Abstract

Background:The prevalence of accessing pornographic material in adolescents tends to increase.. Users of pornography can become addicted to the same internal chemicals made by drugs or drugs called by narkolema.The picture of the incidence of narcolema in SMKN 7 Surakarta known sebannyak 98 students (89.1%) have narcolema Narkolema can cause impaired brain function in the pre frontal cortex or forebrain. The target of this activity is to increase the knowledge of narcolema and can reduce the number of incidents of narcolema. The expected outcomes with the activities of empowerment of adolescents with the provision of material about the dangers of narcolema, 100% of students who follow this activity so that knowledge about narcolema can be absorbed so as to Reduce the incidence of narcolema in adolescents.The methods undertaken in the implementation of this activity is video playback about the dangers of narcolema and its prevention, Discussion, Giving of leaflets. The results of this dedication is in the form of increasing knowledge on students of SMKN 7 Surakarta. The conclusion of the knowledge about danger and the prevention of narcolema followed by 238 participants, to further need to make extension planning accompanied by continuous facilitation by involving participant

Abstract

This article describes model of strengthening the national character values with the Sufism approach in the traditional Madurese Muslim community who has a sectarian and static mindset through the Majlis Maulid wa al-Ta’lim Riyadlul Jannah Madura activities. The strengthening of the national character is based on Islamic teachings which normatively emphasize the ritual and social dimensions. This Majlis builds religious values, love for the country, the spirit of nationality, tolerance, and social care. The pattern of strengthening with the Sufism approach is carried out through the reading of Maulid Simth ad-Durar, shalawat, and qashidah with national character values, mauizhah hasanah, and riyadlah through safari maulid in 40 nights and qiyam al-lail on the last 15 nights of Ramadan. The strengthening of the national character runs optimally influenced by the power of prayer, humility (tawadlu’) of the Majlis leaders, hospitality, and noble morals in every Majlis activities.

Abstract

Hemicellulose is one of lignocellulose waste component, so that xylanase is one of importance enzyme of lignocellulose waste biodegradation. Molds as main decomposer lignosellulose waste has enzyme activities higher than yeast and bacteria. The aim of the research is to find mold that have xylanolitic activity using lignocellulose waste as media production. The research consist of isolations and screening mols from coastal-field of watu Ulo Jember, xylanase production using lignocellulose waste and idntification of mold which has the highes xylanase activity. A total of 66 molds isolated from rice straw in coastal-field of Watu Ulo Jember. There were screened for their xylanase activity. In semiquantitatively screen on Oat Spelt Xylan plate, the result showed that 62 have xilanolytic activities. Based on clearing zone production, isolates ESW A1 (3.2), ESW A5 (3.1), ESW C 16 (3.26), ESW D4 (3.0) and ESW D15 (3.21) have xilanase activity index higher than others. Furthermore, quantitative analysis using wheat bran, rice straw and baggase in basic salt Mandel’s modification media showed that xylanase activity of isolate ESW D4 was higher on rice straw 3% as substrate production with activity 2.66 U/mL. Isolate ESW D4 identified as Aspergillus foetidus so that called as Aspergillus foetidus ESW D4. Keywords: rice straw, coastal-field, Aspergillus foetidus ESW-D

Abstract

Kedelai edamame mengandung senyawa isoflavon yang berfungsi sebagai antioksidan. Senyawa tersebut berupa senyawa yang berikatan dengan gula melalui ikatan glikosida. Biokonversi senyawa isoflavon glikosida menjadi isoflavon aglikon yang sangat berpotensi tinggi sebagai antioksidan terjadi selama proses fermentasi oleh aktivitas enzim β-glukosidase. Dilaporkan enzim β-glukosidase dihasilkan oleh Rhizopus spp. Selain itu, selama proses fermentasi Bacillus subtilis menghasilkan enzim nattokinase yang juga dapat meningkatkan aktivitas antioksidan. Pada penelitian ini proses fermentasi dilakukan menggunakan inokulum Rhizopus oligosporus, B. subtilis serta campuran keduanya dengan lama fermentasi 24 jam, 48 jam dan 72 jam. Kemudian aktivitas antioksidan diuji menggunakan larutan DPPH (1,1-difenil-2-pikrilhidrazil). Proses fermentasi pada pembuatan tempe edamame dengan inokulum R. oliosporus dan B. subtilis dapat meningkatkan aktivitas antioksidan eksogenous. Aktivitas antioksidan eksogenous tertinggi oleh R. oligosporus sebesar 97% pada fermentasi 72 jam. Kata Kunci: Kedelai edamame, Isoflavon aglikon, DPPH

Abstract

Simpang Petai village was formed due to the expansion of the village in 2008.  As a new village, Simpang Petai lacks facilities to face the challenges of implementing village development. The level of understanding and skills of the village officials for planning system is still very low.  The participation of UMKM in the implementation of village development needs to be carried out and strengthened as one of the bases of village stability and the driving force for improving the village economy.  The PkM Team of the Riau University Village Development Program, as Technical Assistance, helped solve village problems.  Inventarisasi PkM team, compile activities systematically and continuously, to improve the understanding and skills of officials and village communities in the process of preparing and implementing participatory village development planning. The forming of active participation of young people, as drivers of village UMKM, in development as the basis for the resilience of rural communities and the driving force of the village economy.  The activities of Advanced Welding Skills Practice, which with Product orientation, and Management Activities website Desa as the basis for village planning for Community Services and Marketing of Local Products succeeded in improving the economy of UMKM ABSTRAKDesa Simpang Petai terbentuk karena pemekaran desa tahun 2008. Sebagai desa baru, Simpang Petai minim fasilitas menghadapi tantangan melaksanakan pembangunan desa. Tingkat pemahaman dan keterampilan Aparat desa menyusun sistem perencanaan desa masih sangat rendah. Partisipasi UMKM dalam pelaksanaan pembangunan desa perlu dijalankan serta diperkuat sebagai salah satu basis stabilitas desa dan motor penggerak peningkatan Perekonomian desa. Tim Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat Program Bina Desa Universitas Riau, sebagai Technical Assistance, membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan desa. Inventarisasi tim PkM, menyusun kegiatan secara sistematis dan berkesinambungan, yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan Aparat dan masyarakat desa pada proses penyusunan dan implementasi perencanaan pembangunan desa yang partisipatif. Terbentuknya partisipasi aktif para pemuda, sebagai penggerak UMKM desa, dalam pembangunan sebagai basis ketahanan masyarakat desa dan motor penggerak Perekonomian desa. Kegiatan Praktik Keterampilan Pengelasan Lanjut, yang dengan orientasi Produk, dan Kegiatan Pengelolaan website Desa sebagai basis perencanaan desa untuk Pelayanan Masyarakat dan Pemasaran Produk Lokal berhasil meningkatkan ekonomi UMKM.
