At PT. Galleon Cahaya Investama which in this case much needed electrical appliance to be used in distribution network that is one tool of cubicles before marketed at other company. Cubiclesis a connecting device, divider and disconnecting load doing testing. In this cubicle insulation testing,cubicle is already in pairs and have connected with The transformer after that just done insulation testing with mega ohm meter, because cubicle is already 5 with the transformer then the insulation resistance value will be reduced because of the existing transformer windings in it. In testing leakage current PMT component is still in good condition, seen from test results that is still Below 300 μA, and in the test of isolation resistance, also in good condition, looking from the results that have been tested still shows the value above the standard isolation resistance. With visual inspection by looking at the results of work with the eyes and tools, namely see the shape, rust and placement of components that have been right.

One way to optimize the flow of energy on a distribution channel is to reconfigure the network. This research aim to get optimal distribution system at PT.PLN Area Banjarmasin Penyulang BJM02, MTL04 and MTL10. The MTL10 repeater that will be recovered by reconfiguring the network to divide the load on the nearest repeater is the BJM02 and MTL04 feeders. This study uses 3 scenarios with regard to the state of the existing network to obtain a minimum power loss. In order to obtain a good conclusion then the analysis obtained that before the reconfiguration penyulang BJM02, MTL04 and MTL10 experienced energy losses 521,286 W. Resolving the problem then the network reconfiguration can be done on the BJM02 Repeater will divide the load of KST02 and the load of the earth in the circumference basirih earth in the feeder MTL04 to the MTL10 feeder. In configuring the network the thing that can be done is to open the KST02 circuit breaker at the KS.Tubun relay substance and close the disconneting switch (BJM02 Repeater) so that it connects with the MTL04 repeater. The MTL04 repeater will cut the muzzle throughput cable and connect the cable to the earth's basirih circular housing so that the load until KST02 is connected. The results obtained after reconfiguration can minimize power losses of 20,418 W.

The demand for electricity will continues to increase each time, this is because of the number of PLN’s customers will continues too to grow each year. Therefore, this is directly proportional to growing the amount of electricity that have to be streamed. With the increasing of the number of PLN’s customers, the provider (PLN) have to increase the amount of electricity supply as well. In the era of globalization, the efficiency of electrical power has always been the main issued, both from the providers and the customers. Therefore, the realibility of distribution system of electrical power will been the main issued as well. The index that showing the reliability of the distribution system of electrical power is SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index) and SAIFI (System Average Interuption Frequency Index). As small as the value of the indexes, both SAIDI and SAIFI is so the more reliable the system, which means the efficiency of the distribution system is good (high efficiency). In this research will be discussed about the analysis of SAIDI and SAIFI values of Cahaya feeder, as well as how to suppress the value of SAIDI and SAIFI. Realibilty index SAIDI and SAIFI on Cahaya Feeder in the year of 2017 is 2.277 hours/costumers/year dan 2.406 time/costumers/years. That is reliable based on SPLN 59:1985 standard. Cost loss in year of 2017 due to outage on the Cahaya Feeder is IDR 12,794,305,-

Power plant distribution by considering load change towards time is the development of conventional power distribution because it calculates the ramp rate unitr parameter of power plant. Power distribution of thermal power plant under the load condition that change toward time is used to determine the optimum generation schedule so that it can fulfill the load demand with minimum operational cost when sharing the limitation of system and operation throughout the whole period of generation. Spinning reserve is also considered in power plant distribution, since spinning reserve is used for maintaining the system’s constraint of each operations. In this case, if one unit of power plant is failed, there must be any capacity that could supply the power from another unit to accomplish such condition that happens within a period. This research uses quadratic programming to accomplish power distribution that calculates load change toward time, thus solve power distribution without trespassing the ramp rate parameter and spinning reserve which has been specified. Three unit of power plants were used in this research with short - term load demand and specified ramp rate . From the analysis of results, it can be seen that quadratic programming is not violate constrain ramp rate of power plant, whilst conventional method can not do the calculation of generation with a ramp rate constraint. The result analysis also shows that generation cost using quadratic programming is cheaper ($46659,49) compared to that of conventional method ($47064,01).

