Abstract

The application of sewage treatment in New Delhi should implement the treatment processes, which are easy to be operated and is not costly operational and avoid the complexity of the operating system of STP. The renewed interest in alternative onsite treatment technology by using a constructed wetland (CW). Canna lily, an ornamental plant that has an aesthetic value, is very suitable for an alternative plant for a constructed wetland. This study aims to observe the ability of canna lily for phytotechnology implementation in a constructed wetland. This study is known as a range-finding test (RFT), which served as a preliminary test. Observation is conducted by preparing variation concentration of wastewater; 25%; 50%; 75%; 100% and 0% as control, which was injected into the wetland. CW (60 cm long, 60 cm wide and 60 cm deep) contained gravel medium height 25 cm with a wastewater volume 3 L. Observation measured the height of the plant, the color of the leaf, and DO, and BOD concentration. The observation was conducted for about 25 days, in term of 15 days for range finding test and 10 days for acclimation. The results show that Canna lily could grow well, though it has some part of the withered leaf, reach height significantly, and indicated decreasing concentration of organic parameters. It is conjectured that Canna lily is very possible for a constructed wetland application.

Abstract

Many advantages are obtained in treatment using microalgae. Microalgae treatment using an oxidation ditch can remove organic matter in wastewater. On the other side, the wastewater treatment using microalgae with oxidation ditch algae reactor (ODAR) to reduce organic matter also produces by-products that are harmful if dissolved in water. Processing in ODAR has Effluent Organic Matter (EfOM) and Algae Organic Matter (AOM) which are by-products of the microalgae process. The content of these compounds can lead to the formation of DBPs in water. This research was conducted on control variation (without microalgae) and variation of the volume of waste and microalgae 1:3, with oxic and oxic-anoxic conditions. Spectroscopy FTIR test is used to determine the organic matter contained through its functional groups. In the oxic-anoxic control variation, the FTIR percentage increased to 46.63% on the fifth day. In control oxic variation, it decreased to 46.12%. Meanwhile, in the oxic-anoxic 1:3 variation, the percentage decreased on the fifth day to 46.39%, and in oxic conditions, the rate was 46.8%. From the results obtained, the addition of microalgae can increase the content of organic matter in processing due to the by-products produced by microalgae and bacteria in processing.

Abstract

Small and medium Enterprises (SMEs) are a group of one of the largest economic actors in the Indonesian economy and have proven to be a safeguard for the national economy in times of crisis and also create sizable job opportunities for domestic workers, thus greatly assisting efforts to reduce unemployment caused by difficulties looking for jobs. This research is classified into qualitative research. Respondents were taken using purposive sampling technique. The method used is analysis using SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). The results of research with SWOT analysis show that in managing finances, they still use traditional records, in products they still use recipes for the taste and quality of food and beverages, in promotions they are passive in waiting for consumers, strategic locations and neatly arranged.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct risk analysis on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with a case study on XYZ MSMEs using the SWOT analysis method. Risk analysis is crucial in identifying internal and external factors that can affect business continuity. By applying the SWOT approach, this research evaluates the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by XYZ MSMEs. By identifying these factors, this research provides a holistic picture of the internal and external conditions of XYZ MSMEs and the risks that may arise. The SWOT method is used as a tool to formulate an effective risk management strategy to increase the competitiveness and resilience of XYZ MSMEs in the market. The results of this analysis can be the basis for more targeted strategic decision making and risk planning in supporting the growth of MSMEs in a dynamic business environment.

Abstract

This research aims to increase the efficiency of raw material management in the Warmindo Sugar Pak Har UMKM business by considering possible risks, optimizing order sizes, and determining manufacturing order times. An approach using the FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) method is used to systematically identify risks that can affect the availability of raw materials. Next, this research looks for the optimal solution by calculating the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) to determine the economical order size. The first specific objective is to identify risks that may occur in procuring raw materials, while the second specific objective is to optimize order sizes in order to minimize storage and purchasing costs. The third step is to determine the optimal time to place an order for making raw materials in order to maintain a smooth production process and avoid stock shortages. The results of this research are expected to provide insight to Warmindo Sugar Pak Har MSMEs regarding the risks that need to be anticipated in procuring raw materials, provide recommendations regarding economical order sizes, and increase understanding regarding ordering time control. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of more effective and efficient raw material management strategies in the context of MSMEs.
