Abstract

ABSTRAK Kualitas dan produktivitas alfalfa dipengaruhi oleh perlakuan yang diberikan antara lain tinggi pemotongan, jenis dan dosis pupuk. Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji karakteristik fotosintetik (luas daun, jumlah klorofil, laju fotosintesis) dan serapan fosfor hijauan alfalfa pada tinggi pemotongan dan pemupukan nitrogen yang berbeda. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Juli sampai Desember 2011. Penanaman alfalfa dilakukan di lahan Dusun Milir, Desa Kenteng, Kecamatan Bandungan, Kabupaten Semarang dengan ketinggian tempat + 800 mdpl. Analisis dilakukan di Laboratorium Ilmu Tanaman Makanan Ternak, Jurusan Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan dan Pertanian, Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok pola faktorial 2 x 4 dengan 3 ulangan. Kelompok sebagai ulangan. Tinggi pemotongan (T) sebagai faktor pertama (T1 = 5 cm dan T2 = 10 cm), dan dosis pupuk nitrogen (N) sebagai faktor kedua (N1 = 0 kg , N2 = 30 kg, N3 = 60 kg dan N4 = 90 kg N/ha). Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian adalah karakteristik fotosintesis (luas daun, jumlah klorofil, laju fotosintesis) dan serapan fosfor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemupukan nitrogen sampai dosis 90 kg N/ha serta tinggi pemotongan 5 dan 10 cm tidak berpengaruh pada luas daun, jumlah klorofil, laju fotosintesis dan serapan fosfor hijauan alfalfa. Tidak ada interaksi antara tinggi pemotongan dengan pemupukan nitrogen terhadap luas daun, jumlah klorofil, laju fotosintesis dan serapan fosfor hijauan alfalfa.Kata kunci : Alfalfa, tinggi pemotongan, pupuk nitrogen, fotosintesis, serapan fosforABSTRACT Quality and productivity of alfalfa was influence for good management, for example defoliation intensity, variety and dosage of fertilizer. The research was conducted to evaluate photosynthesis characteristics (leaf area, chlorophyll content and photosynthesis rate) and phospor uptake of alfalfa with different defoliation internsity and nitrogen fertilizer. The research was carried out on July until December 2011 at the garden in the village Kenteng, Bandungan, Semarang located at an altitude + 800 mdpl. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe study aimed to determine the effect of nitrogen fertilization and defoliation of different height to the leaf stem ratio, shot root ratio and crude fiber content in alfalfa plants (Medicago sativa). This research used factorial randomized block design (FRBD) 4x2 with 3 replicate. The main factor is the dose of nitrogen fertilization (0, 30, 60, 90 kg N/ha), the second factor is the heigth of the defoliation (5 and 10 cm). Parameters measured were leaf stem ratio, shot root ratio and crude fiber content of alfalfa. The results showed that there was no effect of nitrogen fertilization and defoliation high contrast ratio of leaf to stem, shot root ratio and crude fiber content of alfalfa. Data were analyzed with the results of research based on the F test of variance procedure and Duncan's multiple range test. The results showed that there was no effect of nitrogen fertilization and different defoliation height to leaf stem ratio, shoot root ratio and crude fiber of alfalfa. Ada indikasi nisbah daun batang dan nisbah tajuk akar hasil terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan pemupukan nitrogen 30 kg N/ha dan tinggi defoliasi 5 cm.Kata kunci: alfalfa, pemupukan nitrogen, tinggi defoliasi, nisbah daun batang, nisbah tajuk akar, serat kasar

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan manajemen pemupukan fosfat untuk pertumbuhan generatif alfalfa yang ditanam pada ketinggian tempat tertentu. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok(RAK), terdiri dari 5 perlakuan (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 kg P2O/ha) dan 4 kelompok ulangan. Variabel yang diamati adalah karakteristik pertumbuhan generatif alfalfa, yaitu jumlah tanaman berbunga, jumlah tanamanberpolong dan berat per 100 biji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pemupukan fosfat tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah tanaman yang berbunga dan berpolong pada umur 14 minggu. Pemupukan fosfat tidaknyata meningkatkan persen tanaman alfalfa yang berbunga dan berpolong, tetapi meningkatkan bobot per 100 biji. Alfalfa mutan membutuhkan pemupukan fosfat 122,50 kg P52O/ha untuk mendapatkan berat per100 biji yang maksimum.

