Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif word square (kata persegi) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia pokok pembahasan Menentukan Unsur Cerita Pendek. Adapun yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V MI Wahid Hasyim tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Pelaksanaan proses penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus diadakan refleksi terhadap proses pembelajaran dengan meperhatikan kekurangan-kekurangan yang ada pada siklus I, maka perlu diadakan beberapa perbaikan pada siklus ke II. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Adapun isntrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes objektif dalam bentuk pilihan ganda (Multiple Choice). Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I berdasarkan hasil belajar peserta didik diperoleh hasil penghitungan untuk nilai rata-rata (mean) sebesar 77,62 dari 21 jumlah peserta didik. Sedangkan pada siklus II dari 21 jumlah peserta didik yang mengikuti tes hasil belajar diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 81,05. Setelah penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti ini selesai dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia pokok pembahasan Menentukan Unsur Cerita Pendek peserta didik kelas V MI Wahid Hasyim tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. dapat meningkat dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif word square.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pemilihan metode pembelajaran bertujuan untuk membantu peserta didik agar dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. kooperatif learning tipe Jigsaw dan Word Square dapat dijadikan metode alternatif untuk mendorong peserta didik aktif dan belajar bekerjasama dengan pasangannya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menguji keefektifan antara metode Jigsaw dan Word Square dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif dan afektif peserta didik di MI NW 1 Kembang Kerang Aikmel Lombok Timur. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif eksprimen yang yang sangat kuat mengukur hubungan sebab akibat, dan desain penelitiannya menggunakan Nonequivalen Control Group Design. Populasi sekaligus sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V MI NW 1 Kembang Kerang Lombok Timur tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 61 peserta didik, 31 kelas Va dan 30 kelas Vb. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam mengolah data penelitian yaitu uji prasyarat analisis meliputi normalitas dan homogenitas dan uji t. Hasil uji hipotesis untuk kemampuan kognitif peserta didik yaitu menggunakan rumus independent-sample t test, melalui program SPSS versi 20 menunjukkan bahwa, sig. (2 tailed) 0,00 < α= 0,05 dengan hasil uji t (t hitung > t tabel = 4,513 > 2,001). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dan pada pengujian kemampuan afektif peserta didik juga menggunakan rumus independent-sample t test, melalui program SPSS versi 20 menunjukkan bahwa, sig. (2 tailed) 0,00 < α= 0,05 dengan hasil uji t (t hitung > t tabel = 4,6201 > 2,043751 ) maka Ha diterima, sehingga kesimpulannya ada perbedaan signitifikan kemampuan kognitif dan afektif peserta didik antara metode Jigsaw dengan metode Word Square di MI NW 1 Kembang Kerang Lombok Timur.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the readiness of higher education LPTK students in Lombok to become professional MI/SD teacher candidates in terms of knowledge, practice, and attitude, as well as to describe the dominant factors that hinder the readiness to become professional MI/SD teacher candidates. This type of research is quantitative survey method. Instruments for collecting test data, questionnaires, and observation sheets. This study aims to obtain an overview of the characteristics of the population related to the readiness of students to become professional MI/SD teacher candidates. The population in this research is Mataram State Islamic University and Mataram University. The sampling technique used is area sampling. The results of this study indicate in terms of knowledge about students and how to learn the results of the analysis show an average value of 25.74 in the high category. This shows that students are ready to become MI/D professional teachers. While the questionnaire on the ability to carry out learning when viewed from the average value, which is 136.24 in the high category. In the aspect of perception of being an MI/SD teacher, the average score is 103.60 with the agree category. Furthermore, on the confidence data to become a professional MI/SD teacher, the data analysis results obtained an average of 140.04 with the agree category

Abstract

Number operations is a fundamental and very important material in mathematics learning. However, conditions in the field show that many children still have a low understanding of the concept of jarimatik. This is due to children's lack of interest in mathematics from an early age because it is considered a difficult subject, so their interest in learning becomes low. To overcome this, it is necessary to implement simple and fun learning methods so that children are interested in learning mathematics from an early age. This service activity uses a mentoring method in the form of tutoring which is carried out regularly by children in Sembalun Lawang Village, Sembalun District. every Saturday and Sunday for one month. The goal of this activity is to help children understand the concept of number operations in an easy way while increasing their interest in learning through a fun approach. The service method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), with coordination and socialization steps, the implementation of tutoring, observation and data collection, and reflection. The results of this activity showed an increase in students' numeracy skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division operations, as well as an increase in interest in learning mathematics among children in Sembalun Lawang Village, Sembalun District through the application of the jarimatika method in tutoring.
