Background: Bacteria are unicellular prokaryotic microorganisms which are abundant in nature. This study aims to isolate and identify bacteria present in the leaves of Kawista (Limonia acidissima L.). Method: The identification process was carried out in a microbiology analyzer with the help of the BD Phonix M50 identification tool. The study was conducted at the West Nusa Tenggara Province Testing and Calibration Laboratory for Health, using kawista (Limonia acidissima L.) leaves obtained from West Sumbawa Regency. Results: The results showed eight bacterial isolates were found including Bacillus sp, Bacillus megaterium, Staphylococcus sp, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus capitis, Streptococcus oralis, Leuconostoc mesenteroides spp. mesenteroides, and Shewanella putrefaciens. Conclusion: Diversity of types of bacteria can be studied through the process of identification. This study aims to isolate and identify bacteria found in kawista leaves. The identification method is carried out in a microbiology analyzer with the help of the BD Phonix M50 identification tool. Bacteria found on the leaves of kawista (Limonia acidissima L.) consist of a group of endophytic bacteria, lactic acid bacteria, metal reducing bacteria, and pathogenic bacteria.

Supervision is a form of supervision carried out in elementary schools as a form of quality control in the implementation of education. Supervision activities can be carried out by the principal and collaborate with school supervisors so that the results of supervision are of higher quality. The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of the collaborative supervision of supervisors and principals. The research method is qualitative description through case studies. The participants were teachers of grades 1 to 6 and teachers of sports subjects. The research was conducted at SDN 1 Batukura Narmada, West Lombok. Data were collected through the process of observation and interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the school administration and the implementation of the learning process had been prepared by the teachers quite well. However, the process of preparing thematic lesson plans still faces obstacles. The results of this study can be seen in the impact of improving the quality of education and the quality of education in elementary schools. In addition, the form of cooperation between the principal and the supervisor is one way at SDN 1 Batukura Narmada shows the level of participation in building the quality of education.

The abilities of students can affect learning outcomes. One capability that is closely related to learning outcomes is the ability to think logically which improves students’ understanding of knowledge. This study aims to determine cognitive learning outcomes and logical thinking ability of students in science subjects through the guided inquiry learning model. The quasi-experimental research was conducted with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population was all students of seventh grade of Miftahul Ishlah Islamic Junior high School in Mataram-Lombok.The sample was determined by cluster random sampling technique. The subjective test and the rubric of logical thinking ability were instruments used. Data were analyzed using SPSS MANCOVA, which preceded the prerequisite test, ie test for normality and homogeneity. The results showed that the guided inquiry learning model had a significant effect on the student's cognitive learning outcomes and logical thinking ability with p = 0.000, and its’ corrected mean score of learning outcomes was 95%, and corrected mean score of logical thinking ability was 71%, higher than that of student in the conventional learning model.

The microalgae community structure in an aquatic ecosystem is strongly influenced by environmental factors. One of the rivers in Indonesia, located inhe island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, is the Jangkok River. The Jangkok River is widely used by residents for activities, including industry, cultivation, waste disposal, and others. This study aimed to determine the structure of microalgae community in Jangkok River. This research was carried out with an exploration descriptive method by quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data were analyzed quantitatively by calculating the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H’), Uniformity index (E) and Dominance index (d). The results showed that the diversity of microalgae was categorized as moderate (H' = 2.66), uniformity index (E = 0.66), and the dominance index indicate that there were no dominant species with a value (D = 0.13).

The 21st century skills that must be possessed by pre-service biology teachers is metacognitive skills. Metacognition refers to a person's abilities about his cognition and everything related. This descriptive study aims to describe the level of metacognitive skills of pre-service biology teachers. The data collection procedure was carried out by a metacognitive skill rubric that integrated with essay test. The subjects of this study were 70 of pre-service biology teacher at Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram in the 2021/2022 academic year. The research data were analyzed descriptively by determining the percentage of metacognitive skill levels. The results showed that the mean level of pre-service biology teachers’ metacognitive skills was “starting to develop” (44.35). The pre-service teachers with “have so developed category” occupies the highest percentage (41%), while the lowest percentage is occupied by the category of “still very risky” and “very well developed” with a percentage 6% of each

The Covid-19 virus outbreak has changed the learning process in higher education from face-to-face learning to distance learning online (on the network). Distance learning via online raises obstacles or challenges faced by both lecturers and students. This research aims to determine the obstacles to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic among prospective science teacher students at Mataram State Islamic University. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research using Internet-based research methods through the distribution of Google forms. The research population was all Tadris IPA Biology students and there were 23 students as respondents. Research data analysis uses qualitative analysis techniques. From the research results, it was concluded that the obstacles faced by students include network disruption, limited and expensive internet quota, e-learning disruption, lack of lecturer explanations, an environment that disrupts focus on learning, and economic problems

Edible coating is a barrier, thin layer of consumable material to maintain moisture and slow down the respiration process of a product. In order to preserve the quality of red chili, this study aims to find the ideal taro starch concentration to use as an edible covering. Six treatments of taro starch concentration—0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5%—were used in experimental research utilizing a completely randomized design (CRD). Hedonic organoleptic testing produced the data. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) is then performed based on the level of panelist preference, and an LSD test is applied if there is a significant difference. The findings indicated that a 5% concentration of taro starch works best as an edible covering material to preserve the quality of red chili