Abstract

The research was conducted to evaluate growth  of alfalfa mutan (plant height increment, number of leaves and dry matter production) in different  Nitrogen Fertilizer and defoliation intensity. The design used was randomized block design 4x2 factorial with 3 replications. The first was dosage of Nitrogen fertilizerNitrogen   (0, 30, 60 and 90 kg N / ha),  the second factor was defoliation intensity (5 and 10 cm). Variables observed alfalfa growth (plant height increment, number of leaves, the production of dry matter (DM) forage). The results showed that different N fertilization did not affect the growth of alfalfa mutants. Defoliation intensity  affectedmnumber of leaves and   DM  production of alfalfa mutant. Fertilization to 90 kg N / ha has not affected the growth and   defoliation  intensity 10 cm gave better growth on alfalfa mutant.   [Keywords: alfalfa mutant; Nitrogen fertilizer; defoliation; growth]

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe object of this research was to study the effects of different concentrations and lengths of gibberellin immersion on growth and yield of pepper plants. The study was conducted in January-July 2018 at the Biology Laboratory of FMIPA UNNES, the Laboratory of Plants Ecology and Production, FPP UNDIP, and the plastic house on Jalan Tlogomulyo Semarang. The study was arranged with factorial completely randomized design with the first factor was the concentration of giberelin and the second factor was the duration of soaking. The results showed that the treatment of giberelin concentrations had a significant effect on the vigor index, plant height, number of leaves, age of flowering, fruit length, and fruit weight per plant. The treatment of soaking time significantly affected plant height, number of leaves, fruit length, and fruit weight per plant. The optimum Giberelin to increase germination, growth, and yield of chili plants was seed immersion using 300 ppm giberelin with 30 minutes soaking time.Keywords: chili, gibberellins, concentration,soaking time. ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh berbagai konsentrasi dan lama perendaman giberelin yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari-Juli 2018 di Laboratorium Biologi FMIPA UNNES, Laboratorium Ekologi dan Produksi Tanaman FPP UNDIP, dan rumah plastik Jalan Tlogomulyo Semarang. Penelitian disusun dengan rancangan acak lengkap faktorial dengan faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi giberelin dan faktor kedua adalah lama perendaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan konsentrasi giberelin berpengaruh nyata terhadap vigor indeks, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, umur berbunga, panjang buah, dan bobot buah per tanaman. Perlakuan lama perendaman berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang buah, dan bobot buah per tanaman.Giberelin yang optimum untuk meningkatkan perkecambahan, pertumbuhan, dan hasil tanaman cabai adalah perendaman benih menggunakan giberelin 300 ppm dengan lama perendaman 30 menit.Kata kunci: cabai, giberelin, konsentrasi, lama perendaman

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research was to observe of bioslurry fertilizer dosage and plant spacing on growth and production of pakchoy plant. The research used Factorial Completely Randomized Design 4x2 and 3 time replication. The first factor was bioslurry fertilizer dosage (0, 3, 6, 9 ton/ha). The second factor was plant spacing (20x20 cm; 25x25 cm). Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, production of fresh and dried leaves.Data were analysis of variabel and further test with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The result showed that combination of bioslurry fertilizer dosage and plant spacing were significantly affect of leaf area, production of fresh and dried leaves. The bioslurry fertilizer dosage showed significant result of all parameters. Plant spacing showed significant result of leaf area, production of fresh and dried leaves. Bioslurry fertilizer dosage 9 ton/ha with plant spacing 20x20 cm and 25x25 cm increase leaf area, production of fresh and dried leaves. Bioslurry fertilizer dosage 9 ton/ha increase all parameters. Raw plant spacing increse leaf area but decrease production of fresh and dried leaves.Keywords: Pakchoy, dosage, bioslurry fertilizer, plant spacing. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk bioslurry dan jarak tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman pakchoy. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 4x2 dengan tiga kali ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk bioslurry (0, 3, 6 dan 9 ton/ha). Faktor kedua adalah jarak tanam (20x20 cm, 25x25 cm). Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, produksi segar dan kering tajuk. Data dianalisis ragam, kemudian apabila terdapat pengaruh nyata dilanjutkan dengan uji DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh interaksi yang nyata terhadap luas daun, produksi segar dan kering tajuk. Dosis pupuk berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter penelitian. Jarak tanam berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter luas daun, produksi segar dan kering tajuk. Dosis pupuk bioslurry 9 ton/ha dengan jarak tanam 20x20 cm dan 25x25cm mampu meningkatkan luas daun, produksi segar dan kering tajuk. Dosis pupuk bioslurry 9 ton/ha meningkatkan semua parameter penelitian. Jarak tanam yang semakin lebar mampu meningkatkan luas daun tetapi menurunkan produksi segar dan kering tajuk.Kata kunci: Pakchoy, dosis, pupuk bioslurry, jarak tanam

