Abstract

AbstractThe industry of information and communication technology (ICT) has an important role in the transition of economic-based knowledge, and has a chance in the social-economic development, particularly for the developing countries. Human capital is indeed important in the knowledge-based sector like IT industry. In developing countries, particularly Indonesia, human capital was the strongest factor to stimulate the growth of IT industry. Human capital is intangible asset which is very important to be developed. Therefore, companies must invest their capital to develop their human capital which tends to give a high impact on companies performance. This paper explained and analyzed the role of human capital in term of ICT industry development in Indonesia, then developed the model by summarizing existing theories that explained the relationship between development of human capital and the performance of ICT companies. The model that developed was expected to be the benchmark for human capital development in the other industries, particularly in developing country.AbstrakIndustri teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) memainkan peran utama dalam transisi pengetahuan berbasis ekonomi, dan berpeluang untuk pembangunan sosial-ekonomi, terutama bagi negara-negara berkembang. Human capital memainkan peran penting dalam sektor berbasis pengetahuan seperti industri TIK. Di negara berkembang khususnya Indonesia, human capital merupakan faktor pendorong penting pertumbuhan industri TIK. Sehingga, perusahaan harus meng- investasikan sumber daya yang diperlukan dalam mengembangkan sumber daya manusia yang cenderung memiliki dampak yang besar pada kinerja. Artikel ini menjelaskan dan menganalisis peran modal manusia dalam pengembangan industri TIK di Indonesia serta me- ngembangkan model berdasarkan rangkuman teori yang telah ada yang menjelaskan hubungan antara pengembangan modal manusia dan kinerja perusahaan ICT. Model yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan human capital di industri lainnya, khususnya di negara berkembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberadaan manajemen talenta yang ada di perusahaan Lintasarta ini yang masih dikatakan baru berdiri yakni pada tahun 2014 ini memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja yang ada pada perusahaan Lintasarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Jenis data yang dibutuhkan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode probability sampling jenis simple random sampling, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 240 karyawan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji t menunjukkan bahwa “variabel manajemen talenta dalam dengan signifikan memberikan kontribusi terhadap variabel kinerja” sedangkan dalam Teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan pengaruh perubahan pada variabel manajemen talenta terhadap variabel kinerja sebesar 63.8%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat stres, tingkat kepuasan kerja dalam perusahaan dan bagaimana pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pada karyawan CV Fatih Terang Purnama. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan melakukan penyebaran kuisioner terhadap 160 responden dengan jumlah pertanyaan sebanyak 68 dengan skala likert 4 titik. Metode sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan nonprobability dengan teknik purposive sampling. Dalam menjelasakan hasil penelitian, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah anaisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan CV Fatih Terang Purnama. Koefisien determinasi yang didapatkan dengan nilai R square sebesar 43.4% artinya stres kerja memiliki kontribusi pengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hasil penelitian ini akan menjadi masukan bagi CV Fatih Terang Purnama untuk selalu mengelola tangkat stress kerja yang bisa dialamai suatu saat oleh karyawan yang dapat menurunkan kepuasan kerja pada masing masing karyawan dalam perusahaan dengan selalu memperhatikan kesejahteraan karyawan.

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan memiliki peranan yang sangat penting bagi keberhasilan perusahaan, faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan salah satunya yaitu motivasi kerja. Tingginya motivasi kerja akan berdampak positif terhadap kenaikan tingkat kinerja karyawan. Berdasarkan data internal yang telah diperoleh mengalami penurunan pada setiap tahunnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi motivasi kerja dan kinerja karyawan PT.XYZ, serta seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. XYZ. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyakan 206 karyawan yang merupakan karyawan tetap PT. XYZ. Teknik sampling menggunakan rumus slovin dan pengambilan data menggunakan teknik incidental. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik diperoleh bahwa H1 diterima artinya motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. XYZ dengan besaran pengaruh sebesar 31%. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan evaluasi bagi perusahaan dimasa yang akan datang untuk memahami bagaimana kondisi motivasi kerja karyawan.

Abstract

Industri teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) memainkan peran utama dalam transisi pengetahuan berbasis ekonomi, dan berpeluang untuk pembangunan sosial-ekonomi, terutama bagi negara-negara berkembang. Human capital memainkan peran penting dalam sektor berbasis pengetahuan seperti industri TIK. Di negara berkembang khususnya Indonesia, human capital merupakan faktor pendorong penting pertumbuhan industri TIK. Sehingga, perusahaan harus menginvestasikan sumber daya yang diperlukan dalam mengembangkan sumber daya manusia yang cenderung memiliki dampak yang besar pada kinerja. Artikel ini menjelaskan dan menganalisis peran modal manusia dalam pengembangan industri TIK di Indonesia serta mengembangkan model berdasarkan rangkuman teori yang telah ada yang menjelaskan hubungan antara pengembangan modal manusia dan kinerja perusahaan ICT. Abstract

