Abstract

Fabrication of rami fiber based on composite with epoxy matrixs and polymer blend of ABS-PP for alternative prosthetic soket application have been conducted. This  research attemp to analyze impact resistance of rami-epoxy  based on composite and polymer blend base ABS-PP. Those sample was made by hand lay up and simple hot casting methode at a temperature of 250 oC. rami-epoxy based on composite and polymer blend samples with  volume fraction variation 0%, 25%, 50% and 75%. The result of charpy impact test showed an increase in impact energy along with an increase in the volume fraction of rami. In other hand, an increase in ABS volume fraction could reduce the impact energy of polymer blend samples. From impact testing result, both samples showed brittle like-structure. Broken Fiber with low fiber pull out mechanism was found out in rami-epoxy composite samples. Polymer blend samples showed pull out mechanism on ABS grain.

Abstract

An AC signal is produced by oscillator or a similar circuit that includes demodulation. In addition to thedemodulation circuit, there is also need interface circuit which include signal conditioning, signal processing anddata acquisition. So that, the frequency can be read digitally. The purpose of this research was to createdemodulation circuit in form of colpitts-crystal oscillator and microcontroller. This research carried out severalstage. There are making colpitts-crystal oscillator, microcontroller synchronization, data retrieval and processingoutput. The DC voltage variations are 3.2 V, 9 V and 15.9 V and capacitor variations are 470 pF, 4.7 nF and 33nF. Output data in form of frequencies measured by using oscilloscope. Futhermore, the data is tested for accuracyand precision. From the test result using 470 pF, 4.7 nF and 33 nF capacitors when given 3.2 V input voltage, theprecision values were 91.35%, 93.06% and 96.17% and the accuracy value were 97.72%, 97.96%, and 98.17%.For 9 V input voltage, the precision values were 99.82%, 97.67% and 97.52% and the accuracy value were 99%,98.90%, and 98.92%. Whereas 15.9 V input voltage, the precision values were 93.43%, 96.92% and 93.66% andthe accuracy value were 98.08%, 98.75%, and 97.60%. From these data, it can be concluded that a good voltagevalue used in this ciecuit is 9 V with 470 pF capacitor where the precision value was 99.82% and the accuracyvalue was 99%.

Abstract

Kapal tanpa awak yang digunakan untuk berpatroli di perairan pesisir membutuhkan sistem deteksi dan penghindar rintangan yang andal. Hal ini dikarenakan banyak terdapat objek-objek yang dapat menghalangi lajunya kapal di permukaan air. Tantangan dalam pengembangan sistem pendeteksian rintangan berbasis citra bagi kapal tak berawak ukuran kecil adalah performa komputasi yang terbatas. Penelitian dilakukan untuk membuat sebuah sistem pendeteksian rintangan bagi kapal tanpa awak yang akurat dengan proses komputasi yang minimum agar dapat diimplementasikan ke dalam sistem tertanam. Sistem yang dibuat mengkombinasikan deteksi tepi, transformasi Hough dan deteksi saliensi untuk mendeteksi adanya rintangan di atas permukaan air. Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan bahwa performa sistem dapat mendekati kemampuan sistem lain yang lebih kompleks namun belum dapat mengunggulinya. Sistem ini juga diimplementasikan pada sistem tertanam dan menghasilkan kecepatan yang memungkinkan untuk dilakukan pengimplementasian secara real-time.

Abstract

Parabolic trough type solar collector is a potential heating device for use in a dryer. This instrument utilizes radiation or sunlight as a heat source. Generally, solar collector converts solar radiation energy in electromagnetic waves form into heat energy. In this research, a parabolic trough type solar collector had been made using an aluminum tape reflector which was coated with polyester as a protector. In this study, measurements of temperature and humidity in the absorber pipe were carried out, as well as the intensity of solar radiation and wind speed. Based on the reslut of measurement and data processing, it was found that the pattern of increasing the air and absorber temperature followed the pattern of solar radiation’s intensity. In other words, the temperature was directly proportional to change in the intensity of solar radiation. The highest air temperature in this experiment was 51.5 oC and the highest temperature of the absorber pipe was 56.6 oC. Moreover, the wind speed with a value above 0.6 m/s lowers the air temperature in the absorber. The increase in air temperature was inversely proportional to the value of the air humidity in the absorber.

Abstract

SDN 012 Balikpapan Utara terletak di Jalan Giri Mulyo KM 14 RT 22 Kelurahan Karang Joang, Balikpapan Utara. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilandasi oleh permasalahan yang terjadi di pihak mitra yaitu SDN 012 Balikpapan Utara. Adanya pandemi covid-19 mengharuskan para siswa belajar dari rumah. Di sisi lain, para guru di SDN 012 Balikpapan Utara menghadapi beberapa tantangan mengenai pembelajaran daring. Mereka belum menguasai penggunaan learning management system dalam pembelajaran daring. Sebelumnya mereka terbiasa menggunakan Whatsapp sebagai media pembelajaran online, namun saat ini Whatsapp tidak bisa digunakan sebagai satu-satunya media pembelajaran daring. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, kami mengenalkan dan melakukan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi atau teknologi yang mendukung pembelajaran daring. Media yang digunakan dalam hal ini adalah google classroom, google form dan google meet. Pada kegiatan ini, kami juga melakukan klinik privat pelatihan bagi para guru yang ingin mempelajari materi pelatihan lebih dalam. Pelatihan ini melibatkan 11 guru sebagai peserta dan 5 pemateri dari dosen yang dibantu oleh 6 mahasiswa. Dari hasil survey yang sudah dilakukan, semua guru merasakan banyak manfaat dengan adanya kegiatan ini. Pengetahuan mereka tentang learning management system untuk pembelajaran daring pun meningkat. Para guru pun dapat melakukan pembelajaran dengan lebih baik dan mudah.

Abstract

Poklahsar Swakarya Bersama is an MSME Group that focuses on processing and marketing activities, located in Tanjung Tengah Village, North Penajam Paser Regency (PPU) East Kalimantan Province with processed products made from seaweed. Currently, PPU Regency has been approved as the National Capital of Indonesia (IKN). One of the concentrations needed in moving the new capital is the readiness of the IKN buffer area. However, the essence of this community service activity is to improve the quality of MSMEs operating in the food sector, namely Poklahsar Swakarya Bersama. These improvement efforts must be developed through strengthening technology, branding and marketing to expand markets and business management. With the market strengthening program with branding and digital marketing, it is hoped that it will be able to expand and strengthen the target market. This rebranding activity is packaged with digital marketing training activities and selecting logo and packaging designs. The target market desired by Poklahsar Swakarya Bersama is seaweed tortilla chips which can be consumed by all ages and genders. Therefore, the selection of a new logo and packaging went through an audience stage with partners where several alternative designs had been created by the activity implementation team.