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempertahankan kualitas viabilitas benih kelengkeng selama 30 hari penyimpanan dengan kombinasi jenis bahan pelapis yang ditambahkan ekstrak biji selasih dengan wadah simpan yang berbeda. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan rancangan acak lengkap pola faktorial 4x3 dengan 4 kali ulangan, faktor pertama yaitu pengaruh pelapisan (T) dengan perlakuan T1 (kontrol), T2 (Arabic gum + ekstrak biji selasih), T3 (Alginat + ekstrak biji selasih), T4 (Carboxyl Methyl cellulose + ekstrak biji selasih). Faktor kedua wadah simpan (P) yaitu kertas buram coklat (P1), plastik poripropilen (P2), dan aluminium foil (P3). Parameter pengamatan berupa kadar air benih, daya kecambah, indeks vigor, dan potensi tumbuh maksimum. Data dianalisis ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut Duncan Multiple Range Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan formulasi pelapisan CMC dengan ekstrak biji selasih pada wadah simpan alumunium foil dapat mempertahankan viabilitas benih kelengkeng selama penyimpanan yang paling baik dengan hasil kadar air benih kelengkeng pada perlakuan tersebut yaitu sebesar 47,68 %, daya berkecambah 83,75 %, indeks vigor benih 53,75 % dan potensi tumbuh maksimum yaitu sebesar 90 %.

Abstract

This research aimed to study the growth and yield of Okra at different nitrogen fertilizer levels and plant spacing. The experiment was assigned in a completely randomized factorial design with plant spacing (50x50 and 50x75 cm) as the first factor and nitrogen fertilizer level (0, 50, 100, 150 kg N/ha) as the second factor. Each treatments was repeated three times. Parameters measured were stem diameter, number of leaves, number of fruits per plot, and weight of fruits per plot. Data were subjected to ANOVA and followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The result showed that adding 50 kg N/ha increased stem diameter and number of leaves. The treatment of 50x50 cm spacing and 150 kg N/ha dose had the highest number of fruits per plot and weight of fruits per plot, and significantly different with 0 kg N/ha dose treatment in all parameters.

Abstract

The aimed of the research was to analyze the effect the organic fertilizer to increase growth and production of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.). The Research was conducted on April - July 2017 at Taburmas Garden, Mpu Tantular street, No. 10-12 Bandungan, Semarang. The research design was Completely Randomized Design with 7 treatmentsand 3 replications so that there were 21 units of experiment. The research used organic fertilizer 100 kg N/ha. The treatment were; T0: no organic fertilizer, T1: cow manure (1.15 kg/plot), T2: goat manure (1.16 kg/plot), T3: litter compost (1.5 kg/plot), T4: fertilizer guano (0.226 kg/plot), T5: chicken manure (1,176 kg/plot), T6: rabbit manure (0.763 kg/plot). Data were subjected to Analysis of variance(ANOVA) and continued byDuncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at α=5%. The results of this study showed that the use of organic fertilizer increased the growth and production of lettuce. Guano ferlitizer and chicken manure fertilizersresulted the highest growth and production in lettuce plants. Keywords : lettuce, organic fertilizer.

Abstract

The research aims was to investigate the interaction between dose of leaf compost and pruning on the growth and production of red okra. The research was assigned in basic design of completely randomized 4x2 factorial with three replications. The first factor was doses of leaf K (0, 50, 100, 150 kg N / ha). The second factor was pruning P (unpruned and pruned), each treatment was repeated three times. The parameters measured were stem diameter, number of leaves, number of fruits per plant, number of fruit per plot, and fruit weight per plot,. The data were analyzed statistically by of variance followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that there was no interaction effect at treatment doses of compost litter and pruning. Dosage of compost litter of 50 kg N / ha can increase the growth of girth, number of leaves, and the number of fruit per plot. Litter compost fertilizer dose of 100 kg N / ha can promote the growth and production of red okra. Pruning treatment can increase the production of red okra.
