research uses a qualitative approach method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and observations. The subject of the study consisted of 80 students and 10 teachers. Findings from the study show that teachers have a very crucial role in the development of hidden curricula based on islamic boarding schools, especially in terms of shaping the character of students. Teachers understand that the character of students is not only formed through formal subjects but also the values of Islamic boarding schools passed down from generation to generation. Therefore, the teacher acts as a facilitator in helping students understand and apply the values of Islamic boarding schools in everyday life. Teachers also act as models for students, by demonstrating behaviors and actions that are following the values of Islamic boarding schools. In this case, teachers need to have a deep understanding of the values of Islamic boarding schools and the ability to integrate these values into the existing curriculum.  Keywords: Teacher, Hidden Curriculum, Islamic Boarding School, Student Character.

Abstract

Technology in education is developing very rapidly. The use of technology-based learning media aims to make it easier for teachers to deliver material so that learning is more enjoyable and varied. The use of digital technology as a learning medium means that teachers have balanced knowledge with technological advances.This study aims to analyze how the use of digital technology-based learning media in PPKN subjects at SDN 1 Ngembel, Watulimo District.The subject in this study focuses on the high class, namely grade 4. This study uses descriptive qualitative research using observation, interviews and questionnaires to teachers of SDN 1 Ngembel, Watulimo District. The results of this study illustrate that it is quite optimal to use digital technology-based learning media in the learning process at SDN 1 Ngembel Watulimo District in PPKN subjects. The use of Technology-Based Learning Media in PPKN Learning at SDN 1 Ngembel, Watulimo District shows the use of Learning Video media gets a percentage of 50% usage, Power Point 30%, Google Classroom 10%, Youtube 5%, Social Media 5%. From this data, teachers more often use Learning Video learning media than other media.

Abstract

The current generation of young people plays a pivotal role in advancing Indonesia towards its vision of a Golden Indonesia by 2045. Within the realm of higher education, particularly in religious studies, there exists a significant emphasis on cultivating the character of students. Islamic education, in particular, holds a crucial position in the development of competent individuals equipped with both technical skills and interpersonal competencies. This research endeavors to explore the implementation of project-based learning (PjBL) within the curriculum of Religious Education programs offered by public universities. The aim is to harness this approach as a means of fostering exemplary student character. Conducted in Tulungagung, Indonesia, this study adopts a qualitative methodology employing a case study design. Semi-structured interviews were carried out with key stakeholders in education as well as experts in Islamic religious education at the university level. Additionally, participatory observation and document analysis were utilized to scrutinize the integration of project-based learning within the religious education curriculum. Findings from this research indicate that the incorporation of the PjBL approach into Religious Education courses at public universities facilitates an interactive and collaborative learning atmosphere. By engaging in practical projects aligned with religious contexts and local customs, students are allowed to cultivate practical skills and a profound comprehension of religious principles and local traditions crucial to the development of exemplary character.   Keywords: Religious Education, Public Universities, Project-Based Learning, Character Development

Abstract

Introduction to the alphabet and coding for grade 1 elementary school students is important. This is because the alphabet is the main foundation in basic reading and writing. Meanwhile, studying coding for elementary school age sharpens logic and keeps up with developments in technological sophistication. The aim of this research is to produce LKPD (Learner Worksheets) that are valid and practical. The development of this LKPD uses the ADDIE development model. The research results show that the average validity of LKPD experts, material experts and learning experts is 94% in the "Very Valid" category. Meanwhile, practicality was obtained from a questionnaire given to 15 students and an average score of 95% was obtained. So the results of developing LKPD recognizing alphabet letters, coding combinations for grade 1 elementary school students are very valid and practical.

Abstract

The widespread corruption in Indonesia is a major obstacle to the country's economic and social progress. Instilling anti-corruption values in the next generation is a critical responsibility of higher education institutions. This study looks at how Islamic Religious Education classes in Indonesian universities have begun to incorporate lessons about against corruption. The faculty and students of Bhinneka PGRI University participated in a qualitative case study. Documentation, in-depth interviews, participant observation, and focus groups were used to obtain facts. The findings demonstrated that a number of strategies were employed to incorporate anti-corruption education into Islamic Religious Education courses. These included reviewing the curriculum and syllabus, creating interactive teaching materials and methods, and organising student activities to promote a culture that rejects corruption. Integrity, compassion, autonomy, discipline, responsibility, hard work, simplicity, courage, and fairness are nine anti-corruption principles that were found to be included in the course materials. Additionally, a number of successful learning strategies were implemented, including learning through projects, learning in context, learning in collaboration, learning through discovery, value clarification tools, and modelling good behaviour. Students are encouraged to cultivate their character and integrity through the incorporation of anti-corruption instruction within Islamic Religious instruction classes. This will equip them to take on leadership roles in the fight against corruption in the future. University syllabi should incorporate anti-corruption education, according to this report, and additional research into alternative learning modalities should be pursued to foster an anti-corruption culture on campus.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan masyrakat ini untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman tentang hak cipta di kalangan pengrajin batik Tulungagung dan generasi muda. Melalui metode Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR), program ini melibatkan observasi, wawancara, serta pelatihan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang pentingnya perlindungan hak cipta bagi karya seni batik. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman mengenai hak cipta dan pentingnya pendaftaran untuk melindungi karya dari plagiarisme. Diskusi dan praktik yang dilakukan selama pelatihan membantu pengrajin untuk mengintegrasikan kreativitas dengan aspek legal, sehingga meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dalam berinovasi. Program ini juga berhasil memupuk kesadaran pada generasi muda tentang nilai budaya batik dan pentingnya hak cipta. Penelitian ini menekankan perlunya dukungan infrastruktur dan pendidikan berkelanjutan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan perlindungan karya batik di masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas integrasi literasi digital dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) berbasis pendekatan saintifik untuk memperkuat civic disposition mahasiswa. Civic disposition, yang meliputi tanggung jawab sosial, partisipasi aktif, peduli lingkungan, semangat kebangsaan dan kesadaran hukum, merupakan elemen penting dalam membentuk warga negara yang demokratis dan bertanggung jawab. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi proses pembelajaran, analisis tugas mahasiswa, dan wawancara dengan dosen serta mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran PKn. Pendekatan saintifik diterapkan melalui tahapan observasi, pengumpulan informasi, analisis, dan evaluasi. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan meliputi penugasan pembuatan video pembelajaran, sesi diskusi melalui aplikasi Zoom, serta pemanfaatan media sosial untuk berbagi materi, diskusi kelompok, dan refleksi belajar.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi literasi digital dalam pembelajaran PKn berbasis saintifik mampu meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap isu-isu kewarganegaraan. Mahasiswa menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, analisis data, dan kreativitas melalui produk video pembelajaran yang dihasilkan. Penggunaan media sosial secara aktif mendorong interaksi yang lebih intensif dan kolaboratif antara mahasiswa. Selain itu, pembelajaran melalui Zoom membantu mengatasi keterbatasan waktu tatap muka dan memberikan fleksibilitas dalam penyampaian materi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa literasi digital, ketika diterapkan secara strategis dalam pendekatan saintifik, tidak hanya meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran kognitif tetapi juga memperkuat civic disposition mahasiswa, sehingga mereka lebih siap menghadapi tantangan kehidupan bermasyarakat di era digital. Integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran PKn dapat menjadi model inovatif yang relevan dengan kebutuhan pendidikan abad ke-21.

