Abstrak The purpose of this study was to determine the shape, placement and meaning carving motifs used in Bagas Godang Huta district Godang Mandailing Natal. The data source is data collected using interviews and documentation. The findings of the study. (1) sun carving placed above the entrance Bagas Godang meaning as enlightening the people, (2) carving ulok (snake) placed in front of the statue of the music room Bagas Godang, (3) engraving podang (sword) was placed on the wall of the music room terrace Bagas Godang, meaning truth and power of the king, (4) pit carved nihorbo (buffalo head, placed on the wall of the music room terrace Bagas Godang, (5) carving siadop-adop (face to face) is placed on a slab patio Godang meaning Bagas protect each other, (6) carving pusuk nirobung (shoots shoots) were placed on a slab patio Bagas Godang, meaning custom Dalihan natolu, (7) carving shrimp placed on a slab patio Botik Bagas Godang, meaning the king's relationship with the community is very closely. This study analyzes the empowerment of women from an Islamic perspective through a literature review, focusing on the legal, social, and gender aspects in the modern world. The findings indicate that Islamic law provides protection for women's rights, including inheritance and education rights. The social aspect emphasizes the importance of women's roles in society, while the gender analysis affirms the equality between men and women. Despite challenges in implementation, this study concludes that women's empowerment based on Islamic teachings can contribute to more just and sustainable social change.

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menjelaskan ada pengaruh Harga, Ketetapan Waktu dan Kualitas Pelayanan atau mutu layanan Terhadap kepuasan kosumen pada jasa ekspedisi dilabuhanbatu. Tujuan penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui jasa ekspedisi yang banyak digunakan. Penelitian ini menggukanan deskiptif kuantitatif dengan sampel menggunakan Maxsimum Likehood Estimation (MLE) yang manajumlah sampelnya sebanyak 300 responden, dan data yang dikumpulkan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Dalam menganalisis regresi linier berganda dibantu oleh aplikasih Smart PLS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jasa ekspedisi paling banyak digunakan dilabuhanbatu adalah J&T, selain itu variabel Harga (X1), Ketetapan Waktu (X2) dan Kualitas Pelayanan (X3) terhadap Kepuasan Konsumen (Y) berpengaruh positif dan sigfinikan.

This study aimed to develop effective English reading materials to enhance the reading comprehension skills of Grade XI students at SMAN 2 Rantau Selatan. Using the ADDIE model—comprising the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—the research employed classroom observation, interviews, expert validation, and pretest-posttest evaluations. Findings from the initial analysis indicated that students struggled to understand reading texts due to the lack of contextual relevance, unattractive content, and materials that did not match their interests or proficiency levels. The newly developed materials, focused on narrative texts and enriched with visual and culturally relevant elements, underwent validation by subject matter and media experts, resulting in validity scores of 90% and 85%, respectively. Effectiveness testing revealed a substantial improvement in student performance, with the average score rising from 58 (pretest) to 84 (posttest), and 93% of students achieving mastery. These results suggest that the developed materials are both valid and effective for use in senior high school English instruction.

This study investigates the impact of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) on shifting teacher beliefs and classroom practices in STEM education at SDN No. 100710 Hapesong Baru.. The research aimed to explore how sustained professional learning experiences contribute to teachers’ pedagogical transformation from content transmitters to learning facilitators. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis involving four STEM teachers who participated in a year-long CPD program. The findings reveal that CPD fostered significant changes in teachers’ beliefs toward student-centered learning and encouraged more interactive, inquiry-based classroom practices. However, challenges such as limited institutional support and resource constraints still hindered full pedagogical implementation. The study highlights the importance of contextualized CPD programs in developing reflective and adaptive STEM educators, offering insights for policymakers and practitioners seeking to enhance teacher professionalism in developing-country contexts.

This study aims to map the difficulties in early reading among elementary school students through an indexed literature review. A qualitative method was used by analyzing ten journals indexed in SINTA and Non-SINTA. The findings indicate that early reading difficulties are multidimensional, covering technical, cognitive, and motivational aspects. The causes stem from internal factors, such as cognitive ability, psychological conditions, and specific disorders, as well as external factors, including family support, teaching methods, and the availability of learning media. Effective strategies include structured teacher interventions, the use of multisensory learning media, daily reading habits, parental involvement, and individualized learning approaches. Success in early reading is influenced by early stimulation, continuous practice, engaging literacy corners, and active parental support. This study provides a comprehensive understanding of early reading difficulties and recommended strategies to enhance students’ foundational literacy.