Work motivation can be seen from the data and employee attendance employee delays the data in the company, judging by the attendance of data and delays the data of employees of PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero). From the Data Obtained can be said that the attendance and delay of employees of PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) is fairlygood in every month. As for measuring the performance of employees in this research, they have a Key Performance Indicator and, preliminary questionnaire. This research aims to know the condition of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) Jakarta as well as influence the intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation to the employee performance. The approach to this research is quantitative with the type of descriptive research using IBM SPSS 20. While the method of analysis used is multiple linear regression. Method of collecting the data through the dissemination of questionnaires using sample 272 employees. The sampling method uses probability sampling technique while sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The results of the study proved that the motivation of intrinsic partially work has a significant influence on employee performance, while the extrinsic motivation of work has no significant influence on the employee's performance. Also the results proved that the motivation of intrinsic work and motivation of extrinsic work have a simultaneous influence on the employee's performance. It is hoped that Researchers can then use other variables such as organizational culture, job satisfaction, and employee commitment. To know other aspects not addressed in this research and can also use other research methods such as path analysis and SEM analysis. Advice for companies to provide creativity training that aims to provide opportunities for its employees to bring out the idea of ​​the free as rational as possible.

Abstract

To get a superior quality, human resources is certainly not in spite of the achievements, accomplishments in educational institutions can certainly be measured by the value of academic and one of the factors that may affect the achievement of learning is student engagement because when learners are able to give all his efforts to understand the material provided they are likely to have a good record. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Industrial Engineering Telkom University with student engagement as independent variables and academic achievement as the dependent variable. The purpose of this study was to determine how high student engagement, academic achievement of students as well as, to examine how high the influence of student engagement to academic achievement in students of Industrial Engineering Telkom. The respondents are 310 active students at the Faculty of Industrial Engineering Telkom University. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression. Based on the results of the study showed that student engagement at the high category and learning achievement in honors. While the statistical test results obtained that student, engagement has no effect on academic achievement in students of Industrial Engineering Telkom University.

Abstract

Education is a factor in building quality human resources. Student engagement in a university is important, because if student engagement is increased, the achievement of learning is increasing as well as, when the student engagement experiences a decline Learning was declining. This research aims to find out an influence of student engagement on student Faculty of Creative Industries Universitas Telkom Bandung with total population of 3033 active students with samples 354 from the calculation result using the formula Slovin. The method used is a survey with the incidental sampling technique, this research data using simple linear regression tests, the results gained on this research show that student Engagement has no significant effect on the study achievement in active students of the faculty of Creative Industries of Telkom University of Bandung. These results have been proven based on the H0 accepted hypothesis and H1 rejected that the student engagement has no significant influence on the learning achievement with a percentage of 0.1%, and the remaining 99.9% can be caused by other factors not examined in this study

Abstract

Covid is mandating that all businesses around the globe be able to accommodate flexible work schedules. In addition, many companies are instituting work-from-home policies due to social interaction restrictions. This condition makes it difficult for businesses to establish explicit FWA regulations. The implementation of a WFA presents numerous obstacles, particularly concerning WFC. Certain conditions will have a negative impact on employees who are tasked with completing work in addition to domestic responsibilities. If no distinct rules govern this, it will be difficult for employees to manage their time, negatively impacting employee performance. Members continue to believe that the FWA settings are not optimal one year after the pandemic has begun. Many employees still confront WFC when completing work and homework simultaneously. This condition stipulates that implementing FWA must be enhanced to reduce the risk of WFC. The data acquisition method is a survey of 100 employees in the manufacturing industry that produces steel. According to the study's findings, the Work-Family Conflict (WFC) was in the lowest category, with employees believing that the tasks assigned are balanced between work and family to avoid creating work-family conflicts. While the FWA implementation was rated acceptable, it makes it easier for employees to manage their time more flexibly to complete their work. The obtained results can assist the organization in enhancing its procedures for implementing the FWA. Keywords—Work-Family Conflict; Flexible Work Arrangement

Abstract

The automotive industry face intense competition to win the customers’ choice. In doing so, they need to have a powerful sales team to pursue their target. Individual with higher satisfaction in their job will certainly give better contribution to organization. One of the antecedent of job satisfaction is compensation. The aim of the study is to analyze the effect of employee perception on job satisfaction. We use 385 automotive sales department in Bandung as participant. Data was collected using 50 items questionnaire. The Regression analysis with SPSS used to measure the effect of compensation on job satisfaction. The study found the correlation between two variables is 0,614. The effect of compensation on job satisfaction is 0.377. The result proved that compensation still become important factor to build employees’ satisfaction.this is in line with the automotive companys’ policy which always provide bonuses for those who achieve the target and perform. This policy will drive employees to maintain their performance. Then, the positive cycle of rewards, satisfaction, and performance will keep on going.Keywords: Job satisfaction, Compensation, Automotive Industry