Abstract

The proliferation of global academic discourse necessitates the effective dissemination of scientific research through reputable international journals. This study investigates an international training program aimed at enhancing the capabilities of researchers in Indonesia and Sudan for publishing in high-impact journals. The training program focuses on equipping participants with essential skills in manuscript preparation, understanding international journal standards, and navigating the publication process. Through a case study approach, the research assesses the program’s effectiveness in improving participants' publication outcomes and the implications for their respective academic institutions. The findings reveal that the training significantly enhanced participants' proficiency in crafting high-quality manuscripts, aligning with international journal criteria, and successfully navigating the peer-review process. Participants reported increased confidence and competence in their writing and submission practices, contributing to a higher rate of successful publications in reputable journals. Additionally, the program fostered greater collaboration and knowledge exchange between researchers from Indonesia and Sudan, promoting a more integrated global academic community. This study underscores the value of targeted international training programs in bridging gaps in academic publishing practices and strengthening the global presence of researchers from diverse contexts. The implications for policy and practice include the need for continued support and development of such training initiatives to further advance the quality and impact of scientific research on a global scale.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya praktik body shaming yang kerap terjadi di media sosial, khususnya Instagram. Body shaming merupakan bentuk komentar negatif atau penghinaan terhadap penampilan fisik seseorang, seperti berat badan, tinggi badan, warna kulit, atau aspek fisik lainnya yang dianggap tidak sesuai dengan standar kecantikan umum. Instagram sebagai platform berbasis visual memungkinkan penggunanya untuk membagikan foto dan video, namun juga memicu munculnya komentar yang bersifat merendahkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh body shaming di Instagram terhadap rasa percaya diri mahasiswa semester 8 Program Studi Pendidikan PPKn Universitas Bhinneka PGRI. Pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan responden yang pernah mengalami body shaming di Instagram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan antara body shaming di media sosial Instagram terhadap kepercayaan diri mahasiswa semester 8 PPKn Universitas Bhinneka PGRI. Dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000, nilai F sebesar 19,105, dan nilai t 3,667, hipotesis nol ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif diterima. Artinya, semakin sering mahasiswa mengalami body shaming, semakin rendah kepercayaan diri mereka.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan literasi antikorupsi di kalangan santri muda Pondok Pesantren Al-Fattahiyah Tulungagung, melalui integrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam bentuk kampanye digital kreatif. Permasalahan yang diidentifikasi adalah rendahnya kemampuan kritis santri dalam menanggapi isu korupsi yang tersebar di media digital, serta terbatasnya akses dan keterampilan dalam memproduksi konten edukatif yang positif. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah gabungan antara Participatory Action Research (PAR) dan pendekatan Project-Based Learning (PBL). Santri dilibatkan dalam rangkaian workshop, diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD), serta praktik produksi konten kampanye digital seperti video pendek, poster, dan infografis dengan tema “Santri Anti-Korupsi”. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan peserta, dengan nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 50 dan post-test sebesar 80, yang mencerminkan kenaikan pemahaman sebesar 60%. Tingkat partisipasi santri selama kegiatan mencapai 90%, menunjukkan efektivitas metode partisipatif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan. Produk luaran berupa video kampanye, infografis, dan meme edukatif dinilai relevan dan kreatif, walaupun ditemukan tantangan dalam hal teknis produksi konten. Kegiatan ini disimpulkan berhasil dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran nilai integritas dan memperkuat keterampilan komunikasi digital peserta. Program ini juga berpotensi direplikasi di pesantren lain dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut melalui kolaborasi dengan institusi antikorupsi atau komunitas kreatif. Temuan ini penting sebagai inovasi edukasi antikorupsi berbasis digital yang kontekstual di lingkungan pesantren.
