Abstract

ABSTRACT Every month telephone users pay their telephone bill in TELKOM outlets or banks. Nowadays, Bank X Surabaya has 2 (two) telephone bill payment windows with long queue. In this case, the computer simulation model is used to find an effective queue system to anticipate customers’ dissatisfaction. Using Software Arena and Simul8, the model system is simulated into software to describe how the system works. The real system simulation  shows that the average of  utilization level of 2 telephone bill payment windows are  94% and after trying  3 telephone bill payment windows in trial and error simulation, it shows that the average of  utilization level  reduce to 36%, so that customers’ satisfaction increase. Abstract

As a product, grass paving has its own characteristic. The producers always try to keep the quality of their product to satisfy their consumers. This research tries to identify some factors that determine pressure strength of grass paving and some dominant factors generate optimum pressure strength and to recommend the ideal material composition to produce a good grass paving. The research shows    portland cement composition (A), water (B), sand (C), and ash (D) determine the pressure strength of grass paving. The combination   level factor:  2.7 kg portland cement , 0.9 lt water , 1.0 kg sand , and 2.0 kg ash  generate optimum pressure strength of grass paving. The SN ratio is derived from  2.7 kg portland cement , 0.9 lt water , interaction  between 2.7 kg portland cement  with 1.4 kg sand , and interaction between  2.7 kg portland cement with  1.0 kg sand. Abstract

AbstrakPersaingan antara industri yang satu dengan industri yang lain sangat ketat sekali untuk menghasilkan produk yang diinginkan pasar. Keberadaan kualitas suatu produk menjadi sangat penting agar produk diterima dipasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan manusia yang mempengaruhi ketidaksesuaian kualitas produk dan faktor – faktor penyebab terjadinya kesalahan manusia (human error) pada bagian  kantong kraft lem (pasted bags). Metode Human Reliability Assessment (HRA), sebuah metode pengukuran kinerja yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui keandalan manusia dalam menangani tugas yang diberikan padanya. Dalam metode Task Analysis untuk menganalisa tugas yang dilakukan oleh operator dalam mengoperasikan mesin Bottomer dan mesin Tubber. Untuk mengidentifikasi dan klasifikasi human error dengan Fault Tree Diagram yang bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana cacat produk terjadi karena kesalahan manusia dan analisa menggunakan Cut and Path Set untuk mengetahui apakah setiap basic even sudah mampu menghasilkan produk cacat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor dominan yang perlu diperhatikan oleh perusahaan adalah ketersediaan ruang gerak untuk bekerja yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai Normalized Raw Weight tertinggi 0,0613354, sedangkan faktor terendah yang berpengaruh pada kinerja operator dengan nilai Normalized Raw Weight: 0,0326744 yaitu shift kerja yang disediakan. Disamping itu, warna tinta supplier memiliki nilai Probability Of Failure (POF) tertinggi 0,2745 dan terendah dengan nilai 0,2745 adalah penyetingan mesin. Kata Kunci : Kualitas produk, Human error, Human Reliability Assessment.

Abstract

Simulation is one of the tools to solve the problems in a system, including hospital systems. The hospital has objectives and entities that are different from other systems, namely service to patients (humans) primarily, so making some decisions requires consideration due to the complexity of the variables within them. This preliminary study will discuss what problems might occur in the hospital and how the application of the simulation in solving the problem. Based on observations and interviews conducted, it is known that there are four issues: 1.) hospital services 2.) labor allocation (nurses) 3.) capacity and number of rooms/beds 4.) drug supply. Based on the literature search results, it is known that the simulation has the ability to solve these problems. The results of this literature review will then be used as a basis for developing simulation models in hospitals which are the object of research.