This research discusses the fulfillment of the electricity needs of remote communities that are closely related to electrification ratios. Electrification ratios in some isolated areas and scattered islands in Indonesia are still very low. To date, most of the electricity needs in Indonesia is still supplied by Diesel Power Electricity Generator (PLTD) which uses diesel as its fuel. Therefore, it is necessary the utilization of renewable energy as one step to fulfill the electrical energy needs. This research studies about the utilization of wind energy with PLTB by using low speed wind turbine to fulfill the electricity needs of remote communities and scattered islands in Indonesia. NT1000W is the latest technology of low speed wind turbine that can operate at wind speed of 1 m/d up to 60 m/d appropriate to the wind conditions in Indonesia. Testing conducted in west Sumatera particularly in Padang city and Kapo-Kapo Island provide a feasibility of PLTB NT1000W technically and financially.

One of the operating disruptions that occur in the synchronous generator is the loss of excitation. Where this interference will cause the generated reactive power generator is reduced even lost so that the synchronous generator must absorb the reactive power of the system. If this condition occurs continuously can cause damage to the stator coil, will occur worsening insulation and the stator end iron so as to cause short circuit, or interruption of soil relations in the future. So to anticipate the impact of such disturbances required a protection system. The protection system used in PLTGU Muara Tawar GT unit 1.3 is a minimum reactance relay. This jurnal discusses how to determine the value of loss excitation protection setting using minimum reactance relay and offset relay mho so that synchronous generator can work optimally. From the research calculation the minimum reactance relay usage will work on XA-setting value zone (-2.55 p.u) with 0.5 seconds delay time, XB-setting (offset) of -0.1156 p.u with 0.5 seconds delay time. As for offset relay mho will work on zone 1 and zone 2 for offset value of -0.109 p.u with delay time 0.1 second. As for zone 1 for the base impedance ( ) of -1.0 p.u with a delay time of 0.1 seconds and zone 2 synchronous reactance value ( of 2.423 p.u with a delay time of 0.5 seconds. From those results it is considered sufficient to detect the loss of excitation in the synchronous generator.

The current fire hazard is increasingly common, not only from human error or also gas leakage and the use of electrical equipment that does not detect earlier the possibility of fire and this tool is a fire sensing system. The work system is meant by some of the same ways and the occurrence of fire that exist in a room, and provide it with a buzzer. The purpose of making this tool is for an alarm system that can share a fire and explain how the process works. The result of making this tool, the sensor managed to detect the heat caused by the fire and buzzer issued an alarm sound.

A good electric power system must have a voltage value that does not exceed the tolerance limit and small power losses. The tolerable limit for a voltage value (+ 5%; - 10%) of its nominal value. A constant voltage value will optimize the performance of the electrical equipment used by the consumer. While the small power losses will keep the power supply in accordance with the needs of consumers, and can reduce financial losses that occur during the transmission and distribution process. In this thesis will be a study to improve the quality of stress on the distribution network by reconfiguring the network. The process of repair is done on medium voltage network by opening or closing Fuse Cut Out, Load Break Switch, Disconnecting Switch, adding substation insertion, and change the position of Process Tap Changer to provide the most optimum repair value. Improved voltage on this thesis is simulated using ETAP 12.6.0 software. From the simulation results will be obtained the most optimal voltage improvement is in the case study 1 on the most bus end of the Bus GRA 706 with a voltage of 16.12 kV, case study 2 voltage rose to 19.66 kV and case study 3 voltage to 19,661 kV.

In this research designed data communication system for home based garage control via wireless LAN. Data communication systems for Web-based control via the wireless LAN is a system used to monitor and control the garage door with the web remotely. Controlling center lies in a browser that can be accessed through a smartphone connected to a LAN network that will be the user interface with the garage door to be controlled. In this system will be paired Ethernet module connected wireless router as telecommunications media. With this system, the user can control the monitor, garage door remotely while it is connected to the wireless router. So the user does not need manual control at close range, the user can also know the state-controlled garage door via the web. The final stage is a software design then the system can be tested as a whole to determine the ability of the system, response time required to perform the command system. And QoS parameter this is a response time and throughput. Testing by means of ping test to obtain. After that will be analyzed in the response time and throughput it takes to send commands from a web browser that is controlled from a smartphone to a microcontroller. The results obtained after the system has been created is a system can connect to a local area network in a home and after testing all of obtained the required response time of the system to perform the command average time 48.106 ms and throughput/ transmission speed 10.989 bit/sec. It can be concluded that the design of microcontroller-based web browser via LAN wireless can be implemented.
