Abstract

A study on the pathogenesis of Trypanosoma evawi was carried out in 5 buffalo calves and 5 buffalo adults, 6 Holstein-Friesian calves and 6 Holstein-Friesian adults, and 6 Ongole calves and 6 Ongole adults, each ofwhich was divided into 3 infected and 2 uninfected buffalo calves and adults, and 3 infected and 3 uninfected calves and adults of Holstein Friesians and Ongoles. None of infected animals showed acute clinical signs along the course of the observation period, however roughness of the hair and skin, emaciation, weakness and loss of weight gains were the common clinical signs. Clinical signs of calves were more severe than adults, and those of buffaloes were more severe than cattle . Gross pathological changes were not specific . The mortality rate was 2/3 in buffalo calves, 1/3 in Holstein-Friesian calves and 1/3 in Ongole calves . None of infected adults died of infection. Buffaloes had longer and higher parasitemia than Holstein-Friesians or Ongoles. Erythrocyte counts of infected animals decreased to lower levels than controls, however they fluctuated in the normal values . Haemoglobin and PCV values of infected animals were significantly lower than those of non-infected controls, and those of calves were more severe than adults, and those of buffaloes were more severe than cattle . Infections resulted in loss of weight gains which was the greatest in buffaloes then followed by Holstein-Frisians and finally Ongoles. Abstract

In this study, we want to learn how service quality affects consumer satisfaction with Saripul motor boats in the Lesung Batu, Pagar Gunung District, Lahat Regency, and what factors could influence consumer satisfaction with Saripul motor boats. This research methodology includes questionnaires, observational methods, documentation, surveys, and studies of participation using likert scales. A total of 82 consumers were surveyed using proportional stratified random sampling as the sampling technique. This study used a quantitative approach, which is to say, it used instrument reliability and validity tests, classical assumption tests like heteroskedasticity and normalcy, hypothesis tests like parcial (uji-t), F, determination (R2), linear regression, and a correlation technique. The research results show that: in the combined regression model Y = 1,192 + 0.754X, there is a positive and significant relationship between service quality and consumer satisfaction with the Saripul motor boat from Lesung Batu Village, Pagar Gunung District, Lahat Regency. We know that the service quality influences customer satisfaction since the calculated F-value of 1503,942 > the tabled F-value of 3.96 or a P-value of 0,00 < 0.05. In contrast, the t-test result of product quality 38,781 > ttable = 1,664 indicates that the service quality variable has a positive effect on the dependent variable, consumer satisfaction.

Abstract

Studies on multiculturalism in Indonesia generally focus more on goals than on the process of achieving them. They emphasize the importance of tolerance, mutual respect, maintaining harmony, respecting differences, and so on. Ma'had Al-Zaytun is a modern Islamic boarding school which has students from various cultural, ethnic and regional backgrounds. This diversity gave rise to a multicultural reality which was addressed appropriately by the leadership of Ma'had Al-Zaytun, Sheikh Panji Gumilang. This can be an example for society to be able to realistically respond to multiculturalism in Indonesia. Community Service activities aim to understand community awareness about responding to the multicultural reality in Indonesia, especially what is happening in Ma'had al-Zaytun. The method used to convey this understanding is through outreach to the community specifically for administrators and members of the Global Mulia Human Foundation about multiculturalism in Indonesia. The result of this activity is that the community gets clear information to address multicultural realities and can implement it into everyday life. The form of coaching that is considered the most realistic is none other than providing provision through the delivery of learning materials and activities that are considered useful for the administrators and members of the Global Mulia Human Foundation. The Community Service Student Creativity Program is a means for students to carry out community service. The implementation of community service uses the face-to-face learning method delivered by the presenter
