Abstract

The Abhidhamma Pitaka is a part of the Tripitaka scriptures. Abhidhamma learning can be said to be a difficult subject because it contains the teachings of metaphysics in Buddhism where there is a lot of Pali language and various terms in it, many charts. Using the mind map method can make it easier to understand the Abhidhamma Pitaka material.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to: (1) elaborate the teacher strategy in improving students’ English vocabulary mastery; (2) analyze the obstacles faced by teacher in improving students’ English vocabulary mastery; (3) elaborate the difficulties faced by students in mastering English Vocabulary. This research is a qualitative research which is a kind of a case study. The subject of the research is the students at the primary level which is amount 13 students. In collecting the data is used observation, interview, and documentation. Validity test uses triangulation technique and resources. Data analysis technique uses 3 stages namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of this research are as follows: (1) teacher’s strategy in improving students’ English vocabulary mastery are by using games and audio-visual learning media; (2) the obstacles faced by teacher in improving students’ English vocabulary mastery are the diversity of the primary students in Pagentan the limitation of English text book in the Pagentan Buddhist Sunday school; (3) the difficulties faced by students in mastering English Vocabulary are lack ability in pronunciation, to write, and to spell.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop existing teaching materials (powerpoint) into Android-based teaching materials. Which is in the form of an application (apk) that is integrated with a personal smartphone. This application is expected to facilitate the teaching and learning process. This research uses the research and development (R&D) method, which is a research method used to produce certain products, and test the effectiveness of these products.Based on the results of the questionnaire for carrying out the media test. Based on the results of the media test, the following results were obtained, the result was 92% and had very good criteria and there was no need to revise the media being developed. Meanwhile, a questionnaire was given to material experts. The researcher got the data from filling out the 80% criterion questionnaire and had good criteria. With the development of Android-based learning media, it is hoped that it will facilitate learning in the Abhidhamma Pitaka course at STAB Negeri Raden Wijaya. In addition, the media can be used as teaching materials which can be optimized as a second source after the Abhidhamma book.Keywords: Abhidhamma, Android, Learning Media, Applications

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguraikan makna pindapata sebagai praktik keyakinan umat Buddha di hari uposatha. Fokus pada penelitian ini adalah membahas bagaimana pindapata dapat meningkatkan keyakinan umat Buddha. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Pindapata adalah pengumpulan dana makanan oleh Bhikkhu atau menerima persembahan makanan dari perumah tangga. Berdana makanan kepada Bhikkhu akan mendapatkan manfaat yang tiada tara: usia panjang (ayu), ketampanan atau kecantikan (vanno), kebahagiaan (sukha), dan kekuatan (bala). Konsep kepercayaan didasari ehipassiko (lihat, datang dan buktikan). Keyakinan dalam agama Buddha tidak semata-mata hanya percaya namun harus dibuktikan sendiri. Kondisi batin dalam melaksanakan dana, dapat mendorong karma baik ketika dilaksanakan. Citta dan cetasika, faktor batin dan pikiran, seorang pendana akan menghasilkan karma. Faktor kebijaksanaan setelah melaksanakan dana akan menjadi faktor penerima bahagia.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi memiliki pengaruh pada metode pembelajaran pendidikan agama Buddha melalui pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai media belajar. Era perkembangan digital siswa sudah terbiasa menggunakan gadget sebagai sarana informasi dan komunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan Google Sites dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama buddha dan mengukur tingkat validitas serta kepraktisan penggunaan Google Sites sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah ADDIE yang terdiri yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu, analisys, design, describe, implementation dan evaluation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan yang signifikan dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media Google Sites yakni hasil penilaian dari ahli media adalah 4,1 yang dikatakan valid dan penilaian ahli materi 3,9. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian itu dapat dinyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran menggunakan google sites pada pendidikan agama buddha kelas VIII SMP adalah valid dan mudah digunakan.

Abstract

Infidelity is a severe problem because it can destroy domestic life. In addition, the impact and causes of disloyalty are based on attention, adequacy in the economy, and the desire to try new things. Another factor that causes unfaithfulness is the lack of communication between the husband and the wife. This article aims to discover Buddhism's infidelity and how to overcome it. The method used in this study is qualitative. The essence of this study is that disloyalty can be classified as a violation of Buddhist pancasila. In addition, disloyalty leads to divorce and trauma for the child. The child will feel hatred for the parents and become the subject of anger from the parents. In addition, the impact and causes of disloyalty are based on attention, adequacy in the economy, and the desire to try new things. The attempt to handle this matter is the application of Sigalovada Sutta and Samvara to seek the continuity of the marriage. Applying each other's relationship is the main capital for the continuity of the marriage. Samvara, or self-control, and the correct implementation of precepts will positively impact domestic life

Abstract

Candi Borobudur, sebuah keajaiban arsitektur dan warisan budaya Indonesia, menandai salah satu puncak pencapaian peradaban masa lalu. Terletak di dataran tinggi Jawa Tengah, Candi Borobudur memiliki sejarah panjang yang melibatkan berbagai peristiwa dan transformasi budaya. Keunikan struktur dan keindahan ukiran reliefnya tidak hanya mencerminkan kekayaan seni dan keagungan arsitektur, tetapi juga menjadi saksi bisu perjalanan spiritual dan perkembangan masyarakat pada masa lalu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui makna Jataka Mala terhadap kehiudpan umat Buddha di Kabupaten Gunung Kidul. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode Trianggulasi data. Hasil dari penelitian ini Jataka Mala, sebagai kumpulan kisah kehidupan Buddha, memiliki makna religius yang mendalam bagi umat Buddha, khususnya dalam perjalanan spiritual mereka. Kisah-kisah Jataka mengajarkan nilai-nilai seperti kebajikan, kesabaran, dan pengorbanan yang menjadi inspirasi dalam praktik Dharma sehari-hari. bahwa ajaran dalam Jataka mengembangkan welas asih, empati, serta saling menghormati antar sesama.

Abstract

This research aims to determine student interest at SMB Vihara Maitri Ratna by using learning media. Buddhist Sunday School (SMB) includes non-formal education carried out at monasteries or cetiya. During the learning process in class, of course there is a problem, namely students who are less enthusiastic and don't understand what the teacher is teaching. So teachers must be able to create a comfortable classroom atmosphere, for this reason a teacher and students must work to create it. In this case, improving learning carried out in the classroom is important for teachers to increase interest in learning among their students, namely by teachers carrying out learning using interactive, interesting and creative learning media in delivering the material so that the students they teach can understand what is being conveyed by them. the teacher. Learning media are tools or means used to convey information, concepts or knowledge to students. The use of learning media aims to increase students' understanding, skills and interest in learning. It is hoped that it can attract students' interest in learning and motivate students to study Buddha Dhamma.