Abstract

Countries worldwide are still struggling to deal with the spread of COVID-19.  No country in the World has been able to get out of the pandemic yet.  The number of patients dying, recovering and getting sick shows a graph of increasing every day.  To stop the spread of COVID-19 requires uniformity and support from the community. The expected result of this study is to know and construct knowledge, perceptions, and attitudes of the community towards the Covid-19 handling program that has been and will be carried out by the government. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach to Covid-10 with an online survey method using a questionnaire provided in the form of a google form application. Data collection was carried out by stratified random sampling and disseminated through the media with a sample of 1,191 respondents in the DIY Region. Most respondents (95.1%) supported the government's efforts to change behavior in the face of the pandemic. However, 42.1% of respondents felt the government had created the right programs and policies.

Abstract

Tegal Subur Aktif Farmer Group is one of the organic tea producers located in Menoreh Hills, precisely in Nglinggo, Pagerharjo, Samigaluh, Kulon Progo. The efforts carried out by this farmer group include the procurement of tea ingredients, the provision of production facilities, the cultivation and maintenance of tea plants, the processing of agricultural products and trade in general. Processed organic tea products, such as green, black, yellow, and roasted, are produced.   Farmer groups have uncertain orders that can only be fulfilled partially, which can still affect customer satisfaction. In total, there are 95.39% of uncertain orders that can be fulfilled in the period August 2021 – March 2022. This is related to production planning with actual production caused by uncertain or regular supply of raw materials. If the collection of raw material supply is still carried out, it causes cost losses in collecting raw materials. The Tegal Subur Aktif Farmer Group has never measured its supply chain performance. If measurement is not carried out, supply chain performance may develop slowly. This study aims to measure the organic tea supply chain's performance and determine which indicators need improvement. This research uses the Supply Chain Operation References (SCOR) and Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods. Based on the data processing carried out, by measuring supply chain performance with Supply Chain Operation References (SCOR) and Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP), the supply chain performance of the Active Tegal Subur Farmer Group can be improved.

Abstract

The Central Business District (CBD) office building is making efforts to reduce building electricity costs, and one alternative is solar power plant installation. PT. Rancang Prima Sejahtera, engaged in the solar energy industry, conducts consulting services with Central Business District office buildings, so PT. Rancang Prima Sejahtera made an indicative proposal with several solar power plant installation scenarios to be installed on the roof of the Central Business District office building. Four scenarios are created from the combination of 2 PV modules and two inverters. Each scenario created will be assessed for the level of opt, and the investment value will be calculated. In combining components using the principles of the Vereun Deutsche Ingineuer (VDI) 2222 method and assessed each scenario using six aspects of assessment.Meanwhile, the investment analysis assessment uses the parameters of Cost of Energy (CoE), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit-Cost Ratio (B-CR), and discounted payback period. The results of the analysis conducted found that the third scenario was the best scenario with a percentage of the design value of 82.5%, CoE value of Rp398.31/kWh, NPV value of Rp2,451,719,005, IRR percentage of 23.75%, B-CR value of 7.8, and DPP value for 6.8 years with a project life of 30 years. The findings of the investment research indicate that the implementation of solar power plant installations in office buildings located in Central Business Districts yields long-term cost reductions in electricity expenses over a 30-year period, as opposed to relying solely on the services provided by the State Electricity Enterprise.

Abstract

This research focuses on applying Internet of Things (IoT) technology to measure energy consumption levels to reduce work accidents based on ergonomics. Work accidents caused by ergonomic factors, such as physical fatigue and discomfort, can be overcome by understanding and managing energy consumption in the work environment. Comparisons made between IoT-based approaches and traditional methods, such as manual observation and periodic evaluation, are often less efficient and unresponsive to changes in the dynamic work environment.The research methodology consists of three main stages. First, design and implement an IoT system involving intelligent sensors to measure energy consumption and ergonomic factors. Second, real-time data collection by analyzing data using artificial intelligence algorithms. Third, performance comparison between IoT-based and traditional methods through field trials and statistical analysis. The research results are expected to provide new insights regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of IoT technology in managing the risk of work accidents based on ergonomics. Future implications of this research include the potential for widespread use of IoT technology in various industrial sectors to improve worker safety and well-being. In addition, this research can pave the way for developing more sophisticated technological solutions tailored to the specific needs of each sector.
